A year or so ago I called my sister early that morning, when she answered the phone, she said there’s a fire in the harbor! Big Sister was in South Carolina, I’m in San Diego. I do smell smoke and looked outside and saw this amazing glow coming from the harbor in the dark of night. I said goodbye to my sister and dressed quickly. By 3 AM , I was on the other side of the harbor in Coronado at a golf course shooting his breath, taking amazing and yet I knew it was a  historical  photograph!
