It was a quick agreement making Madge's head spin slightly. She had thought talking him into their lunch table would take a lot more work and convincing. It wasn't like the royal we were anymore appealing as moldy bread. But things were worse than fake friends in district twelve. She didn't know what it was too starve, but she also didn't close her eyes. People in brightly lit places could rarely see in the dark. But she was trying. How he had busted his knee like this was beyond her understanding though she was always more delicate boned herself. She was glad he hadn't asked how a mayor's daughter knew healing so well. She knew Katniss's mother was pretty good, but going to learn seemed out of her element or her role. Fantasizing about Gale was already enough of a foil. A slightly wet laugh. "If you insist on a peace offering of bread, I can't stop you I suppose, but it is not required." she countered. Hospitable was something most couldn't afford in 12 though it made her heart beat easier. "Your telling me that you don't take all your girlfriends to the seamstress? I'm kidding though the idea of you being sat into a corner with knitting needles is an interest take." Before he could overly brace, she pulled the fabric tight against his skin whispering a silent apology.

She almost felt bad about that or calling him peeta without asking first even if he hadn’t seemed to care. didn’t he have sisters? “If you must repay me, join us for lunch at school tomorrow, but you don’t need too.” she says evenly. though her eyes don’t lift to see whatever pity he might hold for such a request. “Stop selling yourself short. Clothes are replaceable. People- sadly- are not. And your doing fine. I just want to tie it to staunch the bleeding and promote healing. It might pull slightly. And i’d rather not be kicked in the face.”

Jeremiah had known Cameron since they were kids. She had a certain way about her that made you want to join in her orbit. Her sun kissed blonde hair all the more inviting as those big doe eyes. He had thought it unrequited. Never had the dark haired boy thrown the first punch. But this man was getting to handsy and his jealous had got the better of him.
