Below is a summary of what it going on, and an opportunity for you to see the first draft of the project. I really hope you like it!

At the moment, it is very difficult for artists, editors, writers etc to cross between the various social media platforms where the Lockwood & Co fandom/LockNation exists. In conjunction with two of the main sections of the fandom, we are creating a directory of all the artists etc and information on which platforms they use, and any sites they use to promote their art. The aim is to link everyone to a LockNation hub site where people can go and look for the type of art they are interested in. All the artists will keep control of their own sites and content. It would just be a link. You can get an idea of how it would work by going to www.locknation.org to see our draft version of the site. It's a bit unfinished at the moment because we need input from all you guys. Artist shops are located in the section called Arif's stores. Profiles of the artists will be location in the Portland Row Kitchen. You'll see what I mean when you get there. Just go to the site and ring the doorbell!

Lockwood & Co Location Map

Just a reminder that for the past 10 months we have been building and maintaining an interactive map of more than 185 locations from the Lockwood & Co TV series and the original books. We research thoroughly so we can add to the locations regularly, including three new pins today.

Our site has walkthroughs for the Barbican Centre and a tour of the Kensal Green Cemetery.

Contrary to popular belief, the Cruel World beach and the Cold Maiden beach are not the same place! They are very close together, however, and there is a pleasant 15 min walk between them. Please don't do the walk on your own at night, and do check the tide timetable if you venture down onto the public areas of the beaches.

We are changing the format of the locations on the George's Gazetteer website. Bear with us while we put it together. So far we have film strips for episodes 1-3. Eventually, you will be able to click on an image and find a page dedicated to that location!

And while we are on the subject, we've hit 185 locations on the map! Phew!

George's Gazetteer UPDATE!

Our intrepid researcher, Ed has been at it again (Thanks Ed!) and has found two more obscure locations from the TV series! Location A contains the cellar where George saves Kipps in the catacombs "under Kensal Green Cemetery". (Spoiler alert! They aren't! It's actually part of Clerkenwell Prison)

Location B is the alley where Lucy argues with Flo. This is very close to the location of Joplin's Flat!

We are doing some redevelopment work to the GG website so that it will be easier for fans to identify the specific scenes we are looking for, so watch this space!

The staff at George’s Gazetteer set a Twitter bingo card / scavenger hunt for attendees and non-attendees of the #LockNationMeetUp2024. Entries closed last Saturday and judging begins on Thursday.
