dates with nct 127
TAEYONG
Taeyong likes simple but sweet dates. A day at his or your house, where you continue watching the drama you’d been binging together through video calls. He’d probably get a takeout meal, like the ones you eat in the little paper boxes. Taeyong’s couch is so comfy, with all the cute pillows he has; and he’d offer to get you a blanket if you’re cold, so you guys would end up cuddling together, too. It’d be late by the end of the night, and he doesn’t want you to go home by yourself, so he suggests you sleep over. You’re already comfortable where you are, so you agree to stay over. The two of you end up falling asleep with his arms around you on his couch.
TAEIL
Taeil also likes simple dates, but there’s a difference between dates with Taeyong and dates with Taeil. For Taeil, dates with him will always end with the two of you getting laid. While Taeyong waits until maybe the fifth or fourth date, Taeil’s message is clear. He’ll order an expensive but small meal, complete with a bottle of champagne. At first, you don’t notice all the little comments and teasing he’s giving you, but by the time he decides to watch a movie, neither of you are concentrating on the movie.
JOHNNY
Ok, so Johnny likes spending money on his girl, and what better way to burn money than an amusement park? We’re talking games, food, matching headbands, all that cute sappy stuff. He won’t go on any scary rides, just the calm ones, but Johnny’s forte is carnival games. He will spend thousands of dollars playing rounds and rounds of games just to get you the stuffed animal you want; but he’s mean too, because you suck at games. He’ll laugh at you when you miss all three rounds in darts. “Oh my god, baby, you’re horrible. Alright, which one do you want? I’ll do it.”
YUTA
Yuta also loves spending his money on you, but this is shown in a completely different way to amusement parks. He’ll take you out to a fancy restaurant, and give you a little teal box before the date starts. You’re shocked by his generosity and the amount of money he spent on you. It’s probably a hotpot restaurant, so he insists on cooking the meat for you himself. He’d be the type to hold your hand while you eat, sometimes playful with you as he feeds you. After, he’d drive you home and walk you to the front door of your house where he kisses you goodbye.
MARK
Mark is such a sweetheart boyfriend. He’d take you to one of those drive-in movie theatres, like the type where you can sit under the stars in your car and watch movies. He’d bring a thousand blankets and pillows and would push back his seats so there’s enough room to lie down and cuddle. That’s all he’d do the whole night. He wouldn’t even pay attention to the movie. It’d get cold halfway through the night, and he’d notice you shivering even though you didn’t specifically say anything, but he’d insist you wear his jumper (and you never returned it). The movie, even though he wasn’t even watching, would instantly become your movie; the film that reminded the both of you of the special time you had together. There’s still a single kernel of popcorn under the boot of his car from that time he tipped the box over trying to make you more comfortable.
DOYOUNG
Ok so I don’t know why but something about Doyoung screams college boy study dates; but the kind of dates where neither of you are concentrating on getting work done. Well, yeah, that’s your intention at first. But Doyoung gets restless. “Baby,” he’d whine, “come on. Let’s go get icecream or something.” you’d roll your eyes at this, whacking him on the head with a pencil. “I have to study, baby.” now he’s the one rolling his eyes as he gets up and lifts you off your seat. “Doyoung!” you yell his name shrilly. “We’re,” he packs up your things with his other hand, “going,” kisses your cheek, “to get icecream!” and you really can’t say no to that beautiful smile, even as the librarian yells at you to shut up and the other students give you dirty looks.
JAEHYUN
Oh my god Jaehyun is sexy everywhere. He’d take you to the city with a camera but you wouldn’t be looking at the camera at all because you’d bee too distracted looking at him. Poor Jae just wants to take photos of his girl, and here you are staring at him like an asshole. “Stop moving!” he’d say with such frustration, “I’m trying to get a clear shot. Come on, sweetheart. Please?” his words only make you move and pout more, “but Jaehyun! I’m trying to tease you so we can go home and make out on your couch. See, look at me bend over now -” “alright! Okay, no bending over when everyone can see. Let’s go home, you brat.”
JUNGWOO
Jungwoo forces you to go to a carnival and go on every single ride with him, which you despise him for. He loves the rollercoasters, and you hate heights. You cried on one of the rides because you didn’t expect the drop, and the idiot took a photo of you while snorting through laughter. “I HATE YOU, KIM JUNGWOO,” you’d scream in his ears. “I LOVE YOU TOO BABY!” he’d yell back. You’d think there was menace behind the reason of him bringing you here, but actually it’s because he likes it when you grip on to him, scared for your life. He likes that he makes you feel safe, so actually, it’s a very sweet thought.
DONGHYUCK (HAECHAN)
I feel Haechan would bring you to the dorms first, introduce you to the members. Then he’d bring you on one of those cliché arcade dates, to which he gets very competitive. He doesn’t care if you’re his girlfriend, he has to win in all the games. He’s good at claw machines so he asks you which plushie you want and he ends up getting you three different ones, all of which you still have. He’d give you all the tickets he won so you can get a big prize because he loves spoiling you.

sitting on the dreamies laps.
summary. a reactions fic describing how id imagine the nct dream members reacting to you sitting in their lap. this isnt properly edited so please excuse any mistakes!
it was easy to fluster mark. you could give him one look and the boy would be blushing and kicking his feet. all day mark had been writing his next solo song and the lack of attention was really starting to get to you. you started by sitting on the floor next to him, reaaaal casual. after an hour of that with no luck, you huffed and crawled into marks lap, burying your head into his neck so he could keep writing. you could feel him heating up and see how red his ears were getting… you almost felt bad. key word, almost. with a kiss under his ear you went back to playing your game still on his lap just tucked behind mark’s head.
renjun would seem mildly annoyed. he would tense up, dropping whatever he was doing. renjun is a cautious person and he would be worried of overstepping or bothering you or reading too into this situation. the plot twist is, renjun was so far from annoyed by this. he absolutely adored when you snuggle into him while sitting on his lap. he just loves you idek.
jeno. he would just want you near him, naturally that resulted in him pulling you into his lap. his hands soft and gentle as they rub little circles on your hips. his eyes would be completely filled with adoration as he gazed up at you affectionately. jeno is the truest and most casual romantic *hearteyes*
crawling into haechans lap is a privilege. his hands fluttering a-crossed his light up rainbow keyboard (im jealous). his computer screen had been stealing his attention from you for the last weeks, due to this stupid new game. you decided to attempt to sit on his lap while playing, silently begging the universe to let this work. which it did, sort of. as soon as you got on him he paused his game and stared at you, eyebrows raised and all. “HAECHAN DONT MAKE IT LIKE THAT”
jaemins eyes were shut as he listened to his bandmates new album, their vocals softly lulling him to sleep. you wouldn’t help but melt at his “sleeping” face. sitting on the couch as softly as possible to avoid waking him up, you laid your head on his lap, attempting to do it as gently as possible. his eyes fluttered open as he gazed down at you with the prettiest smile. you dosed off with a quiet “ hi angel”.

Taeil just smiles and nods, but like several times. You’re hypnotized by his perfect smile. You don’t even know if he heard your question. (You don’t get to copy the homework.)
Johnny actually lets you copy, but they’re all wrong. Every. Single. One.
Yuta says “For a price.” with an eyebrow raised. You swear you’ve never ran faster in your life.
Taeyong doesn’t give a fuck actually, like he didn’t even do it. You would think he’s lying but you’ve seen his grades...
Jaehyun just sighs. Blank face as he nods. He doesn’t mind at all, but you swear you’re sure you’ve pissed him off.
Doyoung literally says no. No excuses, no bullshit, just “No.” Like damn bitch fuck you too. (He is my bias)
Jungwoo just pretends he didn’t hear the question. Just pretends to not see when you text him about it later too. Acts as fake as his lips.
Mark laughs nervously and offers to help. Sits you down and is like “Dude look. I swear it’s so easy bro.”
Haechan says he didn’t do it. Haechan is a liar.

summary. to be honest i just really love biting people and i felt like carrying it over to my writing today … anyways. this is a work of fiction pertaining to biting each member of nct dream (when you guys are dating).
mark. the first time your teeth bite down into marks palm that man SCREAMS. and i mean like noise complaints. he is completely fucking horrified and thinks you’ve gone literally feral. if this is a common habit of yours i see him not caring anymore. he would look at you and just ignore you lol.
renjun. ok first off… dont bite this man. renjun is not having it, at all. when you bite him he ignores you but not in the chill idc way, in the “ im not talking to you for hours “ way. he said once it reminds him too much of haechan and since that day you stopped lmfao. “ yn, if i wanted to date haechan, i would have. “
jeno. smiles. u bite his arm and he looks down at you with the most loving eyes and just giggles. no matter how hard it was. you stop biting him out of pure concern.
haechan. he bites YOU. haechan can basically read your mind and if he even suspects something he is biting you first. the first time you tried to bite him it ended with you running from him.
jaemin. he encourages this behavior. like if you havnt bit him in long enough time then he will literally stare at you and be like “ why dont u love me ?!?” you start to regret ever trying LOL.
chenle. breaks up with you.
jk but i see him just screaming and slapping your arm “ on accident “.

computer cafe dates, like pls. your either both playing games or your just watching him do his stuff. its so comforting for the both of you. you're telling him about your day, ranting about the annoying co-worker you had at work as he games away. he always listens though, remembers every detail. he tells you about his day too, and its just a fun hobby for you both.
hes a bit shy most of the time, so you're gonna have to be the one to initiate anything physical. but he loves loves loves hand holding. you dont know why and maybe he doesnt either, it just makes him feel so safe and his hands are so warm and he says your hands are so soft to him :((
he really likes taking photos of u... don't take this in a weird way but he looks like the guy to have like a whole photo album of u looking pretty whilst doing nothing. whether its u actually posing for the camera or him just taking a photo without ur acknowledgement. little photographer bf
again with the gamer wonwoo agenda, if u were even struggling with something just a bit, he would leave his game immediately. it does not matter. it could be the simplest things! not being able to reach something, seeing a bug, literally anything!!!! he will help u everytime. okay maybe he doesn't help you everytime but he always pauses his game when he notices, and then goes back to gaming if he sees you dealing with it on your own.
secretly loves it when you kiss him out of the blue while he's reading or watching something. he always hits you with the "what was that?" in a very cool tone but his heart is actually spinning like crazy. he thinks you don't know but you can see the cutest shade of red on his cheeks everytime. he doesn't need to know that though.

bf dino headcanons!
some bf!dino headcanons :) i wrote this for my friend and thought i'd share it here too since it turned out pretty nice! also a little something to celebrate hitting 1k!
dating dino would be honestly super fun and sweet. he would be shy at first but then as you both opened up to each other, it became clear he liked you very much and it showed in all his actions, thoughts, and words to you.
bf!dino who would memorize your coffee orders or favourite items from cafes so he could surprise you with them when you were at work with the cutest notes, always signed off with a heart and something he loved about you
bf!dino who would love doing on dates with you, holding your hand all the time as you both walked and talked. he'd look at you with the fondest smile on his face, squeezing your hand ever so slightly because of all the love he felt for you at that moment.
bf!dino who would do anything to see you smile, absolutely hating when you're sad or feeling low. he'd set up a cute romantic dinner one night but you'd had a pretty rough day. so, he turned on some slow music and held your hand as he gently guided you to the center of the room and slowly danced with you, all the while you couldn't help but smile at his cute but sweet antics. he may have proceeded to dip you in the air which made you squeal and almost fall but dino caught you luckily, all the while you were clinging onto his arm laughing while he's worried if you got hurt, apologizing, but you cut him off by kissing him, just grateful to be with him at that moment.
bf!dino who would spend days researching and thinking about the perfect gift to give you on your birthday, asking you all these questions subtly. and when he finally buys you a pretty ring, he's so nervous to give it to you, scared you might not like it but how can you not because it’s so beautiful and you're eyes well up with tears because of how sweet he is and then it hits you and you make sense of all the questions he asked you, you're heart all soft at how thoughtful he was. he'd slip the ring on and, proceeding to kiss your cheek and he go on about how pretty the ring looked on you.
bf!dino who would be there for you during your highs and lows. on your lows and hard days, he'd hold you in his arms and ask you gently if you wanted to talk to him about it, not forcing you to say anything if you didn't want to but he wanted you to know that he was there for you if you ever needed him. and if you cried, his heart would break, sadness pooling in his eyes as he saw tears roll down your cheek. he'd give you the warmest hug as he tried his best to comfort you, his heart shattering every time you sobbed. he’d take you out for ice cream and as you both walked to the store nearby hand in hand, you were grateful for the distraction. sometimes no words needed to be said between you both and silent understanding and comfort were all that was needed.
bf!dino would cheer you on and be one of your proudest fans, congratulating you and celebrating your achievements, big or small. he'd gush about it to the other boys as they watched him ramble about you with such passion and love. they'd tease him about it at times and when you'd meet the rest of the boys with him, they'd go on about how he told them this and that about you, only to make dino get all shy and flustered while he tries to change the topic, but you find it so cute :(
bf!dino who would walk you home if it was getting late, lending you his jacket before intertwining his fingers in yours. and when you'd reach home, you'd always end up making some excuse for him to stay back like "it's cold and the heater's not working", or "we have to catch the bus together anyway so you might as well stay the night". "that's just an excuse to make me stay the night hm", he says as he pulls you closer, murmuring softly against your lips before kissing you, slowly ushering you both inside as you chuckle.
bf!dino who'd love to watch tv shows with you and when he told you he watched an episode without you, he watches as your face falls and you're pouting, crossing your arms over your chest. "how could you, you knew we were watching it together right", you'd mumble. "but i thought you watched that?" "no i fell asleep during that and didn't see it". you'd then watch that episode in a huff, hoarding the popcorn bowl, sitting a slight distance from him because you were annoyed. he keeps glancing at you. and typical, cliché movie style, your fingers touch when you both reach for some popcorn and he takes this chance to wrap his free hand around your waist, pulling you closer, his lips meeting yours as soon as you turned your head before you could complain. you can only sigh softly into the kiss because you knew you couldn't be mad at him anymore about it.
bf!dino would send you the cutest selfies, demanding a selfie back, smiling like an idiot when you'd send one. the other members didn't even need to know who he was talking to, they immediately knew it was you when they saw that ridiculous grin on his face. bonus they secretly snap a picture of dino grinning at his phone and send it to you - "just so you know he looks at his phone like this when he talks to you". it would make you want to punch the wall because of how cute he was.
in conclusion, dino best boy <3

a/n: funnily enough, i received this request when i was sick, and then mark + renjun caught covid hhh congrats to anon for being slightly psychic! this is more of a traditional hc style rather than my usual, but i hope you enjoy it nevertheless!

from worst to best at taking care of you
jisung
don’t get me wrong, jisung is a good boyfriend and all
but he is NOT going to get sick
when he sees your temperature he nearly passes out
what do you MEAN you have a 103f (39c)
he leaves the room to call his mom and make sure you’re not going to die LOL
after that … he tries his best … but he gets a second opinion on everything
and he doesn’t want to get sick himself so he’s not the most comforting
but, once again, he’s trying
you ask for chicken noodle soup and he’ll make it, but he’s on the phone with haechan the whole time trying to make sure he’s doing it right
haechan tells him to make it bland and then he makes it TOO bland and you can barely eat it bc it just tastes like water chicken
the good thing is that he WILL be at your beck and call, so you could ask him for pretty much anything and he will get it
even if it has nothing to do with you getting better
you could be like “man i really want this shirt” and he’ll buy it bc you’re sick and he feels bad
he’ll stay the night to make sure you live through it, but you best believe he's on the couch or the floor next to your bed (once again, he doesn’t want to get sick too)
practically throws a party the first time your temperature falls under 101
when you get better he will shower you with hugs and kisses (the day you’re officially no longer sick is the day you receive the most affection from him you’ll ever receive in your life)
if you think he’ll get better at the whole nursing back to health thing, he won’t
calls his mom every time
at least he helps you get better! kind of!

ok it's not that he’s bad at it
like he makes a banger piece of toast for you to eat
he’s just a little … absent?
chenle fully believes that you know what's best for yourself and therefore will be able to treat yourself accordingly (which he’s not wrong)
you just wish he was a little nicer about it
on your worst day (aka the day when you’re fever is the highest), he recognizes that you probably can’t do much yourself and will help out as much as he can while still keeping himself not at risk for getting sick
gives you hot tea, washes your clothes, brings you medicine at the perfect intervals, enlists daegal to comfort you etc etc
he’s not going to be as distant as jisung is, though! he’ll kiss you on the forehead or give you a pat on the head when he comes and goes to get you more stuff
he might even sit next to you on the bed depending on how close you’d have to be
when you’re not at your worst though, you’re pretty much on your own
if you ask him to bring you something specific, he will, or if you forget to take your meds, he’ll give you a gentle reminder
i think the best thing about having chenle around when you're sick is probably how calm he is
he’s not panicked about your lifespan or anything (not like some others lol) and he knows you’ll be fine in a week or so, which reassures you whenever you start feeling like you’re going to pass out and die
he probably lies about your fever (he doesn’t want to worry you, so if it’s anything higher than 102, he’s going to say it's 101.5 or something lol)
you get better quickly! and, if you don’t, he’ll put in a bit more effort to get you better!
back to your regularly scheduled programming
haechan
the last of team “i don’t want to get sick”
he’s a bit like chenle in that he believes you’ll be fine taking care of yourself except he kinda has a meltdown when he sees how high your fever is
he’s almost in shock someone can get that sick
insistent on taking you to the hospital but you don’t want to go because you know you’re fine so now you’re bickering over it
“you need to get treated professionally”
“i just have the flu”
“the flu kills people”
“not me tho”
so for the entire time you’re sick he’s like begrudgingly taking care of you but in a way where he doesn’t have to touch you or anything you touch
puts a mask on when he comes into your room (thanks, haechan)
makes you take a covid test like 3 times a day even though it comes back negative every single time
if your fever plateaus at 103 or above and won’t go down, he will break his “i don’t wanna get sick” persona and drag you to the hospital
if it slowly starts to get better though, he will let up considerably
he’ll also stop making you covid test 90 times a day and stop wearing a mask whenever he comes to help out
he leaves you to your own schedule except doesn’t pay attention to when you’re taking meds like chenle does, just if you're taking them
but will ensure you eat and drink water
when you get better ur gonna have to deal with like 9 million kisses
it’s your fault you deprived him of them!
renjun
my dear renjun, aka the exact middle
if you have one of those annoying colds that just makes you feel bad but you don’t have a bad fever then he is NOT getting anywhere near you
he’d rather die than have one of those
but if you’re really sick, he’ll give in and nurse you back to health
except it’s kind of … awkward?
i imagine renjun as the type of person who never gets sick so tbh he has no clue what to do other than giving you medicine and making you drink water
you wouldn’t know it but he texts jaemin asking what he should do like every hour
imagine your dad taking care of you when you’re sick instead of your mom (unless your father wasn’t the awkward parent in which case just imagine someone who wouldn’t usually take care of you taking care of you)
that’s huang renjun!
he only ever takes your temperature when you’re asleep so you don’t have to witness him lowkey freak out over how sick you are
103?!? 104!? you’re killing him
he’d probably make whatever his mom made him when he was sick as a kid, so you’ll be eating pretty well
and because jaemin tells him to make sure you drink a lot of water, you’re drinking a lot of water. like, 20 gallons a day (okay well not that much)
he masks his panic really well though, so you (thankfully) won’t notice, not like you’ll notice with jisung lol
even though he’s not the best, renjun will probably be the one to get you feeling better the fastest because he’s relying on literally everybody else for help
the only issue is it’ll be the type of recovery where the symptoms linger for a month and a half because you returned to your normal routine immediately after your fever disappeared
enjoy the stuffy nose and linger cough !! at least your fever is gone and renjun isn’t making you drink nine gallons of water a day anymore!
jeno
the next trio are team “i don’t care if i get sick” but in very different ways
jeno doesn’t care if he gets sick because he’s not the most out-and-about person in the first place, so, if he gets sick, the most he’ll have to do is go grocery shopping while feeling gross
jeno gives lots of cuddles when you’re not feeling well! he spends 90% of the day laying next to you and holding your hand or koala hugging you
doesn’t panic, but you can tell he’s extremely worried, which makes you feel bad
documents every single fluctuation in your temperature and makes sure you always have some sort of cold compress to help control the heat
if it passes 104, you’re straight to the hospital, even if it’s just the flu or a worse-than-normal cold
like chenle, he’ll give you medicine at the exact perfect intervals, but he doesn’t stop like chenle does
rather than rushing to get you feeling better, he wants to make sure you return to health organically, so he doesn’t let you go back to normal with literally any symptoms
once the fever is gone, he lets up a bit, but that doesn’t mean he’ll stop helicoptering
any inkling it’s going back up and you are BACK IN BED!
jeno doesn’t ask for help when you get sick, which might be the best part about being taken care of by him
even if he’s worried, he’s sure to make you understand that you’re not going to die or anything and that you’ll be fine within a week or so
being taken care of by jeno means absolutely no lasting symptoms, a lot of water, and yummy food until you’re fully better

if it means jeno will spend every waking moment with you, you’ll be sick forever

feeling nauseous? mark is trusting essential oil moms and making you inhale peppermint extract while he unearths a state-of-the-art heating pad and any sort of nausea-soothing chewables he might own

headache? he gives you the most impressive migraine medicine you’ve ever seen, puts a cold washcloth on your forehead, and makes sure not an ounce of bright light is shining into your eyes

on top of that, mark is generally a sweetheart, so he’s trying his best to cheer you up at any moment ever
he’ll recount stupid stories of the boys or tell you weak jokes that always make you smile and laugh
in the way that he panics, his comfort-performance skyrockets because he’s doing absolutely everything he can to make sure you’re barely aware that you’re sick
he’s so relieved when you’re better that he practically deflates
and then he ends up sick because he didn’t even consider the possibility of that happening lol
have fun taking care of him!! consider it reimbursement for the past week he spent breaking his back for you!
jaemin
if mark is a wizard jaemin is like a god
it’s so insane
he like predicts when you’re going to start feeling a certain way and gives you medicine to suppress it before it even HAPPENS
you might feel gross and exhausted in general, but your symptoms are always going to be minor because jaemin is a psychic and will not let them get worse than a minor headache or a bit of nausea
when you first tell him you’re sick, he’s not worried at all either
your fever could be the highest one he’d ever see and he’d just be like “okay, go lay down”
like chenle, he’ll monitor your temperature but lie about how high it actually is to make sure you don’t panic and make things worse (even if it’s high enough to make him start to worry, he’ll just suggest going to the hospital to make sure it’s nothing you’ll need antibiotics for)
will casually ask if you need anything or if anything is bothering you, but he won’t do it to the point that it starts to annoy you
similar to jeno, he’s not worried about the speed of your recovery either, he’s just focused on getting you to the point of recovery no matter how long it takes
has a pretty intense “let things run their course” mindset, and if you try to make a big deal about getting better to go back to work or school, he’ll just tell you to go to bed and let yourself relax
of course, if things get worse rather than getting better, the mindset turns off and he’s focused on a quick recovery, but that probably won’t happen
jaemin also gives lots of cuddles; hugs when you’re feeling oddly cold, or when you’re generally upset by how you’re feeling
kisses you on the cheek every time he leaves the room to go get meds or bring you food
he treats you like he normally would, which is almost like the icing on the cake with this
you don’t feel alienated at all when you’re sick, you just feel like you with a bit of gross on the side
imagine all of the boys’ good qualities mashed into one, and that’s jaemin
