A decade ago, a 17-year-old Black teenager left his father’s home in Florida to go to the store at night. He left with tea, a small bag of Skittles and his hoodie. He never made it back home.
The teen’s name is Trayvon Martin. He died on Feb. 26, 2012. Huffington Post
