Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA Proud of Sapper Designation
Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA completed the Sapper Leader Course while in the US Army. In many modern day military forces, which employ the term Corps of Engineers to designate brigades of sappers, the term is the equivalent of the rank of private in the chain of command. In some military forces, the term sapper is used as a rank in place of private, and the role of the sapper is far-reaching. Bridge-building, ordnance disposal, water purification, enabling roads and airfields, combat diving and erecting and tearing down living facilities; essentially, any and everything which facilitates the fighting of friendly troops, is the purview of the sapper. French Foreign Legion sappers have had their own units since the 18th century, and have their own symbols; the beard, the axe, the leather apron and crossed axes insignia and leather gloves.
In the United States Army, soldiers who wish to be part of the Engineer Corps and wear the Sapper Tab on their left shoulders must study and pass this particular proficiency through the Sapper Leader course offered at the U.S. Army Engineer School at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA took the Sapper Leader course in 1992, a 28-day course which emphasizes small unit tactics, leadership skills and tactics which are utilized as part of a combined arms team. Enlisted United States Army soldiers from the grades of E-4, E-5 and above, cadets and O-3 officers, especially those who are in the cavalry, infantry and engineering troops, are eligible to take the Sapper Leader course. Sapper Island in Ontario is named in honor of sappers.

Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA Receives Air Assault Badge at Historic Fort Benning
As a corollary to his successful completion of Officer Candidate School upon his enlistment in the United States Army as a high school graduate, Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA earned his Air Assault Badge after completing his Air Assault training at Fort Benning, Georgia. The Air Assault Badge is awarded after successfully completing three separate parts of instruction centering on the rotary wing aircraft of the U.S. Army. Gutierrez would have studied combat air assault operations, rigging and slingloading operations and rappelling from a helicopter.  This structured training in formal air assault procedures is conducted at Fort Benning, Georgia by the Army National Guard Warrior Training Center, and is also offered at Fort Campbell, Kentucky by the 101st Airborne Division.  The III Corps Air Assault School at Fort Hood was announced for initiation in 2012, and the first class of the XVIII Airborne Corps Air Assault School at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina graduated in 2013.  The design of the Air Assault badge was influenced by the Parachutist Badge, which Gutierrez also earned during his time at Fort Benning.
Many of the most important courses and trainings undergone by Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA were held at Fort Benning, Georgia, an Army Base of the United States military near Columbus, Georgia.  Fort Benning has more than 120,000 active duty military, family members, reserve soldiers, retirees and civilian employees on base each day, and is known in the military family as a power projection platform, with the capability to deploy combat ready forces by air, rail and highway.  Fort Benning is also the site of the United States Army Maneuver Center of Excellence, the United States Army Armor School, the United States Army Infantry School, the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation and parts of the 75th Ranger Regiment 3rd Brigade 3rd Infantry, among others.  Fort Benning was named to honor Henry L. Benning, a brigadier general in the Confederate States Army during the Civil War.
The former Camp Benning was established long before Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA time there in the 1990’s.  Camp Benning was given permanent status in 1918 to provide basic training for World War I units.  Camp Benning became a permanent military post in 1920 and received an appropriation of $1 million to build the Infantry School.  Renamed Fort Benning in 1922, the fourth commandant Brigadier General Briant Wells began a plan in 1924 to vastly improve the environment and recreational facilities of the post, adding Gowdy Field, the post theater, the Russ swimming pool and Doughboy Stadium, dedicated to the World War I dead.   One of the first coaches of the Doughboys’ team was the young Dwight D. Eisenhower.  Another highly effective assistant commandant of the post was Lt. Col. George C. Marshall, who revamped and revolutionized soldier training.

Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA Completed Sapper Leader Course at Fort Leonard Wood
Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA, in essence, covered himself with glory while serving in the United States Army, compiling lists of achievements which would serve him well upon his honorable discharge in September of 2000.  Typical of his thirst for work and perfection, Gutierrez wasted no time upon his discharge setting up his own medical services business with other trained professionals.
Lieutenant Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA of the United States Army was honorably discharged from the United States Army in September of 2000, whereupon he became an entrepreneur of his own medical services small business.  Gutierrez had previously enrolled in the University of Southern California to gain his Bachelor’s Degree in 1998 while still in the military, and he continued his education at USC by completing his Master’s Degree of Anesthesia in 2008.
Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA was successfully certified in a number of special course educations while in the United States Army during the 1990’s.  One of these was the Sapper Leader Course, offered through instructors at Fort Leonard Wood in Michigan.  Sapper is a designation given to those who act as engineers in combat, engaging in duties which help troops move forward in offensive operations or projects which impede the offensive and defensive actions of the enemy.  Sapper training involves a variety of specific engineering abilities, including bridge-building, clearing mine fields, demolition, erecting field defenses and setting up airfield and road construction.  The word sapper originated with the French word saper, which means to dig under, or undermine an object.  This designation came from the use of recruits to excavate trenches under defensive artillery or fortifications to advance the French army in engagements with the enemy, thus sapping the enemy fortifications.  Originally saps were brigades of troops who dug trenches at an angle which would avoid enemy fire while a position was prepared for cannon which would be effective against defending forces and their artillery.  Sappers would continue a zig-zag pattern on their trench digging, eventually besieged fortifications of the defenders and enabling French troops to overcome or even bypass the walls of the defenders.
In many respects the Sapper Leader Course which was successfully completed by Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA when he was in the US Army during the 1990’s is a course in mining, as well as engineering.  In the British Indian Army the native engineer brigades were called sappers and miners.  The view of sappers as performing mining tasks and techniques arose from the work of engineers who would dig tunnels under fort walls and set gunpowder charges, exploding the walls and permitting attacking infantry to engage the enemy.  Both sapping, the digging of trenches, and mining, the digging of tunnels under fortifications, were done by the same brigades; thus the name sappers and miners.

CRNA Gustavo Gutierrez - Guidelines For a Successful Military Career
As an ex-soldier who had a very successful stint with the military during the 1990’s, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Gustavo Gutierrez knows what it takes to build a successful military career, mainly because he already did it. Most young applicants have a very good idea about what to expect, but knowing and being prepared for it are two different things.
Education Is Key If you want to advance in the military, you will have to convince your superiors that you are not just worthy of a promotion, but you are more worthy than others. This takes a desire to become better, followed up by a concentrated effort.
Stay Disciplined It is very important that you conduct yourself in a way that makes your superiors look good. This means staying out of fights, not having debts and consistently being punctual.
Flattery Is Unnecessary Following orders is a must, but being a “yes-man” and letting your superiors know how great they are every other second will likely bring in a different outcome than you would expect. People in the military will get much further with a “do your job, and you’ll be noticed” mentality. Talent, skill and knowledge almost always find their way.
Rumors Are Your Enemy People chat, and since during your military training you pretty much live in a closed environment, you will likely hear rumors. It’s important that you don’t give too much credence to those rumors and don’t pass them on. Gossiping can take away your focus from what’s important.
As a former army officer and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) who has seen his fair share of success stories in the military, Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA hopes that more and more youngster will give the army a chance.

CRNA Gustavo Gutierrez - Why Politics Should Matter For Everyone
A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) who watches political shows and reads various journals on a regular basis, Gustavo Gutierrez is well-versed in politics. Legislations influence every aspects of one’s life including education, work, and freedom of speech. If someone feels passionate about these rights, they should realize that all of them are directly connected to politics. Understanding that can allow someone to make better decisions as a citizen, or get involved personally in politics in order to make the system better.
Whether One Likes It Or Not, Politics Is Life
Society’s collective measures are largely influenced by factors like education, health care or the quality of the environment — in other words, politics. It’s not only understandable if someone feels passionate about the legislative processes, but also natural.
People should care about politics, because people should care about what’s going on around them. One of the main problems that stop people from getting involved, is the false notion that they are powerless. Since they assume they cannot do anything to change the system, they stop caring.
New Laws
There are other, more practical reasons why one should be interested in the inner workings of the legislative systems. New laws and regulations are constantly being made, and it’s important to know about them. Without knowing or understanding them, one will risk breaking those laws, which can lead to unwanted legal consequences.
As someone who worked in two industries that are heavily influenced by politics, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Gustavo Gutierrez knows and understands its true impact.

CRNA Gustavo Gutierrez - Military Benefits
During his eight-year military career, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Gustavo Gutierrez had many opportunities to showcase his abilities. The army helps as well as challenges its members through a wide variety of programs and initiatives.
Specific Training
Nearly every member of the American army is trained in an area of expertise. Military schools offer high quality education with some accredited programs that count towards one’s college credit. The main reason why army members tend to thrive post-military has a lot to do with the fact that in the armed forces, nearly every task has a non-military counterpart. This allows the soldiers to develop skills that they will actually use during their post-military career.
Funding College Education
The Military has various scholarship programs that help army members chase their dreams. These include but are not limited to: GI Bill, various Loan Repayment Programs, Tuition Assistance, and the college credits that they can receive while completing certain tasks.
Allowances and Promotions
Military members usually get paid on a bi-weekly basis. Their salary is based on their pay grade, how long they’ve been with the armed forces, and what role they serve in. When a new member of the armed forces becomes eligible for payment, they get a base payment, which can increase in time depending on certain factors. There are various allowances as well, including food payment.
Free Health Care
Serving members of the army get free health and dental care. These privileges can cover their family members as well, though a small registering fee and annual deductible may apply.
Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) has spent nearly a decade with the army, getting a military education in the process.

CRNA Gustavo Gutierrez on Sports Car Safety
As a huge sports car enthusiast and avid driver, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Gustavo Gutierrez understands why fast automobiles are so popular. Many people think that sports cars are inherently unsafe, but the truth is more complicated than that.
Active or Passive Safety
When someone brings up active safety, they usually mention certain qualities that can help a car avoid potential crashes. The passive safety measures, on the other hand, act when the active measure already failed to save the car from a collision. The reason why sports cars have such an inconsistent reputation has a lot to do with the fact that some of their safety advantages are also disadvantages.
Sports cars are usually small — thanks to that, they are also more maneuverable. With a sports car and its low center of gravity, avoiding a potential collision is much easier. When it comes to car safety, it may seem an advantage to drive a huge, sturdy jeep, but it’s in fact easier to avoid an accident if you drive a more agile and easier to control sports car.
It’s More About the Driver Than It Is About the Car
The truth is that speed is dangerous. The faster someone drives, the less time they have to react. Sports cars are much more capable vehicles than their regular counterparts, both in terms of acceleration and speed. On top of that, those who buy a sports car usually like to test its limits, ergo, they drive in a less safe manner. This translates into more accidents, providing the base for the false notion which states that sports cars are inherently less safe. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA owned several two-seaters in the past, always driving them safely.

Here’s the orbital period of our solar system’s 8 major planets (how long it takes each to travel around the sun). Their size is to scale and their speed is accurate relative to Earth’s. The repetition of each GIF is proportional to their orbital period. Mercury takes less than 3 months to zoom around Sol, Neptune takes nearly 165 years.

Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA - American History
For Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and Army veteran, Gustavo Gutierrez, the pride of being an American probably runs deeper than most. Having served in the Army for over a decade he has a personal appreciation for the historical past in which the United States was built. Beginning with the American Revolution and culminating with the drafting of the Declaration of Independence, the United States was formed. For all individuals, the United States of America touts itself as the land of opportunity, where each person can form and live out their own personal "American Dream."
From those humble beginnings, the United States of America has developed into a global superpower. Having one of the world's largest GDP, being a leader in manufacturing, and having one of the most advanced militaries helps put the U.S. at the forefront of countries around the globe. These changes began with the industrial revolution, in which methods and output of production far outpaced other countries around the world. During this period both World Wars changed the dynamic of the American family. Providing women the opportunity to work displaced jobs that were vacant due to service men leaving to serve in the wars overseas changed the way America worked forever.
The United States of America continues to be on the head of many technological advances and socio-economic progression. The United States is a country that has abolished slavery, pushed for equal rights, and currently has a minority president. For veterans such as CRNA, Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA, pride in their country helps drive them to create better communities on a local level as well. An equal land of opportunity for all is the premise the country was built on and continues to be today.

Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA - Exercising and Maintaining Health
Longevity, quality of life, and feeling successful in our endeavors are all important aspects of the human experience. For Gustavo Gutierrez, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), maintaining a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise is a choice he makes in order to fulfill his everyday duties in what many would consider being a stressful career. As a military veteran, health has always played an important role in his work but Gutierrez still sees himself as a perfectionist who needs to be at the top of his game for his patients.
Although many professionals experience a high level of stress related to their careers and job expectations, many find it difficult to take the steps necessary to improve their quality of life. With a recent work stress study conducted by Everest College showing that 8 out of 10 Americans claim to experience job-related stress on a regular basis, improving general health can be an important aspect of performance, job satisfaction, and leading a balanced life.
For CRNA, Gustavo Gutierrez, his work in the medical field and Army highlighted the need to remain active and healthy. This desire to improve everyday life and potentially lengthen lifespan is common but not as commonly addressed in a way that demands results. Improved diet, sleep schedules, exercise, and downtime are all excellent ways to improve health and see results in productivity when on the job. When these changes are implemented in everyday routines, there is hope that the American workforce would see an increase in healthy and happiness.

Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and anesthesiologist, Gustavo Gutierrez knows the importance of being diligent in his work. As a CRNA he holds the responsibility of a preoperative assessment of the patient, prepping anesthetic management, administering the anesthesia, managing anesthesia throughout the operation, and overseeing recovery. A patient’s life is in the hands of the CRNA as much as any surgeon operating, sometimes more than the surgeon depending on the type of surgery performed.
CRNAs must be knowledgeable, dependable, and able to respond quickly to emergency situations. They must have the ability to fully employ the use of their education including nursing, scientific skills, and analytical abilities. Clear communication skills are also vital aspects of a CRNA’s job as they interact with their patients and other members of the surgical team.
In order to become a CRNA, a person must obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing, or s similar qualifying vocation, be a registered nurse, have at least one year of acute care experience, and complete a nurse anesthesia program as well as pass the national certification test. Although somewhat strenuous, these requirements provide assurance that those administering anesthesia are well qualified and able to accurately perform the many duties necessary throughout the process of administering anesthesia.
Many patients undergoing surgery are nervous about not only the surgery itself but the risks associated with anesthesia as well. Having an articulate CRNA who is capable of his or her responsibilities to the patient is vital for patient care. Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA understands the value of his role as a CRNA and considers himself to be a perfectionist in his duties.

In addition to being a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with years of experience under his belt, Gustavo Gutierrez CRNA also regularly donates to charity and he believes that it is important for people to consider those who are less fortunate or facing different social issues. There are a number of very good reasons why you should donate time and resources to charity, including all of the following.
You Learn More By working closely with charities you get to learn more about the many social issues that affect other people. This is important as it provides you with perspective on the many issues that other people may have to face during their lives, some of which may never be an issue for you on a personal level. In learning more, you enhance yourself as a person.
You Meet New People Charitable events allow you to meet people from all walks of life, from those who are doing whatever they can to help to the people who need a helping hand. This lets you socialize with many people that you may otherwise have not met during the course of your regular life, allowing you to create and strengthen bonds that may last a lifetime.
Career Opportunities Though your career should never be the primary motivating factor behind working with a charity, CRNA Gustavo Gutierrez recognizes that many organizations look favorably on people who are dedicated to a cause. As such, by working with a charity you may find it easier to land a job that you’re interested in or advance in your current career.
