“We’re all in the same boat, Tae, but you gotta roll with the punches,” he hummed. “Oh I know we’re stuck, but that doesn’t mean I can’t give you hell for it,” he teased. “I think you need a little help unwinding.”

“You need to have a firm hand,” Marjorie explained. “They’ll never learn. The ones that will push back are looking for trouble. If they deny you, bring it up with Crawly. She’ll make sure they get the punishment they earned.”

“It’s nice to meet you,” he said, shaking his hand, “I’m Peter. Welcome to Gould.” At the compliment, he chuckled. “Ah, you flatter me, but thank you.”

“You think awfully high of yourself for a submissive, don’t you,” Marjorie hummed as she noted the other’s self-separation from his classmates. “Professor Marjorie Nam,” she said as she looked back over to the student.

“Oh they absolutely do. It amazes me, sometimes, how like utter children they can behave,” she said, shaking her head. “We’re supposed to be preparing them for adulthood, but it’s so difficult.”

Akio giggled softly, nodding his head. “Then that’s good, I don’t feel so bad anymore.” Taking a look at his watch he couldn’t help but let out a sigh. “I just hope I don’t get in too much trouble for being so late.”

“It’s your class, it’s alright. Just shoot the students an email apologizing and you’ll be right as rain,” he promised. “Like I said, it happens to the best of us.”

What could he say? He was mad at the time. “No, it wasn’t. I was really mean. Plus, you’re a dominant. I should know my place.” 

“Let’s just move forward from here on out,” Minho nodded. “Yeah, it’s the same number,” he said. He still had Levi’s number--no sweet emojis next to his name like there used to be. Now just an empty reminder to reach out that had never happened until today. “You know I never held too much stock in all that,” he said, shaking his head. That much, at least, hadn’t changed during his time in the military. “I just--” always wanted what’s best for you. “
