Ayyyyy! About time I made a goofy Mario video :)
Audio is from the finale episode of Vinesauce’s playthrough of Super Paper Mario. It’s like 4 hours long, but it’s worth it.
The guys are all decently animated, while Peach is just :|  :[]  :|  :[]  :|

Zak Was Supposed To Die For Real – Theory
I have this conspiracy theory that, maybe in the first draft, Zak was actually supposed to die in the finale, and the funeral that the show ends on would be his funeral. This gets really deep into the show’s themes and symbolism, and picks apart the plot points in the rushed season 2. Thoughts as follows:

Luigi, King of Boos or something idk
Might flesh this out at a later date BUT!
Luigi has defeated king boo three different times
There's this thing where if you defeat someone three times you gain their status
What I'm saying is, king of the boos Luigi

Luigi deliberately misidentifying animals to wind up Mario is peek sibling behaviour.
Don’t ask what inspired me to produce this. I just loved the ‘why are you dressed like a BEAR?’ line from the movie so much XD.

Au of mine where Zak was abducted by Argost and his crew during an attack on the Saturday's HQ in search of the kur stone only a few years after it was stolen back from Weird World. That was a mouth full, but I had to get it out.
My idea was that the Saturday's HQ, Miranda's lab, and Dr Chiveyo's observatory were all attacked the way they were in The Kur Stone pt 1, only Argost didn't take forever tracking the pieces down, all locations were destroyed and burned down, with everyone surviving. But Doc and Drew place Zak in a safe room so they can defend their home, with Zak being instructed not to leave. Well, after the fight he does and finds the HQ burned down. He is then found and taken by Van Rook, as there actually might have been a part of him that still held feelings for Drew, and not wanting to kill her son.
Argost, on the other hand, convinces him his family is dead and raises him, quite harshly, to be one of his goons.
Doc and Drew find the safe room empty during their attempt to salvage their home and believe that Zak must have perished in the attack. It did burn down after all.
So, many years later....
They discover that not only did their son survive, but he was taken and raised by the very monster who killed all of the secret scientists many years earlier. And that he considered Argost his father.
I know, I know, I need to stop watching Arcane. But even though his design is Arcane inspired, he's not psycho. He knows who his parents are and when he finds out Argost lied to him, he turns on him. I also like that the secret scientists have their own individual majors, and I like to see Zak being interested not only in biology, but chemistry as well, not just what his parents are into.
Also, I want him and Ulraj to still be best friends in this AU, too, and they have matching shark bazookas. Ulraj's is blue. So Zak's would be a tiger shark and Ulraj's would be a great white shark.

Toad: why are guys holding hands?
Peach: studies show that holding hands can reduce stress.
Toad: oh, I thought you were dating or something.
Peach: we are.
Mario: we’re also really fucking stressed.

This flashback in ATLA, Azulon becoming enraged with Ozai for disrespecting Iroh and the recently deceased Lu Ten, is usually interpreted as Azulon then ordering Ozai to kill Zuko. I disagree with this for two reasons. 1: We don’t actually hear Azulon say that, it’s only referred to by Azula (who was around seven or eight at the time and might have misunderstood what she heard) and by Ozai, years later, when he is taunting Zuko on the Day of Black Sun. Neither Azula nor Ozai are reliable narrators. 2: Azulon is, at the time of this flashback, the ruler of the Fire Nation who has just lost one of his only two grandsons and heirs. What kind of monarch loses one heir and then turns around and demands the death of another, especially when losing Zuko would hardly bother Ozai? My interpretation of this situation is Azulon ordered Ozai to give Zuko into Iroh’s care, replacing Lu Ten as Iroh’s heir, neatly removing any argument Ozai had about Iroh’s line having ended. Ozai of course would never accept this. He either lied to Ursa, claiming Azulon wished Zuko dead, or outright told his wife he’d kill Zuko before seeing him get ahead of him in the line of succession, thus manipulating Ursa to help him assassinate Azulon. I think this theory makes far more logical sense than ‘Azulon ordered the murder of his nine-year-old grandson’.
