this goose is rather proud of its exterior as it should be. and before you honk at me yes it is true that some geese choose to express their flamboyant personalities in similar ways to hoomans. however this is not merely a trend inspired by hooman society and anyone who postures that such is the case should consider the following. check your privileges.

this is a common misconception among hoomans. however this is merely the linguistic structure of our language and our accent. many geese are rather well-versed in the hooman language of their home area. myself as you may have noticed i hail from an area in which english is a prominent language among hoomans. i dare say i could fool any hooman in writing that i am one of them. however in speech it is very difficult for us geese to speak without our rather heavy accents. thus hoomans often fail to realize that what may sound like a regular honk is in fact a phrase in their own language but spoken with a goose accent.

what a curious little fellow. i dearly hope this goose is not about to be bamboozled by a hooman with crumbs. it is a sight i see much too often. let us imagine that this particular goose is not enchanted by a loaf of bread but rather overjoyed to see a friend nearby. some stories do have happy endings after all.

this good goose has been elected as peacekeeper of its park as is clearly discernible by the badge on its chest. a hooman comparison would be the sheriff. the pride this goose takes in its work is rather apparent. note the steady gaze and the straight posture. note also the vigilance with which this goose regards its assigned area. this goose is on an important mission.

note the position of this goose's feet. now regard its intent gaze. it needs to relieve itself and politely waits for the photographer to grant it the attention it seeks so it can ask to be excused. unbeknownst to this goose the photographer does not possess the capacity to understand its civil honks. i fear it may be waiting a while.

for every hooman photographer who fails to capture the head of a goose within the frame there will always be one who fails to capture the body. what might this goose be doing. where might it be heading. is it even heading at all or is it simply standing still. does it have legs to stand on. or is it perhaps sitting or lying down. we do not know. all we know is that this goose has just seen something horribly frightening.

here we see an overjoyed goose frolicking through a field. as it has yet to learn how to best use a camera it has taken a rather unflattering close up. that is of no consequence however because the joy of this goose is all that matters. let this goose be a powerful reminder to spend time on what you love. go out and frolic in whatever metaphorical fields capture your interest. be your own goose.

these geese are attending a public gathering which may or may not include free dinner. the raised gazes indicate that a speaker of some sort is addressing this gaggle. perhaps this is a gathering for the increasingly popular political party which calls itself the goose emancipation endeavour syndicate. gees for short. as for the front goose it needs no explanation. we have all met someone like this goose before. the best thing to do is simply to ignore its presence.

seeing as it has been disturbed in the midst of its afternoon ground examination this goose has a rather reasonable response towards its disruptor. hoomans often ridicule us geese for our fixation with the ground. some geese such as the one pictured in this photograph it would seem take this personally. myself i only feel pity for those hoomans. they should consider the health benefits of dedicating oneself to the simple joys in life. perhaps they might be happier if they examined the ground as adamantly as a goose from time to time.

a goose in motion. it has its gaze set straight ahead and is heading towards its dreams at full speed. note the decisive posture and the refusal to let anything stop it in its path. follow the example of this goose and you may just reach your aims in life.

if the creature in the box identifies as a goose or as two geese i shall be the first one to apologize. the same shall be said for if it was born a goose or two geese but currently identifies as a dog. or if it identifies as none of the above. however i ask you all to consider who stands to benefit from declaring the inhabitant of the box to be two geese. ask yourself what tumblr user helloiamduck may intend to achieve by spreading such confusion within the anatidae community. a fox should not be on the jury at a goose's trial and a duck should not be the judge. please think critically about what you read on the web. now i ask you to refrain from further discussion on what the inhabitant of the box may or may not identify as unless the inhabitant itself chooses to come forward and tell us. however please do not go after helloiamduck with your beaks ajar. let us not sow any more seeds of suspicion in our community.

a stunning and accurate representation of the majestic goose. doubtlessly the art at hand intends to honor the mystical and transcendental qualities of our species. mayhaps it is even a portrayal of my humble self. an honor akin to none other. truly this hooman has achieved enlightenment. it needs no further education on the way of geese.

Golden years

normally it would gladden me to see such a joyous face. however i fear this goose is about to be bamboozled. i have seen it many times before. a young unsuspecting goose is taken in by the friendly appearance of a hooman holding a loaf of bread of some capacity. crumbs are dropped to the ground in a clever trail for the unfortunate goose to follow. only for the joyful tale to end in tragedy when the hooman proceeds to eat the loaf for itself while forcing the goose to watch appalled. never have i seen anyone with an appetite comparable to that of a hooman holding a loaf of bread in a park. this goose is about to learn a valuable lesson. for now however let us push that thought aside and enjoy the eager joy and warm trust abundant in this image. it truly is a contagious emotion to behold.

this is the expression of a goose who has something to say. what that may be in this particular circumstance is impossible for us to know. it may be to inform the photographer that it dropped a valuable item on the ground outside. it could perhaps be to warn of an approaching storm. or possibly this polite goose wished to come inside and dry its feathers for a moment or two. had the hooman allowed it inside this might have led to an experience neither of the two would soon forget. it is unfortunate to see a hooman so adamant to remain uninformed of the pleasant nature of the goose.

why hello there my anonymous goose friend. what a pleasure to receive your honks yet what a shame it is that so many of us geese are as yet afraid to reveal our identities to the hooman public. how i long for a world in which we can all stand strong and proud without fear. however i do not blame you my dear goose for choosing to protect yourself in a world of goose prejudice. now as for your question. you may rehonk my posts as much and as many times as you like. i do wish to spread the true way of geese as far as possible so that we may educate those who most need it. i deeply appreciate your aid in this endeavor. best honks from louise.

while this creature's appearance and given name may confuse you this is not in fact a goose. the trick is to examine the facial area. a clever hint that the creature is not what it presumes to be is the absence of a beak. feathers are another vital feature to study closely. at first glance the first image above gives the appearance of delicate feathers however the second image reveals the telltale details of fur. lastly geese usually have two legs rather than four. perhaps if there were two geese in the box there might be four legs peeking out. although that would require a second beak as well. the only conclusion can be that this creature is neither one goose nor two geese. were it the case that this was a goose it would likely find the box a quite charming and comfortable abode however.

i was informed that i neglected to mention the good goose in the background of this image. once again an incompetent hooman is to blame for the atrocious beheading of a poor oblivious goose. it has been beheaded but where might it be headed. its relaxed gait implies that it is absently strolling forward while pondering some distant peculiarity. without the eyes visible in the image it is difficult to tell. it might also be that it was currently in the midst of a step when whatever stunned our main goose captured its lackadaisical attention. perhaps the hooman who photographed this moment made a conscious decision to crop it so that the truth could not be reflected in the eyes of this goose. this implies that a hooman was indeed the cause of the initial disruption which enraptured the two geese. the plot thickens.

this goose is too stunned to even honk. its expression is clearly one of astonishment. however the subject of its gaze is unknown to us. perhaps the goose is outraged by something outside the frame of the image which we cannot see. a hooman may be the cause of the disruption. or perhaps it is revolted by the lack of propriety in the goose society of today. we can only imagine what shocking sight lurks just outside the reach of our vision. i dare say no one knows but this goose.
