Little John, following his brother Arthur’s footsteps when it’s time to feed the horses! (click for larger version)
This is the image I used for my cards this year! It was based on a pencil drawing I posted about a year ago. Also trying out a different coloring style.
if kieran went to the saint denis bank robbery his mask would have been those comically realistic horse masks
the REAL reason he didn’t come along is he told dutch that that’s the only mask he would wear and he couldn’t me him take if off so they left him behind
writing down “had a frozen lasagna for dinner. it was subpar” in my diary and thinking smugly about how i’m recording the common lives of 2024 for future anthropologists
do you even understand their time period? how do people not understand that yes, cheating is very scandalous now, but it was so so so much worse back in the early 1900s, especially for married women. a married woman would never ever just go out and cheat on their husband, because they were putting literally everything at risk. do you honestly think that abigail marston, desperate of a quiet, legal, normal life with her husband and son, would go and commit adultery, knowing she could lose jack and john, her job, her money, her protection and even face time in prison? how can people hate abigail so much that they refuse to see that logic and decide she is a cheater. well because theyre sexist men, we know that. even if abigail and john were not legally married, in the eyes of themselves and both of their employments, they were. abigail loves john more than everything, we constantly see that. she takes him back after he abandons her for a year, and only leaves because he is undeniably putting her and jack in danger, even then she really does not want to leave him and still completely loves him. and people honestly think shes just going to risk losing all of that to go commit adultery in a town she had literally just moved into.
