i didn't look into their relationship fully, since these questions felt more right while reading. let me know if you want me to dive further into their dynamic and what happened. (update: right after posting i got asked to read more on their relationship so i will soon 🤍 stay tuned for that!)
was there any truth to the jimin + jeongyeon rumors?
based on tarot. i do not know these idols personally. energies are always changing. what i say is NOT straight fact. pls take it with a grain of salt!
was there any beef between them?

not to the extent of which it was made out to be. a lot of it was projection, people strongly pushing their own desired narrative on it.
they tried their best to ignore the rumors, but i think this all happened during a time where they might've been in a talking or flirty stage of some kind. so it caught them off guard and made things even more awkward between them. they knew their every move was gonna be overanalyzed, so it made things.. just awkward, best way to describe it.
how did jimin feel about the rumors?

he was being very cautious. at first, he was taken aback by all the sudden talk. he felt like he was being watched way too closely and it was a little silly. this entire discourse made him realize how the community will just buy into any story if it's in their interest, and almost.. ignore actual reality, essentially not even care about it. the idea of the beef was more interesting than what actually happened behind closed doors, in his eyes.
it made him once again realize these are the things that come with being a public figure. i believe due to him being the more experienced idol out of the two, it didn't affect him all that much. he knew how to deal with things of this nature much better than jeongyeon.
still, i got the 3 of swords and kept asking what the reason is (since i did not get a "sad" vibe from him at all), and i believe he just didn't like how people started being so nosy about him and a person he was talking to. they probably were getting to know each other, things were still fresh anyway, so he felt the timing was just bad.
how did jeongyeon feel about the rumors?

oh wow. jeongyeon definitely felt much stronger about it. it lowkey seemed to have messed her up.
the swords lead me to believe she thought a lot about it, a lot of anxiety on her part. she did not like all this back and forth talk about it at all. the 10 of swords is telling me, she just felt like she couldn't really do anything about the rumors. like there's no way out of it, no matter what she does or how she acts. people will continue to talk and everything will be misconstrued or matched to their fantasies in some way.
also, i believe it happened during a time where she had a lot of hope for their connection to blossom into something more. she genuinely seemed to have liked him, a lot of wishful thinking. so similarly to jimin, she thought the timing of it all was very unlucky, unfair almost.
idk, she gives me very self-victimizing and overly dramatic vibes. i can almost see her crying to her friends about it like.. "why would it happen now? while i was finally getting close to this guy i like and sht is awkward for me anyway?" very emotional girl for sure ☹

Something about reading/watching Penelope being completely ignored or bullied (or both!) by almost every notable member of the Ton who isn’t a Bridgerton or Lady Danbury and still being called petty and self absorbed for using the only influence she has to protect the people she loves in a way that she sees as a lesser evil even if it still hurts them (in a much less permanent way than the alternatives) is truly an interesting thing to behold.

One of the things I think we don't pay enough attention to is how hurt Penelope is when colin leaves? He announced he's leaving and this is Pen's face (ignore the words)
And then when he did leave she cried, and even Nic said that she's crying 95% over Colin leaving and 5% over her dad
And I think we don't focus enough on how much it hurts Pen to watch colin go, especially in fanfic, and I wonder if we'll see this theme play out in s3 a little bit more so the moment he chooses to "stay" is more powerful for the both of them.

i really love fics that emphasize how Hannibal is a bit of a stalker. Like, like we see him snooping around Will's house and opening shit that he has no business messing with. God knows how many times he broke into Will's house that we never see onscreen. We know that he must stalk his victims to some degree to grab them at opportune times. He's a hunter.
But also I just love the less creepy/dangerous sense of him stalking, and more the nosy/embarrassingly obsessed side of him stalking. Bonus points for fics where Will notices and just writes it off as one of Hannibal's eccentricities. I think the fic Mating Habits of the European Cannibal on ao3 is the fic I'm thinking of with that premise. Like Hannibal being a bit of a stalker and it being hilarious
(Also why I think An Unhealthy Obsession by the Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra is a big Hannibal song)

what really happened between bts jimin & twice jeongyeon?

the situation:
this connection definitely started off as a relationship with very strong feelings, at least for one of them & in this case, i think it’s jeongyeon. i think there’s a chance she may have even seen jimin as her “first love.” they seem to be very different people personality wise that managed to get along… until they didn’t.
what happened?
one of them or both of them wanted or expected more from the other than they were willing to give. maybe he wanted to have sex quickly & she didn’t. or that she was ready to get serious and talk about marriage and a family early on and he was put off by this. either way, they were very unbalanced. she was too intense and overbearing & he was too cold. she may have been behaving too comfortably with jimin too fast as well (as if they were super committed or knew each other well) and would be controlling, nag & complain too much and he didn’t like this. he broke up with her rather quickly into this relationship, like pretty much as soon as they got together it was over. there’s a chance here that they never even slept together at all. she was mostly upset because he was her first love and she saw dating as basically on the road to marriage and he didn’t. to him, dating was just being exclusive, but he didn’t expect her to be so intense with him after the flirting stage.
how does jeongyeon see jimin?
i don’t think she had many good relationships after this one, so she romanticizes it a lot. i think she misses him or how he made her feel. she may think it could have worked and sees this as a lost love. i think she was very emotional in this connection so in turn she sees him as too intellectual, defensive, cold & harsh. but at the same time, she still thinks positively of the past and this connection. it’s like “you drive me crazy, but i’m not me if i’m not with you.”
how does jimin see jeongyeon?
he sees jeongyeon as someone really defensive that likes to fight for things that just aren’t even worth the effort. honestly, the vibe i’m getting just from how he views her is that the talking and flirting stage was really fun, but once they actually started dating, jeongyeon got really comfortable out the gate and was probably weirdly clingy and too fast moving for jimin. he thinks she pulled an “i’ll find out what you want, be that girl for a month” & jeongyeon was basically like “yeah but you chose me already so i can just be myself now, right?” but she just seemed super weirdly attached & emotional so he broke up with her. at this point, i think he was her first love for sure. but overall, he thinks she is a bit of a weird person in general, he thinks she says rude things and ignores personal space and boundaries and he even thought she was mannerless. but at the same time, he misses her too. i think he was able to be accepting of who she is until it became unbearable.
