the nonbinary urge to grow your hair out, dress femme, lose weight, suck in your stomach, wear makeup, to fit society's idea of womanhood all the while tearing yourself apart from the inside, carving away the parts of yourself you don't like and other people don't like, to push them away, even though it's killing you, but it kills you more to be yourself because really it matters more how you come across to the people at school who don't even know your name than it does to feel genuine.
