I just wanted you to know that you have made some of my all time favorite art.  I have three pieces of yours I printed out and framed and are hanging in my kitchen, and I still stop and stare at the linework because I love it so much.  Your contributions to this world are beautiful.

Hi! Thanks for your interest! I’m afraid I am no longer posting anything, either here or anywhere else. I don’t really draw these days. I’m sorry for vanishing from the internet so abruptly, but given that I no longer had anything to contribute, I didn’t see any point in sticking around. I realize now that my sudden departure might’ve been a bit alarming, apologies for that. I’m fine. I was a mail carrier for a while. I enjoyed that a lot, but I had to quit due to injury and now I’m back in food service. Which isn’t precisely the culmination of a lifelong dream, but it’s fine, and I’m grateful to be employed.

I’ve undergone some kind of psychological change which makes creative thinking incredibly difficult. I’m not sure exactly what precipitated this change. Fortunately I’m still able to hold down a job and take care of myself, so while I miss having an imagination, I guess it’s not as utterly indispensable as I used to believe it was. I do feel much smaller and sadder without it, though. I never managed to do anything profound or important with the little artistic skill I had, but it did bring me a lot of joy.

Anyhow! That’s what’s happening with me. Thank you so much for your kind messages. I still love lurking on this site from time to time and looking at all the gorgeous artwork you folks are making. I can’t believe how talented you all are. Can’t wait to see the wonderful things you come up with in the future. xo
