The Evermore Grimoire: The Elements
The Earth Element is represented by the diverse topographical features found all over the planet, including forests, fields, caves, rocks, valleys, and gardens. This element is associated with abundance, prosperity, and strength. Not only is earth the source and sustainer of plant and animal life, but it has also provided the clay and minerals with which humans have made tools, and the trees and stone we’ve used to build our homes and other structures. Nonetheless, Earth’s energy also has a destructive side, which may be experienced as earthquakes, avalanches, or even mudslides. It can also combine with the element Water to absorb it or be carved out by it, depending on the amount of each, and the same can essentially be said of its relationship with the other elements, Fire and Air. Overall, earth is the most grounding of the elements with its power keeping us calm and centred in the midst of life’s chaotic twists and turns.
