thanks to nell and woody for making me laugh after a breaking down night!! sooo, this movie is about the next door neighbors that hv opposite behaviors and they re hate each other. one day, they argue in a museum; in front of a statue of an aztec god. and after that, in the night their souls swap bodies.
i love it when they re become totally chaos when they re not in they real identity. but, more than that. i loveeeeeeeeee how this romcom filck showing me about perspective, not only "so this is how it feels to be boy or girl", but more like "so this is how people look and think about me", and "so this is what actually they re going thru". cause unless u r in other people's shoe, u will never get it, right?

LET ME PRESENT TO U, OUR JAPANESE IT GIRL, LILICO!!!
i would nvr regret the 2 hours i spent to watch this movie, SO WORTH IT. this is gonna be one of the best movie i've seen so far.
Lilico, the top model in Japan, had to faced the fear that her career will crumbling down if she stop being pretty. a nightmare began to haunt her when she found that her body shows some bruises as the side effect of her entire body plastic surgery.
"i hear a ticking sound. something inside of me is going to end very soon."
at 1st, i thought i would hate lilico for her bad attitude and behaviour towards her team. but i blame myself for being so judgmental cause the more u see and know her, u will find how vurnerable she is.
i still cant get over this movie. everything about this, it's just perfect. there's so much i can learn on this movie esp it tells about how media industry represent woman and only associate us with sex, body, and beauty (kinda reminds me of (G)I-DLE - Nxde). the message it's so deep. lilico's fears of being forgotten, replaced, not loved, failure, and also her desire to be free but in the same time she loves to be famous. perfect score, 5/5.
disclaimer: this is not a chick flicks where everything's fine, but a psy-horror. if u ever watch The Love Witch, Perfect Blue, Mask Girl, i think u will love this one. contains some explicit scenes, drugs, plastic surgery and hallucination.
in case after u watch the movie u need some explanation and semiotic analysis about it, u can check this one! u'll be more in love cause i do.

ANOTHER REASON WHY I LOVE AMANDA BYNESS!! (hope she s doing fine rn cause she deserved much better)
i think this movie kinda heartwarming but delivered the messages in such fun ways! u will find success and failure in this movie, the majority and minority, also the power and powerless that i think it's good enough to represent the reality we live in.
i love sydney's last speech that said when we try to fit in — it made us feel like an outsiders. i learn that what we need is to made friends with peoples who can let us be and show our true self without making us feel like a dumb eventho we're dorky anw. also i figure out that everyone have their own time to shine!!! im so glad to see the 7 dorky guys got the ending they deserve!!
and at the end, kindness always win! 4.3/5 AND I JUST KNEW THAT THIS MOVIE INSPIRED BY SNOW WHITE & 7 DWARFS!!!!!

IF U NEED A GOOD LAUGH & A MUCH BETTER MOOD, GO WATCH THIS!! starring the legendary teenage queen 'amanda bynes' as viola; a girl who really love soccer but her team didnt get enough members so they didnt get a chance to play in their school. at the same time, her twins brother — sebastian, skip school & sneak to london about 2 weeks for pursuing his dream in music. since they are in different school, olivia thinks she will be going to sebastian's school and pretend to be him to join the soccer team there and beat her own school's boys soccer team. and then all funny and chaotic stories began!
amanda bynes carried the whole story so freaking good esp when she was in the sebastian mode!!! i could say this is another feminist movie who speaks about gender equality, where all women want is a chance. pluuuus, channing tatum is so hot????

another day, another movie to watch!
i would say this is a typical teenage movie where u go into a competition and u meet ur rival kinda things, but i enjoy it anw!
i really love it when they speak about the og one, plagiarism, even stealing idea of other teams and watch them winning with the concept of yours. i can relate to that. i also learn about leadership and acceptance, about win and lose, which i really love it! its funny to realize that a teenage movie could teach a 20s woman about many things. i guess if i watch this movie when i was in their age, maybe i wouldnt learn such things. i'll give it 3.5/5!

i havent laugh today until i watch this movie!! tmi i have no clue what is this movie about (suddenly my mind reminds me about this and ok, i'll watch it) but turn out SO GOOOOOOD AND FRESH.
this movie tell us about a girl who living her usual life as a cheerleader, a boy's gf, and also a christian but suddenly she s suspected being a lesbian cause she has girls poster in her room & dont enjoy her bf's kiss. she was so clueless but forced to go to the True Direction (like a healing place for homosexual). and when she got there, she started to figure out her sexuality.
I LOVE ALL THE JOKES!! esp all the flower boys here are so funny and more expressive meanwhile the girls love to being denial and play it cool, IJBOL. also the color grading, PINKKKKKKK. this is def gonna be my another comfort movie! for me, 4.8/5!!!

The Love Witch (2016)
i still cant believe this retro feminist horror movie coming from 2016 and not 90s. the actresses, colors & tone, storyline, dialogue, angle, ambience, value, character development.... everything i found in this movie is extremely perfect, except all the boys.
i think this might not the kind of movie that all people will feel comfortable while watching it esp when ur a minor and not familiar about 'cult'. it left something on me, but i couldnt tell what is it.
still a masterpiece, 4/5. I LOVE U, ELAINE!!!! <3
