KAISTAL POOL PICTURES ARE NOT REAL
FOR THE LAST TIME people, those pictures were just edited by super saiyan photoshopper.
i can’t believe how many still believe those. i know its an ancient thing but people still brings this up once in a while and im tired of rolling my eyes everytime.
i have nothing against the couple, and i do love both of them dearly. so please read up and say the title of this post out louder lol.
see, these are the original photos being spread ages ago:
for those who are still in the cave, these pictures were said to be taken at s e a m a r q hotel in gang neung. google it up peeps. here are some lovely photos (that i’ve stolen online, i admit) of the said hotel pool:
its quite obvious that the kaistal pics were taken somewhere near the tallest plant on the leftest from behind the glass wall.
with my unexceptional eyes, i see that in the pictures of the pool, the glass wall is panelled in huge rectangles of white frames (im bad at explaining sorry). the glass seems to be flat with no joint or vertical lines, and there’s the wavey whitish patterns on it.
BUT, in the alleged pics theres those vertical joint lines. so yeah where did it come from, i dont know.
and also, lets be honest i’ve never been to this hotel. but from these pics and my average-tier brain, i can process that there’s some kind of pool reception booth near the green and orange dangly thingies ( which i assume are pool floats or some pool thingies that you can rent from the pool reception). this isnt some private pool where nobody can see you. and nah im not going to talk about the would-two-celebs-openly-cozying-together-here logic to all of you logical peeps!
plus, people can access to the larger pool outside from here. not sure if its the only access to go there but people do walk pass this indoor pool area to go to the outside pool. for the more curious mind, go search on youtube, theres a video of people vlogging showing how they went to the outside pool through this area.
so yeah, um, the privacy thing is just some point to ponder but my main point was those vertical joint lines on the glass wall.
this is just from my simple observation and comparison with the pictures of the pool and i concluded that the kaistal pool pictures were edited. so, if they can edit those glass wall perfectly, i have no doubt that they can have fun editing the couple in the pool (with super creative body angle) into the pictures too.
and again, this has no agenda to comment about the couple itself, this just to say that the photos are rigged.

So…this happened. I spent too many hours on it, but here it is: an official Damianos portrait. This is basically exactly how I imagined him in the books. I’m interested to hear how other people pictured him, and how it differs / is similar to this.
[edit: the face scars weren’t ever mentioned in the book, but I like to think scars were pretty common back then, so Damen might’ve have some that were never mentioned. also i just love face scars. And I totally understand why some people think he should look more open. For some reason, though, I always imagined him scowling, looking intimidating, almost violent, just because in some ways (to everyone who wasn’t Laurent of maybe Nik) that’s the vibe he tried to project. People who see him for the first time always described him as intimidating and powerful, and I guess I took that to mean he basically had RBF 24/7 (so: intense brow, strong jaw, powerful neck, etc.) also im bullshitting all the time and feel free to disagree or agree w/ any of this, i welcome it!]
