Beginning DTE Energy natural gas service is as easy as a phone call or email. Your DTE Energy representative can verify you that live in an eligible area. If you are switching to natural gas from liquid propane, your DTE Energy representative can provide an estimated cost for the installation of a service line and meter (if needed).

Who can register online?

Current Residential Customers

Only current DTE Energy residential customers who used a Social Security number to set up service can make an online account through the website.

Current Business Customers

Business customers using a Tax ID number can call 855.DTE.4BIZ Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., to set up an online account.

New Customers

If you are moving to their service territory and require establishing a DTE Energy account and starting gas or electric service, please call 800.477.4747.

Can i suspend my spectrum internet?

When you suspend a line of service, you won't be able to make or receive calls or text messages or access data on the Spectrum Mobile network. If your Device Payment Plan has a balance when you suspend service, you'll still be charged during the suspension period, until your device is paid off.

Temporarily SUSPEND service.

When you're away from home for a long time, you don't need to cancel your service. You can temporarily suspend it for a short time.

Suspending your service puts it on hold until you are ready to use it again. This protects you from the problem of returning equipment, dealing with final bills, and then later, planning a new install and fixing up new equipment.

There's no charge to suspend your service, and you can put your account on hold for as little as 30 days or as long as 6 months. Voluntarily Suspend Your Service

You can temporarily suspend your Spectrum Mobile service for up to 90 days if you won't be using your Spectrum Mobile device(s) for an extended period of time. To suspend your service, please contact at (833) 224-6603.

Resume service

When you're ready to resume service, please contact us at (833) 224-6603.

Once your service resumes, you'll enjoy the same data package you had before.

Important Information

1. If your device is lost or stolen, contact us to suspend your service and lock your device. This will prevent any unauthorized use or charges to your account.

2. When you suspend a line of service, you won't be able to make or receive calls or text messages or access data on the Spectrum Mobile network.

3. If your Device Payment Plan has a balance when you suspend service, you’ll still be charged during the suspension period, until your device is paid off.

4. If you have a Protection Plan for your device(s), you'll still be charged during the suspension period.

5. After 90 days, your service will automatically resume and the card on file will be charged. You'll receive a notification when your service is reinstated.

Moving Your Service

If you are planning to move, firstly visit Spectrum.com to confirm your new address is located in an area where they provide service. You can use the online moving resource to transfer your Spectrum TV, Internet, and Voice services to your new address.

Yes, you can!

If you cancel your AT&T Internet account, you'll still have access to your account as long as your account is in good standing. If there's a balance owed on the AT&T internet account, you'll lose access to the email until it is resolved. To verify your canceled AT&T Internet account is in good standing, chat with them. If you don't follow terms and conditions, the email will be deactivated.

Helpful Tips!

Security Questions - Once you cancel your services, you do not have the ability to reset your email at att.com. It is highly recommended you set up security queries before you cancel - it makes it easier to reset passwords if you forget it!

Merged Email Addresses - If your Yahoo email is tied to your att.net email, you also have the option to unmerge it. The att.net email is deleted once you unmerge the account. You should process the request within 30 days of cancellation.

Tie your email to your mobile account - this may help with password resets within the future

To unmerge the account, follow the steps below.

1. Go to myAT&T, and log in along with your AT&T Member ID and password.

2. Choose Profile > Update My Profile.

3. Under AT&T Email Accounts, choose Account Profile.

4. Next to Member ID, choose Delete Account.

5. Choose OK to confirm.

6. Confirm that the Status at the bottom of the User Info section now reads Disabled. Your email account has been deleted.

7. To continue using your Yahoo email, register to Yahoo mail. Choose the Unmerge button within the bottom right corner of the page.
