Another year without you my sweet Genevieve. I’ve been having sleepless nights because I miss you so much. Many triggers this week, but life just keeps going. You were born on a full moon, and your moon has accompanied me on my drives to work these mornings. I reflect and wonder how amazing you would be! I wonder, what does a six year old like? What do they do? What would interest you? What would be your favorite things as a six year old? Often, I wonder. That’s all that I have left, to wonder. Today is my sons 6th anniversary. This month has been dragging and it has been hard. I still have chosen to love deeply and smile. And sometimes I just didn’t want to get out of bed. Having a miscarriage, giving birth to a micro premie, a still birth or any kind of pregnancy loss, scars you forever. You are left with the what if’s? Who would they be? How would they be. My son should have been 5 this April. I can only imagine the amazing little human being he would be. It will forever hurt to not have him here. But because of Raynor and Genevieve, I am able to love as deep as the ocean and choose kindness. I am grateful to be their mama. I will always celebrate my beautiful angels.
