Mmmm there’s so much here… For myself I liken it to sugar. I’ve grown so used to the saturated internet attention sugar that getting off of it for natural irl person to person sugar has been somewhat of a struggle. I noticed that I needed/need a lot more validation for things I do than what I needed before I had a following and even with a following I was always hoping for more validation through gaining and keeping followers. The candy is so sweet that eating a cherry seemed sour. However I am proud of all my internet clout fun like showing off outfits, modeling for alternative brands, etc. I still want to do those things. Just some thoughts I’m working through on how much of it is healthy to consume…

I really think that we need to be at peace with the idea of people posting online for attention. Literally every free piece of media from shitposts to art is being made for the very human need for attention and that's healthy and okay. It's not harmful behaviour to make funnyman shitposts for attention. I love my useless internet clout points actually

With all of the hate that's been going around the kawaii community especially from TikTok people need to remember that harajuku is for anyone. Any race can dress kawaii not just east Asians. You can be any age and like kawaii things and thing's that are childish and liking those things do not make you a pedophile (unfortunately I've seen people being called this because they like cute stuff) you can be plus sized and you are just as kawaii as anyone else. You can be any gender any skin tone and disabled and you are still kawaii. This fashion should always feel open to anybody
