WELCOME TO THE INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY CHALLENGE!
By my fault, this challenge is super late and only three days long, from the sixth to the eighth. However, I am already planning for next year so it should be much better and everyone should have a lot more time. Thanks to @come-along-pond, a new admin on this blog, for doing everything but the gif and the post itself lol.

Everything is up to the creators interpretation, although I have tried to include some examples for help!

Challenges Below
Day One: "I'm a damsel, I'm in distress, I can handle this." (March 6th)
Everyone had someone they looked up to growing up, for lots of us, that was someone in the media, and for lots of girls across the country, they came in the shapes of Disney characters. For this day, we want you to show which female media icon your OC looked up to as a little girl. Whether that be Megara, Princess Leia or even Katniss Everdeen.
Day Two: Girls Love Each Other Like Animals (March 7th)
“We don’t guard ourselves like we do with boys”. Today is all about female relationships! Which women held your OC together in times of need? Who loved her when she needed it most? Was it, her mother, friends, partners? Or even a girl she met in the bathroom who fixed her makeup and told her not to get back with their ex.
Day Three: "In March I'll be rested, caught up and human." (March 8th)
Happy International Women’s day! Women have influenced society from its beginning, and a large part of that has been through literature. We want to know what quote/s by women represent your OC! Or even, what quotes or lyrics does your OC use to ground herself. Feel free to use any female made quote, it doesn’t have to be from poetry or a book!

OC Valentine's Challenge: Day Five: Enemies to Lovers
A small drabble about Arith's complicated feelings about Iriel. In the very early days of their agreement.
"And she thinks she's sooo perfect, batting her long lashes at me, going on and on about doing good deeds and caring about humanity..." Arith huffed before he took another drink.
The other people he was drinking with rolled their eyes, some of them shaking their heads.
"What?" He asked, raising a brow.
He could feel the alcohol in his system doing as intended, making him tipsy for now. However, with the way the night was going, it seemed like there was more alcohol in his future.
"We've been listening to you go on and on, you like this woman and cannot stand it." One of his human friends—acquaintances Arith would claim—sighed and took another sip of his drink, frankly tired of his nonsense.
Arith was still learning to get along with the humans. One thing he found relatively easy was getting drinks with them. At this point in time, there wasn't as much to do except drink. Maybe hunt, though Arith preferred to do that by himself.
The demon stared in disbelief at the man sitting across from him. "Excuse me?"
"You're clearly driven to obsession with this... um... Ariel?"
"Iriel." Arith corrected.
"Ah-ha! Proving my point. 'Enemies' my arse..." He muttered.
"Stay out of it, Ayers." Arith glanced down at his drink, feeling flustered, and not just from the alcohol.
"I would if it wasn't the only thing you spoke of." He gave him a look.
Instead of responding, Arith took another sip of his drink, trying to ignore the thoughts of Iriel swimming in his head.

OC NEW YEARS CHALLENGE 2023-2024. day two - december 27th. I POLISH UP REAL NICE.
Hope Regal AKA Rapunzel and Viviana.
These are the ocs which had HUGE revamps this year, not just their face claims changed. Hope was an OC I'd fallen out of love with, but after seeing @carmens-garden and @curious-kittens-ocs' OUAT OCs, I decided to try and revamp her and now with a new face and love interest, I'm in love with her. Viviana stayed untouched until Good Omens S2 came out, when she actually had two transformations and became an Aziracrow ship.
Sometimes we get tired or bored of an oc or an edit, but there are still things we love about them. To reignite our love for these things, we’re going to revise and revamp. Choose an oc, a story, or an edit to refine and enhance to its fullest potential.

WELCOME TO THE OC NEW YEARS CHALLENGE!
Since the winter challenges struck out, we're crawling home. Luckily, the new years oc event is here and hopefully it will be the toast of the town. So before we all have to clean the glitter off the floor after the party, we're going to hold onto the memories of 2023 and looking forward to 2024. This event comes from @aliverse (me) and @elmunson with suggestions and feedback from the OC Challenges & Potluck discord, and it spans from the 26th of December 2023 to the 1st of January 2024. With the hope that you may never become a stranger to the oc community, let's go over the rules and then get to the challenges!
Rules

Day One: What A Tangled Web We Weave
On the first day, let's take part in one of my favorite trends this year—web weaving! Weave a captivating web incorporating quotes, images, screencaps, and more for your OC. If you're not familiar with the concept of web weaving, here's an account with a lot of examples.
Day Two: I Polish Up Real Nice
Sometimes we get tired or bored of an oc or an edit, but there still things we love about them. To reignite our love for these things, we're going to revise and revamp. Choose an oc, a story, or an edit to to refine and enhance to its fullest potential.
Day Three: In My ＿ Era
On the third day, let's reflect on the defining periods that have shaped either us or our original characters. Despite the initial impression, and my well known obsession, this is inspired by The Eras Tour but doesn't have anything to do with her.. We delve into the various eras within our OCs' lives, whether categorized by tv show season, movie, age, or any other criteria you can think of. Alternatively, share insights about the current era your in as a creator, like "in my hunger games oc era" or "in my gifset era".
Day Four: Everything New
Now that the studios have stopped being bitches, we can acknowledge all the remarkable releases of 2023 (a special shoutout to the talented individuals who contributed to their excellence). On day four, craft something inspired by a creation that emerged this year, whether it's an entirely new series or just a fresh installment in an existing one.
Day Five: Don't You Forget About Me
Though 365 days sounds like a long time, it doesn't always feel that way. In the midst of our activities this year, some things may have been unintentionally overlooked. Fortunately, there's still time to make up for it. Take this opportunity to craft something for an OC that took a backseat this year, bring to life that edit you've been yearning to create all along, or share that chapter you've been gradually working on throughout the year.
Day Six: In With The New
Let's not do out with the old, but we could certainly do in with the new. For day six, introduce a brand new oc or story you hope to be your newest muse for 2024.
Day Seven: Exchange The Experience
Tidings, tinsel, and a year of beginnings. It's start of a new chapter of our lives, especially for our original characters. Be sure to celebrate this new chapter by signing up for the OC Potluck New Years exchange and spreading joy.

𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐆… 𝐌𝐘 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐒 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑, 𝐙𝐀𝐙𝐙𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐍
❝ Anyone residing in Hell could have told you that the demon Zazzadon hated Heaven. Not that anyone else down below was exactly fond of the place, but most Hell-dwellers at most treated Heaven with a sort of vague contempt, the Great War that had resulted in so many fallen angels long enough ago that most demons only responded to mentions of it with an eye roll and a slight sneer. But Zazzadon was different; she loathed Heaven and all its angel residents, practically spit on the ground when anyone brought it up, and had often mentioned over the centuries that she couldn't wait for the upcoming Great War so that she could finally drive a weapon into a certain condescending archangel. No one in Hell knew exactly why she hated Heaven so much more than the rest of them, but it made her one of the most skilled procurers of souls for their Dark Master, so no one really questioned it, either.
That changed somewhat, however, when Zazzadon's friend Crowley sought her help attempting to avert the Armageddon (she couldn’t quite tell you why in the Heaven she’d agreed to that, but it was probably because Crowley was her only real friend in the universe), and she was, for the first time since she’d fallen, forced to work with an angel. She’d been absolutely determined to hate Aziraphale at first, and he didn’t exactly think very highly of her either, but somehow the fussy little book-loving angel to worm his way into Zazzadon’s good graces, and though they certainly wouldn’t call themselves friends, by the time the Apocalypse was firmly in adverted territory and the angel and demon had avoided being executed, they were at the very least friendly.
However, having an angel that she bordered on considering a friend did not change one bit Zazzadon’s boiling hatred of where that angel had come from, and months later, when Crowley reluctantly informed her that the fucking archangel Gabriel was currently residing in Aziraphale’s bookshop with supposedly no memory of who he was, it was all she could do not to storm in there with a stolen hellfire weapon and drive it right down the bastard’s throat. She did, however, eventually get angry enough to storm into the shop ready to let Aziraphale know exactly what she thought of him sheltering someone who’d been only too happy to let him burn in hellfire…
Only to find the only other angel she couldn’t bring herself to hate, the one who was, in a way, responsible for her Fall, the one who she knew for a fact had no memory of her because of the former archangel Aziraphale was harbouring, sitting in one of the shop’s plush armchairs awkwardly holding a cup of tea.
Now it seems Zazzadon is once again caught up in the ventures of her demon friend and angel sort-of friend, unable to find Gabriel anyway, thoroughly annoyed with Aziraphale’s bumbling new human assistant whose face doesn’t seem to stick in her head, and desperately trying to make Muriel remember her, all the while trying to keep up the illusion that she is a loyal servant of Hell who no longer has any association with Crowley while at the same time trying to throw their forces off the scent. It’s a thin tightrope to walk, one that could get her thrown into a tub of holy water or erased from the Book of Life if she trips and falls, and she sort of wants to discorporate both Aziraphale and Crowley for always dragging her into their dangerous undertakings.
But if there’s even a chance she can get Muriel to remember her, to have the being she loves most in the universe look at her the way they used to… maybe the potential of evaporating in a writhing, screaming mess of holy water and demon goo will be worth it. ❞

OC HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE 2023. day seventeen + eighteen - october 18th. Death is a Mystery and Burial is a Secret + What's The Opposite Of Miracles.
I went very abstract with this interpretation lol. But have Gaia and her connection to cemeteries, and Viviana and her connection to churches.
(Location: Cemetery or Tomb) Cemeteries and tombs are the places we put our loved ones to rest, but in horror movies we find that final resting places are not so restful after all. Whether it’s ghosts, zombies, psychotic gravekeepers, or grave robbers ensuring no witnesses; how do your ocs go from mourning to trying to survive.
(Location: Places of Worship) Places of worship are supposed to be places of good, where people go for guidance and safety, places full of good beings and devoid of sin. But what if the bad beings sneak in or the sinless place is just a hiding place for those full of sin?
