I have this lil head cannon that the maiden is turned when she's 50 or so and there's ~two milfs, chillin in a castle~ Do you consider taking the story down that road, or in the more "decided she would stay mortal" direction?

yes so the canon in my head for these two is maiden is in her late 20s when she first enters the castle and stays human until around her 60s when lady d eventually turns her.

definitely a lot of fun questions and routes with like is immortality a blessing or a curse, what would take lady d to offer her maiden such a thing, feeding off human: hot, feeding together on other humans: also hot. i think that its a decades long discussion for the both of them, time changing each of their priorities and reasons back and forth a few times before they both agree :)
