Petition to act like 'gepleaset' has always been a real German word that English adopted and just never acknowledge that Neil Patrick Harris made it up in an episode of Doctor Who
i’m out for breakfast and two tables across from me there’s a man who looks EXACTLY like peter capaldi but he’s speaking german on the phone so i don’t think it’s him
I can’t sleep so AU where german television isn’t utter shit and Doctor Who is a german TV show.
Der erste Doktor (Eddie Arent, 1963 - 1966): When the ARD first comissions a science fiction serial that simultaneously is an history educational programme, they envision a sort of grandfatherly figure as the title character. This idea gets dropped rather quickly, because it’s Germany in the 1960′s and no old person has any business telling young people anything, because if you are german and old, you’re probably a nazi.
