FWO Season 1 sucks so much. it’s so bad. I’m going to have to go george lucas on it and do a remake some day.
(I’m trying to work on the FWO season recap videos a bit.)
I think the overall events still work with the current canon. Hard to mess up. Queen starts the episode off with a match against Pinkie. Then Raksi shows up and challenges her to a tag team match. Queen scrambles to find a partner, eventually resorting to use The Sprout who she had found in a casket. All good.
The only issue is that the show starts off with bullshit. Then it has two matches in between with WWE wrestlers because we only had 4 people lol.
FWO Season 1 is mostly an experiment really. I was just seeing if I could stream the game with some bullcrap plot I typed in and see if anybody would watch it. By season 2 I started having an overall plot and plan for it, though I’ve made some mistakes in terms of wording and language that hurts it a little bit. Season 2 would definitely need a remaster too, but it would take a lot less reworking of the plot and characterization. One thing I did fairly well with was one of FWO’s most poorly received episodes. Episode 10 of season 2 in which Freya is at Oz looking for the location of FWO. My next post will be about it and Freya in general and a terrible awful gosh dang thing I did in season 3 that I regret to this day!
Other than Deepseed and a horrible decision I made about narration text for episode six I think season 3 is going to hold up fairly well.

These are the magazine covers used as posters in Vince McMahon’s office. Vince McMahon seemed to gain a lot from the creation of wrestling, even given credit to creating it!
The magazines while highly respected tend to have extremely poor graphic design. It’s said that this is by the best graphics designer in the world. I suppose since wrestling is so important in the world of FWO those who become graphics designers must not be very good at it.

Eagle eyed viewers may have noticed what was written on Daphaknee’s bullet when she shot Shellbringer!
It appears Dr. Fist’s reputation will take a hit after this, since Void seemed relatively fine after being shot...I wonder why?

Sometimes recording FWO cutscenes can be a challenge.
ALTERNATE TITLE: A rare look inside the production of FWO Season 4 Episode 4 as the Golden Queen does physical training exercise to get in character.
Pot McMahon (Director): I thought to myself, holy crap. Where does Queen begin and The Golden Queen end?
It is also said she would often paint on the camera lens with “I killed Raksi with The Golden Flame.”
Pot McMahon: I sometimes had to stop directing. I just got so scared.

Now that it’s been a little bit since Season 4 Part 1 ended, what are your thoughts!? I’m sure you’ve been thinking about nothing but FWO since!

FWO Commentary team ANNOUNCEMENT!
Hello, friends. Last night I was having a fever dream, I saw fire, I saw death, I saw destruction, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY I saw a new way to record FWO commentary!
Right now our current method is me recording the skype conversation, which is problematic for a few reasons.
1: It sounds really bad sometimes. People come in and out, weird sound effects happen.
2: It’s a pain to get the audio levels balanced. For some reason my audio is always quieter compared to the lovely windpipes of my colleagues, and it kinda throws off the commentary audio levels on occasion
3: Along with the audio issues sometimes, it also serves the whims of whatever our internet is doing. Which means some of the stuff we say might get lost sometimes.
So, to completely rid ourselves of this problem, I propose the following solution.
THE BEST IDEA EVER THOUGHT OF BY ANYONE EVER THAT HAS NEVER ONCE BEEN DONE BEFORE
We record the audio tracks ourselves.
How can I, a simple scavenger do this?
1: Download http://audacityteam.org/download/
2: Test it out, do a test recording yourself. Find the best microphone placement, make sure your voice isn’t too quiet...or too loud. (If it sounds distorted or crackling when you’re talking SLIGHTLY louder, you need to lower the mic settings a bit)
3: When we record commentary for episode 4, I will say to begin your recordings now! Which means clicking the record button. You don’t have to worry about making sure it’s exactly synced up when I say go, I’ll just have everyone say a test word so that I can sync them myself later.
4: When the episode is finished. stop the recording and click save. I suppose FLAC would be preferred, but a high quality mp3 would be fine too.
5: Upload it to a copy folder I’ll make.
Then I’ll arrange them myself and the commentary will be a lot better! The audio quality and audio levels will be so much better it’s ridiculous.

Anemone
Hello, dear readers! Due to some complications, my weekly recaps haven’t exactly been weekly, but I did want to share this bit of knowledge a reader mailed in after episode 3.
Eagle eyed viewers may have noticed the beautiful flowers left by Ozaline’s bedside, with a note that only says “I cannot wait to see you blossom. -TFQ”
Tumblr media
Well, a reader who would like to remain anonymous sent in a little trivia about them! I’ve totally google searched to make sure this is accurate as possible.
Flowers are a form of communication in the Victorian times. One can look at the anemone as a symbol of dying love or departure of loved a one to the “point of no return”.  Mainly derived from Greek mythology, it relates to Aphrodite mourning the death of Adonis – the love of her life. Anemones sprung out from her tears.
Perhaps it's because of this magical and prophetic tales that today in the language of flowers, anemones represent anticipation.
Time will tell what it is The Forgotten Queen wants from Oz, but it is this humble writer’s opinion that it is nothing good.

DIRTSHEEEEEETZ/Death Valley
Welcome everyone to DIRTSHEEEEETZ!
By Danielle Maltdrink.
Dear readers, it has been some time. I want to first thank you for waiting it out for a whole year! I know those of you outside of FWO are becoming increasingly interested in its happenings. The buzz for FWO galaxy wide is reaching new heights! I will do my best to relay information to all of you.
Season 4 of FWO opens up with the words of a prophecy, and text explaining the concept of THE PROMISED DAY. It’s interesting that this opens up the episode. The Promised Day is a well known myth…mostly a children’s story. It speaks of a day when Wrestling will unite everyone in all the worlds to go to one place, and then…it’s vague. Something is supposed to happen. Something big. I suppose we’ll never know, dear readers. Unless it actually happens! (lol)
We are then introduced to THE GOLDEN QUEEN, who tells everyone in the FWO that all that she wants…is to leave. She further explains that the only way to do so is to kill STEPHANIE MCMAHON, Vince McMahon’s daughter. The Golden Queen cannot kill Stephanie McMahon herself. She must enlist the services of someone in the FWO to do the deed.
If I’m getting this right, which I hope I am…the situation is as follows:
The Golden Queen and Stephanie McMahon cannot harm one another.
ANYONE could kill Stephanie McMahon, but it appears killing The Golden Queen is more complicated than that.
But I’m getting ahead of myself. The Golden Queen needed Joan Cena, The Prototype to kill Vince McMahon, who was the first half of attaining her freedom. Once Stephanie McMahon dies, she could leave. Raksi, I’m assuming was only a pawn to The Golden Fist. She needed her to create The Prototype, but beyond that she outlived her usefulness. …As did Joan, once she killed Vince McMahon. The Golden Queen offers Sprout the chance to kill Stephanie, saying that while she cannot bring back Queen, (due to being…erased by The Golden Fist taking her body) she CAN bring back Planet Sprout. She then states that a war is coming, and that she wants them to be on the right side.
Tumblr media
It ends with her announcing that a match will take place to determine the new FWO Champion. Deepseed asks why she cares about that at all, and The Golden Fist replies that she does because…she created wrestling.
Huh.
I digress. Dirtsheeetz is not known for being a recap show, and I’m not going to start now. More importantly than what happened, is what it means. And that’s going to be my focus.
It was finally revealed who was sending the emails to Boilerplate, promising him he could kill God. It was…Stephanie McMahon. Boilerplate seems to be their first recruit, joining their side in the mission to kill The Golden Fist. SHELLFIRE also joins, after a match with Jah’erc and Shuu.
Speaking of Jah’erc (I’m told there’s some controversy with the spelling of her name, but for consistency’s sake I’m going to go with the spelling given in the nameplate.) WHAT. A. DEBUT. I have never seen anything like it! Becoming the FWO Champion on her first night in the company! Defeating Boobs, Deepseed, Sprout, and Daphaknees. IN HER FIRST NIGHT. AFTER A MATCH WITH SHELLFIRE.
I have never seen a more dominate wrestler in my life. She is our FWO Champion, and by god, who’s going to be able to take it from her?
Anyway, at the end of the episode we join up again with Oz and Meownicorn, driving against a raging storm. They crash, and they find themselves in the land of Oz. But my god, everything about it has changed. Instead of Meownicorn’s mother, there is only The Forgotten Queen. I couldn’t catch much from what she said. Her ramblings are vague and disturbing. She did state that Meownicorn’s Mother is dead, and that all his questioning is just forcing her to be blunt, since it should have been obvious.
She then states that she can control the “Notes” of people around her, and make them do as she wishes. She sees the monster in people. She uses her power, and Oz wakes up to see a monstrous Meownicorn howl in terror.
THINGS I NOTICED
• Freya and the Golden Queen appear to have some connection. Freya asks her why she “did that” to her, and Queen blows her off.
• I suppose I should mention the bomb, the Second Contingency. A bomb capable of destroying the entire planet and creating a black hole to prevent the Golden Queen from ever leaving FWO. Needless to say the people living on that planet, us, for example, will probably not end well if that were to happen.
• What is “The Mark?” Does it have to do anything with the Mark that appeared on Vince McMahon, and Stephanie for a brief moment in this episode? Why does Boiler need that Mark? She has been promising him a way to kill God for a long time, since season 2, so why would he agree to obtain a Mark that makes it so that he can’t hurt her? Could something be different about it?
See you next time. I hope.
