I dyed my hair a week and a half ago with lavender ion and I left it in for 3 hours. It's a silvery purple blue and I really love it! I also really like Clairol Jazzy semi perm hair dye in Icicle. It looks silver on the tube but it comes out with nice purpley shades

my hair is a golden/ dirty blonde color and i'm nervous about bleaching it. are there any other ways to lighten it that you would suggest?
the best way to lighten your hair is to get it bleached, but if you're worried go to a salon!

I'm a cosmetologist with lavender hair and have a couple tips for the girl who's ion lavender didn't stick! When she says almost white how close are we talking? Light yellow or yellow? I recommend if she wants it to really stick and be the right color go to the salon but if you can't I have more tips for at home.

To the person that used ion brilliance lavender: My hair was bleached to white and I used it too! My hair turned an ugly blue-grey color after like a week so I mixed it with conditioner and ion brilliance magenta and use it as conditioner in the shower every other day! I hope this helps!
