Bet you thought that you’d never see a throwback Narragansett can surfing waves in Hull (while ripping a cig). We didn’t either – until Boston-based artist Sean Patrick Watroba (@thankyou_sean) made it a reality. – U.I.

So we haven't bothered to post since, like, 2008 but the following public service announcement warrants it: Tomorrow is the last night to catch "The Innermost Limits of Pure Fun: Psychedelic Surf Films, 1966-1979" at the Harvard Film Archive in Cambridge. Warm weather and mellow peelers collided at Fonz this afternoon -- we could ramble on about it like you would in a creative writing class but our editorial staff has been downsized and no one really cares anyways. Basically, as far as this blog post goes, Donnie ditched work early to snipe a few pixelated surf pics. Enjoi.

No one is denying that Hullwaii is the worst shred blog there is, but at least we have these epic Tim Root skate boss stickers for our non-existent readership. So an email sent yesterday from GoDaddy to our editor reminded us that we still had a blog named Hullwaii. We debated whether or not to just let the domain expire but the forecast called for mellow swell this morning so we decided to renew and usher in the spring surf season with this blurry photo of a longboarder crouching down the line at Fonz (we apologize in advance for future substandard surf pictures to be posted on this blog). Our staff photographer, Donnie D., needs to quit binge watching Riff Raff’s music videos on YouTube and learn how to properly use his new Canon 400MM telephoto lens or dude’s fired.

Still Montreal-cold in Greater Boston and surf's been nonexistent at Fonz. Donnie D. took a break from watching Kai Neville's "Lost Atlas" on loop to grab a slice at Otto. Along the way he  spotted this mellow yellow VW Transporter on a Cambridge side street.

Sliding into the new year with a sloppy hang diez at the Kam Man Foods parking lot in Quincy. Surf's been down on Boston's sliver of sand along the Atlantic but when it picks up this winter staff photog, Donnie D., will be there to snipe photos of bros with his new camera lens. And if our editor ever returns from a bender in Biarritz we might even post a decent article or two. Don't count on it though as a recent correspondence from him mentioned something about moving a trunkload of Moroccan hash, a dominatrix from Berlin, Interpol, and how on an impulse he bought a plane ticket to Iceland after scoping photos of dudes surfing there in an old issue of Stab.

Our editor has been eating tacos, street skating LES, hitting on the Latina hostess at Tacombi, and living in the above VW bus since the blog's last post. So if there's been waves curling at The Fonz he wouldn't know. 

If Hullwaii issued awards for epic grub Taco Party would be a recipient. So track down this roving taco bender on the streets of Boston and order yourself a couple stewed seitan numbers with a side of tortilla chips.

Our ex-founder is a wicked art chav and keeps sending us images of his creations. Since it's been flat in Hull and around Cape Cod and this isn't a real blog we've been reluctantly posting his shit. Thankfully the surf is supposed to pick up next week around New England -- so you count on Hullwaii to feature more substandard photos taken by our photo editor, Donne D., coupled with captions composed by our crew of third-rate Jack Kerouacs. Stay tuned.
