“I suppose that does help a little…” Roxie thinks for a moment, looking at her purple hair in the mirror, eventually deciding to text back. “I always did like your colourful hair. Maybe this won’t be so bad.”
Tempted though she was, she knew she couldn’t just go down to Toronto unannounced to see Ramona, especially after what had happened the last time. She needed to do this right, make sure the wounds had actually healed first.
“I don’t suppose it would be alright if I came down to see you for a bit? I know things got kinda messed up last time.”
💮ℛ𝒶𝓂ℴ𝓃𝒶;;– She mauled over the question a little bit. Sure, they didn’t really have the best go at the end of everything-- Admittedly though, compared to some of the other people she spent her time around, she actually enjoyed Roxie’s company the most. So, really, it wasn’t like it was a big deal. And at least she asked. The last thing Ramona wanted was uninvited people showing up.
Why not? Not like she had any other plans outside of the work deal anyway. With that answered, she looked back at the screen and began to text the other back.
Yeah, absolutely. Came her response. She moved to the door and unlocked it before her attention went back to the screen. Door’s open, but just make sure you knock. I’ll probably be making some iced tea, you want any when you make it over?
And, just as she finished, she made her way into the kitchen to do just that. Not that she knew how to make it herself unless it was just for her. But if she was having a guest, she’d be pulling a can from the freezer of the pre-done “just add water” deal. Might be a little too sweet, but she still needed something for the company, right?

❛ hm, an excellent question. ❜ Raja tapped her chin in thought, casting a furtive glance about the cramped room. Surely their target had companions who valued their safety. Raja settled closer to Ramona. She gestured to the booth across from where they stood. The pair had their helmets sat beside them.
❛ Those two don’t seem all that attached to theirs. Mom dropped them on their heads one too many times. There’s really no point. ❜ Raja reasoned with her own creeping guilt more than Ramona. ❛ You got this, sticky fingers. I’ll meet you at the bike in five. ❜
💮ℛ𝒶𝓂ℴ𝓃𝒶;;– She didn’t say anything, not until she was addressed again to grab the helmets. ‘ Yeah, see you in five. ‘ She responded before turning on her heel to get right to work. And it wasn’t like it was that difficult a task to accomplish. Though she did have to waste some of those five minutes waiting for these guys to get up and go to the bathroom. Not that they did it together but, it wasn’t much longer after the first that the second followed. With a quick glance around, Ramona carefully made her way through the people and picked up the helmets from the table, putting one under her arm and the other gripped tightly in her hand as she proceeded to walk through the crowd more quickly to the exit.
And she could assume Raja was probably waiting on her to arrive since the helmet matter was probably a bit trickier. But she waited out behind one of the walls. If Raja was out here, then all Ramona would do is wait until she was given some kind of all clear that they could put on the helmets and leave. For now, this was just to lay low in case those guys she acquired the helmets from came back around and decided to find out who swiped their helmets.

But riding on one was a thrill all the same whether she was heading it or not. And it seemed the two of them were absolutely in need of one.
‘ Damn, and I was hoping to flaunt my hair to the world. ‘ She laughed softly and looked around for a moment. ‘ Do you think we’ll be able to find two sets of helmets to swipe in here? Because, if we can, then I’ll get the helmets while you get the keys. ‘

raja spent most of the eventing eyeing a cherry red motorcycle. She was certain it had been parked just so to taunt her. Perhaps it was bold to invite her companion after mere minutes of conversation, but she could not deny serendipity.
