I've made so many mistakes in life, but I'm still standing. I may have crawled at times, but still, I get up each and every time I fall. There were times I wished for the easy way out, but the hard way proves to be the sweetest.

"You're too old."

"You're not too tech-savvy."

It's too late for you to change they say. You just need to make a decision and then lift it up to God.

Tomorrow, I will embark on a new path. I have decided to embrace what many have tried and succeeded already. That's the world of virtual jobs. It took me a year but It's really never too late to change directions. The number of people that switched from onsite/temp WFH jobs to remote/virtual ones has increased significantly due to the pandemic. Aside from that, I also have a number of personal reasons why it's best to stay and work at home permanently.

First, I bought a core i5 desktop with 8GB RAM, which was the ideal computer for this type of job. Then I searched for online job platforms. Although I've managed to be accepted in several, I still think I need to gain more knowledge and create an appealing portfolio to get clients. I am willing to take my time to learn. It's a good thing that I was able to join VA Hub that offers training and then makes you part of a team. This will be a good way to start at least to gain experience until I'm able to get clients on my own. I'm sure many of you will not read the entirety of this post, but if you're still reading, thank you for taking the time to take part in my new journey. ☺️

Just reminiscing the pre-pandemic days where we frequently go out and enjoy. Be it traveling to Manila from Bulacan, or dining at our favorite restaurants, even watching a movie. It’s nice to be with your family and unwind from the hustle and bustle of work. 

Congratulations for having your first ever pandemic-quarantine-style 25th birthday!!! It’s a milestone for you and a very nice treat for us!! Thank you for keeping up with me everyday. You’re such a blessing I don’t deserve. May you always be humble, loving, caring, thoughtful, vibrant, funny, topakin, and positive and God fearing individual.
