alone: How does your OC deal with loneliness? Have they ever been completely alone before? How do they act when there's no one around to see them?
betrayal: Has your OC ever been betrayed by someone they thought they could trust? Has your OC ever betrayed someone who trusted them?

Zero, Zero Two, or DMS for 42
42. If invited to a TED Talk, what topic would they present on? What would the title of their presentation be?
Zero: “Why being consumed by Dark Matter is objectively the right choice.” Truth be told I don’t think Zero would care enough about presenting a TED Talk, they don’t really care enough to explain their motives.
DMS: I think he’d make his presentation on something relating to friendship development, but with a very sad, cynical take on it. Not sure what the title would be.

Queen Sectonia for 1, 3, 18
I don't have much lore building done for Sectonia but here's this.
1. What’s the lie your character says most often?
Something along the lines of control. Sectonia places so much emphasis on her need to be in power, to be in control, but she rarely feels like she has it. It’s a dooming negative spiral where she takes more and more drastic measures to feel in control, from changing her appearance to transforming the government into a dictatorship. Yet that never does anything to actually soothe her paranoia, and just makes her fears spiral more. So she says she’s in control when she feels the exact opposite.
3. How often do they show their genuine emotions to others versus just the audience knowing?
Once she gets into a position of power, Sectonia becomes much more controlled in her emotional expression. She’s a figurehead, she has an image to upkeep. So she never lets anyone see more of her deep-hidden fears and worries, save for Taranza. There’s a few small exceptions, such as anger and frustration when things don’t go her way, or laughing during an enjoyable battle. Things start to slip as she gets more and more corrupted, at which point she expresses almost exclusively negative emotions, dialed up to 100.
18. Who do they love truly, 100% unconditionally (if anyone)?
Hard to say. I’d say before her corruption she did genuinely care about her people, her parents, and definitely Taranza, be it just platonic feelings or reciprocated romantic ones. But once the corruption sets in, a lot of those feelings get clouded with fear, obsession, and paranoia. It’s tragic, really.

2, 36, 43 susie?
2. How loosely or strictly do they use the word ‘friend’?
Susie kind of does both? In a business setting, she would refer to potential partners as “friends” or “wonderful allies” and things of that nature in order to soften them to the idea of a partnership. Also would refer to others as such in the pre-Robobot eras, an innocent contrast against the mechanization at hand. But, these are of course not true friendships and used merely for business opportunities. In terms of “true friends,” Susie is much more reserved in using it, saving it only for the people she trusts the most. As such, there are very few people she will genuinely call a friend (namely Taranza, Magolor, and Kirby).
36. Who do they keep in their life for professional gain? Is it for malicious intent?
So, the entirety of Planet Robobot with her father in this. It’s not a perfect fit because there was a genuine wish to get her father’s memories back and restore their familial bond. And make some money on the side by selling Star Dream, as well, but that was more of a secondary goal. So it wasn’t really malicious, and though she doesn’t talk about it much, she is haunted by how much it backfired.
43. What do they commonly misinterpret because of their own upbringing / environment / biases? How do they respond when realizing the misunderstanding?
So Susie is fundamentally both a “privileged rich kid” and “someone who went through unspeakable tragedies” and both of those themes influence how she views the world. Her childhood prior to Another Dimension was picturesque and perfect, and so she carries on some of those more classist, pro-tech views, which puts her at odds with people like the residents of Dreamland. And of course her time in Another Dimension made her more jaded and guarded. It puts her in a very “survival-first” mentality, in which she gets extreme tunnel vision and nothing matters more than completing her mission. This mentality is what allows her to look past some of the bad things she’s done in the HWC because it’s for the sake of her mission. Susie in general doesn’t like to admit that she’s wrong, but interacting with such a diverse group of people in Star Allies has made her more open to the possibilities and learning about others, and so she does more to correct her misunderstandings and misinterpretations of others.

19, 20 and 58 for magolor?
19. What would they do if stuck in a room with the person they’ve been avoiding?
Assuming this is the sort of room she can’t just teleport out of, it really depends on the reason she’s avoiding them. But in general, she would do her best to continue avoiding them through distance (ie. moving to the other side of the room) and silent treatment. How the situation moves forward would depend on how the other person reacts. If they pester her enough her emotions will spill over and she’d snap or yell, though this could serve as a catalyst for them to actually work through whatever their issues are.
20. Who do they like as a person but hate their work? Vice versa, whose work do they like but don’t like the person?
Susie. He generally dislikes the overall theme of the HWC, even with the changes Susie brought once she took charge. He’s happy she’s making it better but the overpowering hyper-futuristic mechanical nature of it still makes him uneasy. They tend to have very snippy debates on the uses of tech, but they get along well outside of that.
Hyness, to a certain extent. Magolor is enthralled by Ancient history so seeing an old Ancient (Magolor is also an Ancient descendant, but Hyness’s age made him feel so much more “real”). However the problem is that Hyness is… Hyness. Magolor sees a lot of his own old character flaws within Hyness so it’s like staring into a dusty mirror. It gets better once Hyness starts changing for the good.
58. How many hobbies have they attempted to have over their lifetime? Is there a common theme?
So many. Magolor drifted through her childhood a lot, caught between her genuine interests in theme parks (which go with ideas of entertainment, dealing with people, providing joy) and the more grand ambitions her parents wanted for her (ideas of grandeur, importance, and achievement).
Here’s a non-comprehensive list of hobbies: history, anthropology, alchemy, engineering, sewing, crafting, entertainment, architecture, pranks. Some common themes include flashy and elaborate showmanship and the idea of creating things. Also the blend of magic and technology.

The Squeaks and the Meta-Knights have this weird rivalry. I headcanon that neither Daroach or Meta Knight is originally from Popstar and that they probably met on some other planet. Their initial rivalry is based on that whole idea of "noble knight vs gentleman thief." And of course their respective crews follow them wholeheartedly. The rivalry dies down later on when they start working together in the Dream Friends group, and they actually bond over a shared love of history. And Meta Knight has some respect for Daroach's own sense of moral code that he follows without fail. Their dynamic shifts to something more like what it's like in the Dreamy Gear novel.
