Prompt: I know you aren’t big on the RVTs but it’s an option lol-

Friede gets more sick after the winter fic with Frankie in it and the RVTs get worried and try to help him (I would say Orla as relationship cause I’m a sucker for Friede x Orla but if you are comfy with it I think it would be really cute to have the kids-especially Liko cause I think their pseudo parent-child relationship is the strongest- help out or something)

(Bonus-Frankie smack talking the RVTs lol)

Thanks for sending this prompt! It was super fun to write. I realized afterword that I actually wrote two different Frankie and Friede winter fics. One where he causes an avalanche, and another where he falls through the ice and is saved by Conia.

I've been meaning to rewrite the avalanche fic to post to my ao3, so I went with that one! For anyone who's already read the original fic, the first ~1.5k are similar, but now there's an additional 3.5k of Friede hurt/comfort and fluff

I went with both Orla/Friede and cute moments with the kids, so I hope it's to your liking ^^

Depends on the emotion. If Frankie is feeling angry, tired, or reserved she's going to stay pretty still and non-expressive. If she's happy, she will dance in place, and if she's anxious, she's going to fidget with whatever she's wearing or holding

texture: Does your OC favor any specific kinds of cloth or textures? Is there anything they can't wear or don't like?

Frankie likes breathable fabrics. She prefers clothing made from cotton, wool or leather since those materials tend to hold up longer and be more comfortable for her. Fabrics she dislikes would be clingy/hot, like athletic fabrics and fleece

favorite: Does your OC have a favorite article of clothing or accessory? What is it? What's the meaning behind it?

She doesn't really hold sentimental value to any item. The closest thing might be her hair clips since a younger family member is the reason she started wearing them, but she wouldn't be particularly upset if something happened to them. She'd just get new ones ^^

I went ahead and updated Frankie's reference! She now officially has three pokemon. Though, unlike with her first two partners, she wasn't the one who named the Klefki

Instead, Criminal got that nickname from her coworkers after an unnamed incident took place (we don't have to talk about it)

Despite being in the Explorers, Frankie does not battle and will get offended if people try to battle her! This is because her Magnemite and Togekiss are service pokemon who primarily help her with day to day tasks. There's more information about them here for anyone interested ^^

Overall, Frankie is a weak link when it comes to being a trainer, but she makes up for it by being an absolute menace in every other department. She is also not afraid of hand to hand combat, though she's notably not very good at it

I hold a good deal of frustration towards trans friends I have who complain about being misgendered, then continually refer to me as "they" to "play it safe"

Yeah! I have around seventeen Horizons fics posted on my ao3 at the moment, and maybe four of those fics include Frankie ^^

Here's a little collection of Friede and Frankie drawings I've made recently! That small blue thing is my Horizons OC

Frankie is with the Explorers, but she's not really much of a threat so she mostly just annoys Friede by virtue of not having personal space or manners

#my current ao3 wordcount for Horizons is 128k and frankie's word count probably makes 20-23k of that #i usually have oneshot ideas for her character but i feel bad posting so many separate fics for one OC #since i generally assume people don't really care about OC works on ao3 #frankie fans are welcome to prove me wrong tho!#i love writing her so if someone sends me a frankster prompt or nice comment i will go sicko mode (pos)
