After a few minutes of flipping through several books on magic topics, the woman put them carefully back onto the shelf. But really, she had no idea what would be considered the right place on that bookshelf since everything looks so.. disorganized.
Turning on her heel, she made her way over to the crystal section of the shop. It ranged from crystals to emeralds of all different colors and sizes. Never before had she seen so many jewels at once. Picking up a aquamarine jewel stone, she held it in the palm of her hand.
“Wow... Is this really real? It’s certainly.. shiny.” She mumbled to herself, but still being audible to others around her. Looking over her shoulder, she reached her hand out to a magician looking girl who had a bunch of crystals in her hands. “Excuse me.. could you tell me more on this stone?”

It's in the Cards
While shuffling the deck, she focused her mind on a random question, “Will today be good?” Once content with how long she shuffled, she pulled out three cards, and laid them all side by side. slowly, she turned the cards, and saw the images: The Tower, The Fool, and lastly, Two of Chalices. Eerie was pleased. Each card represented that someone new could enter her life. It didn’t mean a romantic or sexual relationship, but a new person in general.
Setting the cards back down, Eerie stood up and wandered to the books. Many of the books were over Wicca, and it made Eerie wince. She didn’t believe in Wicca or Paganism. She was a secular, solitaire, and eclectic witch. It basically meant she didn’t worship any deities. However, she did believe archetypes and symbols. Those, she felt, were everywhere, no matter what religious pathway you pursued.
A heavy sigh escaped her dark, red lips. She felt tired, feeling all the surrounding energies in the shop. She wanted to leave, but did want to pick up a few new crystals. Quietly, she made her way to the crystals and stones section of the shop. She picked up rose quartz, clear quartz, amethyst, tiger’s eye, and a few other random stones.

She was patrolling a new “New Age” shop, which advertised in Tarot, crystals and stones. She was hoping to find new crystals that would aid her in her Tarot and Palm readings, but she was getting a sketchy vibe from the store.
When she entered, she saw many other Psychics and Hex Maniacs. The majority of them didn’t have the right aura to be either one. She sighed, knowing that they pretended, so they could be popular and “in the fad”. Eerie wished that they would just be themselves, instead of pretending.
She scanned through the aisles, shaking her head the entire time. All of the crystals held negative energies and she could sense that they hadn’t been properly cleansed. If the shop owners actually knew what they were doing, they’d know to cleanse the entire shop, to rid it of the energies.
Continuing, she went to the back, and saw a table with a Tarot deck. The deck looked well used, but Eerie wondered how accurate the reader was, or did they just piddle around with the cards? She decided to sit down, and play with the deck.
There was always something that intrigued the champion about destiny. No matter how much one could try to rewrite it or try to change certain outcomes. And other times, destiny can even push you off the path you believed to have been on. It was a strange, yet exciting idea to think about.
This new shop opened up. It was called the “New Age” shop. It was marketed as a shop to specialize in tarot and palm readings. Now, Cynthia was the last person to get a palm or tarot card reading done. How could someone know what the gods had planned for her? There was just no way that she could believe that. Not even for a second.
But what completed for Cynthia to come even stunned herself. Maybe she wanted to see these “tarot card readings” and “palm readings”. Upon entering the store, people were bustling inside. It mostly seemed like “acclaimed” psychics, but there was some other folks gathered around. The blond decided to take her time to just browse really. She eventually wandered over to a bookshelf, that had spell books and other magic-themed topics. Out of curiosity, she picked one out and decided to read a few pages.

Cynthia gave the young blond in front of her a smile, before allowing her into the room and taking the flower that Serena got for her. “Oh. Thank you so much Serena. I hope that you enjoyed the show Serena.” She asked, before walking them over to her couches where finger foods and tea was laid out like before. But before she could take a seat, the young girl spoke up once more. She complimented the champion about how beautiful she looked.
“Oh thank you Serena. Those are very kind words for you to say. Although, I won’t lie..I did kind of feel like a princess.” She laughed softly, bringing a hand up to her lips.
Tumblr media
“um Cynthia I found this ring in the hall do you know who’s it is?
Reaching out, the champion took the ring carefully from the girls hand. She examined it very carefully, trying to figure out whose it could be. And even though she knew quite a large handful of models in the industry, she couldn't remember anyone with this particular ring off hand.
Tumblr media
“Hm...I don’t exactly know whose this could be... But we can go around to find out. There is a after party waiting to be attended for two tonight.”
Standing up from the couch once more, Cynthia carried the ring over with her to a glass table, where she set it down carefully. Spinning on her heel, the woman looked over at Serena before leaning behind her and onto the couch. “Serena. I know this may sound... last minute.. but do you think you could prepare a outfit, or at least help me with one?” She asked with a soft smile, awaiting for the girls answer.

The blonde watched as modles walked down the runway with amazment. Soon all the spotlights turned to the entrance of the walk way. A flash of sparkle passed the girls vision then an aploze filled her ears as a modle walked out on the stage with a elegant white weding dress, spirol corset, jewls on the accessories, and folded curls down her bag, it was Cynthia. Joining in the aploze the girl watched the show continue on.
After the show Serena was walking out and saw a little both selling flowers. With a glance back at the entry of the dressing rooms she walked up and bought a flower for her favorite modle of the night.Walking through the door and down the hall she saw very few people. “Guess most of them already left.” She said aloud and continued to walk to Cynthia’s dressing room. A small sparke cought the light blue eyes of the girl. Walking over to the corner the gleam of light parted to show a little ring. Tilting her head she bent down and picked it up. It’s was big enough to fit her finger but it wasn’t hers and by the look of it it was rather important to some one.
Holding it in her palm she continued to her destination. Softly knocking the door reveling the blonde modle in a cute fluffy robe. “Hello.” She shyly held the flower infront of her. “This if for you.” She waited for her to take the flower before continuing. “You did fantastic tonight and looked absolutely amazing…” She paused, “um Cynthia I found this ring in the hall do you know who’s it is?” She opened her palm to revel the little ring.

The champion nodded in reply, "Yes really." She said, giving Serena a soft smile. The girl seemed so happy to have Cynthia's help and assistance. For just a small boutique in Kalos, without someones help from the industry she would never be able to just walk up to them and try to sell her business to them. Cynthia knew that very well, being in the fashion and modeling industry for years.
Tumblr media
She waved to the girl, flashing her another smile before she went ahead to leave. Cynthia herself had to get ready for today's big showcase. As the blond went into the back, her team of designers, makeup artists, and touch up artists all seemed to flood around her in a semi-organized, semi-crazed fashion. All of which Cynthia was used to. In just minutes alone, the woman was ready, and awaiting nearby in the back of the stage to be called out. Today, she was modeling for the same company she started out with, Fascino.
Her hair was into long silky curls that gently draped over her back. Her first outfit was a tight white wedding dress that flowed elegantly to the floor as it almost seemed to extenuate her slender form. The top was adorned in lace that spiraled into corset-like top, even for the straps. The white veil draped at the back of her head, and the whole room seemed to stop as she went out on the stage. The rare jewels for her necklace and earrings shined elegantly under the bright stage lights. She looked like a goddess brought out of heaven. After a quick European half turn, she went back into other more fashionable street style clothes (I'm kinda lazy to describe them all but maybe I will draw them out one day).
After her last walk, the show was over and the crowd euruped in a loud cheer. With a quick bow, the models were ushered back into their changing rooms. Cynthia was in her changing room, dressed up in a white fluffy bathrobe as she relaxed. Hearing a small knock at the door, she walked over to see the young blond who seemed to had gotten lost along the way.
"Serena! I'm glad you could make it again."

Serena followed behind the tall female and watched her hair sway back and forth. ‘Gosh she sure is tall.’ Thought the girl as she sped up to follow her. Turning the corner with Cynthia she saw the hall filled with models getting there make up done, Fashion designers pairing outfits together, models waiting for the show to start, and people with head sets talking about music and lights to some other person some where in the building.
More and more energy and excitement filled the girls heart as she followed the champion to her seat. Once to her seat Serena turned to thank the women but she was already talking to man. She waited patiently for Cynthia to finish talking to him and watched as he handed an envelope to her then she turned and passed it to the blue eyed girl who was waiting.
She carefully healed the envelope and looked at it confused. As she opened her mouth to ask Cynthia had beat her to it.  “This is for you. It’s a upgraded package along with another trip back to come see me. If you would like I could introduce you to some designers and I will try to help her your boutique out there for others to know.” Serena looked up wide eyed. “Really?” She was truly a kid in the candy shop. ‘S-She ‘s so cool and the possibility to meet other designers to have inspiration.’ She held the envelope close to her.
"Thank you I can’t express how much this means to me." Quickly opening her bag she found one of her spare business cards. "If you ever come to Kalos Go to Lumiose City and look for my Boutique I would love it if you could stop by." She smiled and handed it out to her. "I would show you around as well to." She giggled. Smiling again she watched as the model was soon whisked away by one of the helper people with a microphone head set to prepare for the show. Serena quickly sat down placing the envelope in her bag she watched a small amount of time past before the lights faded and a spotlight was placed on the lead designer and for him to began the his speech.

The blond smiled, reaching over to give the girl a small pat on her shoulder. "Don't say those words like they mean nothing. Everyone starts from the bottom. Keep working hard for what you love to do and I promise the reward is better than what you imagine." She tried to encourage her, but she could tell that the young girl had some fire inside of her. It would get her far one day. "I'm not like everyone else in the modeling world, thank goodness." She gave a small laugh, covering her lips wit her hand.
"Oh? You even owe a boutique? Heh. You are starting to make a path for your dreams. Good."
Tumblr media
Cynthia didn't seem the slightest bit worried as Serena mentioned about the time and seemed to panic, jumping right out of her chair and running out the door. A few moments passed before she came back in, admitting to the champion that she honestly had no idea where she was or where she was going. Another small laugh escaped her lips as she stood.
"Follow me. It's not too hard from here."
The woman waited for the girl to follow, before leading her down the halls that were filled with models, makeup artists, fashion designers and more that all seemed to be rushing and scrambling to get ready. Before leading Serena back to her original seat, Cynthia talked to a older man who handed her a envelope before giving it to the young girl waiting patiently for her. "This is for you. It's a upgraded package along with another trip back to come see me. If you would like I could introduce you to some designers and I will try to help her your boutique out there for others to know."

A smile crossed her face at Cynthia’s answer. “I’m glad to hear that. Its a lot of help to the designer when the models are confidants about their work but thats all i know I’m just a beginner in this field.” She loved her work and couldn’t wait to work with people like the woman across from her. “You know, you’re really nice if I were to fall in front of any other model like I did when I met you they would just keep walking by. Thank you for that again and you should come to Kalos and stop by my little boutique in Lumiouse.” Serena said as she finished drinking her tea.
Looking over at the clock Serena’s eyes widened. “Oh my. Cynthia I think its time that I should go and get my seat its almost time to start the show!” With a little excitement she jumped up out of her seat. “I have to hurry if I’m going to go get my seat.” Serena turned to face the model one las time with a smile. “Cynthia strut your stuff and be your fabulous self and I can’t wait to see you in the fashion business.” with that out the door she went before she turned around and went back into the room.
"Um… Actually can you tell me how I can get to the seating area I’m afraid I might get lost." She lightly chuckled at the end. Serena was over joyed to see this show and wished to find her seat before it started but she could only do so much with the knowledge she had.

It was a dreadful week to prepare for this ball. Ordering all of the exquisite foods, and making several detailed meals plans was the worst of it all. Of course, when Jirachi had offered to grant her wishes for that to be done, the legendary Pokémon actually relieved her of some duties. And before she knew it, the Pokémon had gone ahead to grant off all of her wishes, and the ball would be something to remember.
The hall that held the ball itself was absolutely breath taking, The ceiling was ordinated in a painted glass, depicting the creation of all sorts of Pokémon from all regions. It went along well with the Victorian-like architecture of the hall, that lead out of a large grand ball room. The halls had gothic arches, adorned with elegant Christmas decorations. Sparling garland strung along the edges of the arches, and sprawled out into the ballroom. A large Christmas tree centered the room, sparking with hundreds of decorations covering the large tree. People were talking, eating, drinking, and dancing all around the dance floor.
Cynthia herself had taken the time to get dressed up nicely for the nights events. Her usual golden hair has been curled into loose spirals, before her Pokémon assisted in giving her some waterfall braids. The dress she was wore was a raven black ball gown. Around her neck was a lace trim from the dress, before it was attached with three long cultured pearls to hold it into place. The dress itself was a sweetheart neck shape, exposing a bit of her cleavage (but of course, it was rather classy and kind of sexy). The lining of the sweetheart dress had smaller pearls, leading down the open back that she wore. Around her waist, was several layers of black silk, adorned with the black lace as another row of pearls created a wrap-like affect onto the dress.
The woman wandered around the main hall, wearing her black mask required by all of the guests. However, the blond had black lace all over, with pearls around the eye lids and along the edges. There were also a few black feathers on the mask, just as a added extra. She almost danced her way around the crowds of people, jumping in and out of conversations, all while keeping her identity hidden. People both complimented and complained about the party, and all for different reasons. But you couldn't always please everybody. And after a while, her feet had started to hurt from the black heels that she wore under her dress. The woman decided it would be best of she sat down or rested aside for a few moments, and decided to take some rest at the balcony.
Tumblr media
Cynthia sighed deeply, happy to finally get a moments rest. Her gray eyes looked out at the people below, watching them. For a while, they looked like individual people, sporting all sorts of fancy clothing, headgear, and masks. But after a few more moments of watching they slowly starting to look all the same. Almost ant-like even. It was kind of a strange sensation really. Looking over her shoulder, she noticed a young man who was resting on top of the balcony himself. He didn't seem to be very social able, since he stood so far away from the crowd, almost in the shadows even. She moved herself from the balcony she stood at, and moved her way over the mysterious man.
"Do you have room up here for one more?" The woman both asked and teased, moving to lean herself against the balcony next to him. Her eyes looked over at him, giving him a small smile.

As You Are - - - { Steven and Cynthia } { Event }
The muted, even staccato of unhurried footsteps rose into the crisp night air, muffled by the unfamiliar shroud of snow that seemed to richly blanket every inch of Sinnoh. The occasional occurrence of a frigid yet light wind penetrated his heavy black coat and wool scarlet scarf, the newly crowned champion shuddering violently as the foreign climate gave life to a multitude of goosebumps that rose upon his skin as abundantly as the rich green foliage that decorated his home region. He was rather uncomfortable, and not entirely sure what the night was to hold for him as a grand citadel began to manifest from beneath the cover of drifting, powder-like snow, and yet he continued forward, ignoring the sting of cold that relentlessly bit at his face and caused his azure gaze to narrow determinedly in the darkness. Whether or not the enigmatic invitation that graced his mailbox only a week prior was a hoax or not, it had been signed by a certain soul he had not have the privilege of meeting for many years, and like any other mystery, the geologist was filled with an unmistakable tenacity to uncover the truth of it all.
Perhaps it was foolish to take a week hiatus from his relatively new position at Ever Grande, and it was certainly uncharacteristic for him to drop all tomes of mythology and encyclopedias of minerals in order to take some haphazard trip half way across the world in the dead of Winter. And yet, as his footsteps came to a quiet halt in front of the towering, ornate doors of a building that could be described as nothing else but a legitimate castle, the mind that usually valued logic and careful calculations was far away, abandoned in the verdant plains of Mossdeep the second he exchanged such a mentality for an undying hope.
Inhaling a quiet, apprehensive breath of frosted air, he removed his gloved hands from his pockets only as the doors began parting with the entrance of seemingly hundreds of excited, vibrant patrons. As the burden of holding the grand doors open came upon himself, he lightly pushed them open long enough to file in behind the masses, his gaze quiet but keenly observant as a scene that could have only been pulled from grand Kalosian legends themselves met his eyes. A grand ceiling carved with such antiquated intricacy that he was almost tempted to stop and investigate its origins was the summit of a long corridor decorated with lavish tapestries and gilded frames. The peculiar yet oddly comforting scent of dust and wine filled the air, and the collective noise of hundreds of chattering voices and laughter rose, amplified by the careful curvature of the walls as he shuffled among a crowd whose size was only beat by the rambunctious audience that often lined the ostentatious stadiums of the League.
Though he would normally feel rather uneasy among such masses, being a particularly kind yet distinctly reserved, private person, there was an odd comfort to be found in the variety of masks that disguised their faces. Constructed from the inspiration of a multitude of themes and creatures alike, they shrouded the identity of those that gave him only fleeting glances, revealing only the hue of their bright, anticipant eyes. Before he became too distracted by the entertainment he found in attempting to decipher the theme behind each person’s ensemble, the feeling of his own bare face became alarmingly apparent, filling him with a sudden panic. Mumbling “excuse me” in a manner that was loud enough to be heard yet quiet enough to where one wouldn’t recognize the voice of Hoenn’s newest champion, he pushed his way carefully through the crowd until he was standing beneath a large oil painting of some unknown figure, away from the endless stream of people that filed into what he presumed was some sort of grand ballroom.
Tumblr media
“That was rather foolish of me,” he murmured hastily, his characteristically calm tones replaced with the hurried breaths of someone who had just evaded discovery. With his back to the crowd, he gazed down at the long, black overcoat that hid his own formal attire as his hands reached down to methodically undo each button. Just as the woolen article was nearly removed from his frame, he began to wander into a chamber that was designated as the coat room by some fortunate circumstance. With yet another relieved breath, he saw that it was empty and filled to the brim with outerwear of all colors and sizes, undoubtedly belonging to the guests that had already made their way through.
The gentle clacking of his white shoes upon the smooth wooden floor of the room was the only noise to be heard as he headed over into a corner and positioned the coat upon a brass hook. Before he left it for the night, Steven reached his hand into a large internal pocket, retrieving his own disguise. Bringing the thing down over his eyes, his highly televised face was at once hidden, a piercing blue the only symbol of his iconic visage as he turned around, revealing a mask that was shockingly ornate and beautiful for a man that spent the majority of his days covered in dust and soot. It was mostly white, constructed of a silky fabric flattened upon a firm base. A sky-blue, threaded embroidery lined the contour and eyeholes of the mask, but perhaps the most personal, striking aspect of the piece were the shards of gemstones that lined the left side, arranged in an iridescence and variety of color that framed his eyes in a spiral and made them appear more lively than before. The personally inspired mask matched his clothing, which was the near antithesis of his normal black suit as a tuxedo as pure white as the freshly fallen snow accentuated his tall, lithe figure. The champion was dressed more formally than normal as his jacket was befitted with old-fashioned, elegant coattails and paired with pristine white shoes. An undershirt as pale blue as the woven part of his mask was worn beneath his jacket, paired with a bowtie that was rather dissimilar to his normal scarlet scarf. Finally, his normally unruly silver hair was slicked back in a way nearly unrecognizable, leaving Steven to appear as a quiet, unknown figure whose usual dynamism as champion was replaced with the obvious elegance naturally endowed in an affluent, respectable heir.
Tumblr media
However, despite his donning of elegant, expensive articles, he maintained his modest demeanor beneath the disguise of a mysterious gentleman. He wasn’t quite sure himself why he chose to dress himself in such a way. Perhaps it was because he feared discovery and truly did want to take on a different persona for the night. Maybe it was because he hoped he never did have to face the knowing eyes of the host of the party, who he was honestly terrified and thrilled at the prospect of meeting once again. Whatever the case, he finally mustered the courage to exit the coat room, that same strange hope in his mind carrying his feet as he entered an expansive, glittering room filled to the brim with hundreds of disguised guests. A bit overwhelmed at the energy of it all, the champion turned, his eyes alighting upon a stone staircase that led to a balcony that overlooked it all. Deciding to find at least some sort of momentary refuge before he dived into anonymous conversation, he scaled its steps, the gloves that hid his callouses resting upon a railing as he observed those who danced, drank, and conversed. Eyes narrowing ever so slightly, he wished he could maintain his usual sort of inner, quiet collectivism, and that he could make himself believe he wasn’t looking for that familiar shock of flaxen hair.

The champion walked along side Elios Draken. Sure the idea of going to the circus sounded fun (and Cynthia needed a night of fun for once in her life) but who knew if she would enjoy it? It had been years since she last went to the zoo. The woman looked up at the stripped tent as she reminisced over memories of her past. Cynthia could remember clearly coming to these kind of places as a child, and the fun memories that were in store. The enticing smell of popcorn, fried foods, and cotton candy filled the air and at the same time, made her stomach growl in hunger. Good thing that it was loud, otherwise it might have been embarrassing to have the boy hear.
They both walked into the large, brightly color stripped tent after the ringmaster escorted the two inside.  Good thing about that happening was that they would get to skip ahead of the huge lines that circled around the tent. Inside, people gathered around as they tried to find their seats. The blond lead Elios over to the middle of the section, and at a view where they could still see the floor of the circus, with very minimal obstructions from their view.
Tumblr media
"It's certainly been a rather long time since I've been to a circus. I wonder how much has changed since I was a child." Cynthia asked herself, before looking over at the brunette who was sitting next to her. "Would you like anything to eat or drink?"

Angel with a Shotgun || Cynthia & Elios [X-Mas Event]
"It's almost time." The Sinnoh champion spoke to herself, letting a grin go across her lips as she looked over herself in the mirror with her mask. It was white, decorated in black lace and rhinestones. Sure, it would almost seem as if it was too girly for the woman, but she didn't mind. After all, the whole point of the masquerade was that no one was supposed to know who she was. The woman just hoped that people would attend Praginue town. She wanted something lively, new, and fun for the holidays.
Tumblr media
Cynthia found herself arriving to the town, securing her mask across her face before being bundled in a white fluffy coat and earmuffs to match. The town was located near Snowpoint city, which happened to be at one of the coldest parts of the Sinnoh region. Sometimes, she wondered how Candice could even bare to wear such a warm-looking outfit in such a cold region of the region. Even growing up from age 10 in the Sinnoh region, it still got unbelievably cold during this time of the year especially.
But even with the cold, Cynthia still found herself to love this region, especially around the holiday season. Everyone was so happy, and everything just felt so right. The white Christmas lights and songs helped to liven up the mood of almost anyone, and Praginue City was decorated to the finest. The champion herself wandered the city, almost in awe of the couples and families that covered the streets. Here she was, just trying to get over her pathetic love life, which was completely one sided. It was a childhood crush, that honestly was getting no where with her hiding. The blond would have to realize that it will never work out, and that she should give up.
Tumblr media
Maybe during this time of holiday cheer and thrill that the girl can find a way out. Or at least, find some joy in her love life. Once and for all, maybe she could find someone new, and someone who could finally make the woman happy. Just.. maybe then she could move on from her pathetic one sided love with a chrome haired friend who never kept in touch with her anymore.
The blond continued making her way down the streets with a cold wind almost blowing right through her clothing. It sent chills down her spine. And to escape this chill, she found shelter inside a small cafe right outside of the town center. It was a small, family owned business. Even all of the ship owners complied with wearing masks, which had been part of her wishes for the towns people. She ordered a simple coffee, light and sweet, which was what she always liked. Sitting down by the window, the woman stared outdoors as a soft snow gently came down onto the city.

Cynthia could notice the girls mouth almost drop, and a small smile went across her lips. It was common to get that reaction whenever Cynthia told someone who she really was, but at the same time it was uncommon for people to not know who she was. After all, she was a big deal back in her region. But she was still young, so Cynthia could understand. But she took it as quite the compliment when the young blond mentioned how beautiful she was. She really did take her beauty seriously.
Tumblr media
"Oh... Why thank you Serena. And no, you do not have to be old to be a champion. I'm still consider myself to be quite young. But I guess that also depends on what your definition of young is." She joked, letting a small laugh escape her lips. "Where are you from exactly...? You don't seem like someone from Sinnoh. You look quite trendy really."
Serena changed the conversation, asking the young woman if she was nervous about the show. She was... but not as much as other people would be. "A little bit, but it's nothing that will scare me from going onto the stage. Everyone is always nervous, because you don't know exactly what will happen. Sometimes you fall, other times you have a malfunction with wardrobe. Anything can happen, and everyone puts the blame on you. So of course everyone, new and old can be nervous." Cynthia explained, giving a confident smile. "In all honestly, I am not too worried about today. I am just going to go on out there and strut my stuff."

"Oh." Serena said quitely. The blonde hadn’t seen her family in a few years as well, "mabye I’ll go see them." She thought to her self before snapping back into reality and focusing on the other blonde in the room.  Her eyes widened at the next words to come out of the models mouth "I’m the Sinnoh region’s champion, Cynthia. Modeling was just a side thing I picked up for when things would slow down over at the Elite Four." This woman was already a goddess to Serena and hearing that made the girls mouth drop. “No. Way.” The blonde said astonished.
She knew every reagin had a champion with the elite four but she thought that they were all old and maybe had some idea on what they should wear. “Your a champion… you can’t be your… your just so pretty and young. I thought you had to be old to be a champion.” Setting down the tea cup she  looked at the women accurst from her. “The champion where I live is old but does have some fashion sense.” She said aloud and tried  to think of what to say next.
Quickly shaking her head she got that subject off of her mind. “No Serena she hears stuff like that every day. Yes she is amazing but she most likely would like a brake from that ask her something about the show.” She thought to her self. “So the fashion show.” She let out a small laugh. “Are you exited or nerves?” Scratching the back of her neck she picked up the cup of tea and took another sip of it. “Smooth Serena best question you could come up with. Of course she wouldn’t be nerves she must have done this a lot before you got here.” She mentally faced palmed at her silly questions and how stupid and childish she must look to Cynthia

Feeling a small tap on her shoulder, Cynthia turned to see it was a face that she hadn't seen in quite some time. Dawn. How long was it already? At least a couple of months since the pair last met. Sure, they send letters and messages quite regularly, but there was something different when it came to face-to-face contact. Personally, Cynthia loved it better than anything else. This was likely due to the fact that she was so busy and couldn't see people whenever she wanted.
"Dawn." Cynthia smiled, before leaning down to give the woman a hug. The two of them were close enough that it wasn't awkward, but to everyone else it seemed to be a big commotion. The blond looked around, before looking back down at the smaller girl. "Lets go somewhere more quiet."
Tumblr media
Once Cynthia lead Dawn away from the large crowd, they wandered into one of the small side apartments, where there was a large fountain decorated in christmas lights and decorations. The light posts in Hearthome looked like snowmen, with their usual light bulb replaced with snowman heads. A large christmas tree was around, decorated with white lights and cute popcorn garland. The town really went all out for Christmas.
"So how have you been? I've just been busy, but I wanted to travel for the festival. I've been coming since I was a kid... and it's been a few years so I thought I would treat myself. Why are you in Hearthome Dawn?"

Winter Festival || Dawn & Cynthia
Dawn had been in Hearthome since a week before the festival started. They had been there, not only to see the festival’s setup, but also to partake in a few competitions while they could. Because of this, you’d think that Dawn would be frugal with their money, only it was the opposite, really. Over the last week, Dawn had blown through a good 10,000 P, and they weren’t slowing down anytime soon… not with the festival just around the corner.
"Alright, E… if we only buy snacks once a day for each day of the festival, we might still have enough to buy that cool thing over at that stand over there…" They said, looking down at the Glaceon. Eira nodded, and then pointed her head over to the atm, looking back at Dawn slyly. "Or we could go withdraw some cash, even though that was supposed to be our travel funds for stuff like pokeballs." They sighed, trudging over to it.
Walking over to the atm, Dawn quickly withdrew their funds, glancing over to the pokemon center, not even 3 blocks down the road. “That’s a big crowd their, E, wanna go check it out?” They asked, their eyes glued to the location. Nodding, E began to walk down the street, not even waiting for Dawn to put away their cash. “E!! Wait!!”
When the pair had finally reached the pokemon center, Dawn could finally see why there was such the crowd, peering through, they could make the figure of Cynthia out! Pushing through the crowd, they walked up to the familiar face, smiling widely. Tapping her on the shoulder, Dawn would nod, piping up in their quiet voice, “Hello!! How have you been?”

Listening to the boy's response, she was rather surprised. Thinking back to the start of when the duo first spoke their first few words to each other, she knew that the boy was out on a mission to find his sister. Now, she understood that because of this that he must have traveled far and wide already. But if that was the case, did he just stay as a quiet, traveling boy who had his heart set on one goal and only that one goal?
"Well..I guess I can tag along." She replied with that smile across her lips once more. Though with Elios mentioning it, she laughed softly to herself. "It's been a while since I've seen someone with a bright, burning passion like yourself. It reminds me of myself in all honestly when I was much, much younger."

Elios had mentioned that he would need help to find the tent, and the woman nodded her head in response. "It won't be too hard to spot. If my memory serves me correctly the tent should be in the same place that it was when I was younger. They usually had the circus in the middle of the town. It's easier to find that way." Cynthia explained, before putting on her coat and leaving the cafe with the brunette.
