‘‘yeah well i’m not big on dating, since i wasn’t really brought up on the idea of wining and dining before the other bit.’’ eric smirked. ‘’did you release your dragon? is it a big dragon?’’

“No one said you have to go through the trouble of actually being in a relationship, but dates really are great. Someone buying you food just for the chance of maybe getting into your pants? Yes please.” Fox shook his head, laughing. “... she kept talking about it so much that I ended up laughing so hard that I fell out of bed.”

mitchxbashir:

“Why of course.” He winked, pulling his jacket closer to his body as he eyed the boy with a cheeky smile. He liked Fox already and was actually enjoying talking to him. Once Fox had checked everything out, Mitch nodded towards walkway ahead of them and took the lead on which way they were walking. “Whilst I have been known to pick a pocket or two, your wallet legitimately fell out whilst I was sitting on the swings over there.” He showed him where he’d been sitting. “Fox, that’s pretty cute. Unique. I like it. I don’t know, Fox, you might have to work for that.” He smirked, winking at the boy before continuing to walk ahead.

Easily following after the other, Fox pushed his hands into his pockets, but still found himself looking over at the other guy with a grin. “You picking my pocket does make for a cuter story though... unless we’re saying that my wallet jumped out of my pocket since it knew that destiny was near. Also adorable,” Fox settled on, laughing a bit too much over the whole thing, but he was in a good mood. “You even gave up a spot on the swings for me, wow. I might swoon at any moment, fair warning,” Fox teased, chuckling. “I’m thinking my mom might have been a secret X-Files fan honestly. Work? Are you saying I can’t just bat my eyes at you some more and get a name?”

She covered her mouth to hide how much she was laughing at the girls who were now obviously freaking out in the booth. “Yeah, well they’re not good enough for you anyway.” She rolled her eyes.

Fox just grinned happily. “Yes, but who in this world is good enough? That’s the real question. Sometimes you just have to let your standards fall for the sake of enjoying life.” He hummed pleasantly.

mackenzieroth:

Mackenzie had assumed she wouldn’t know a soul in Sudbury, so it was a genuine shock when the stranger she’d beckoned turned out to be someone she actually did. Not only that, but it was someone she definitely didn’t want to talk to, let alone share food with. Her jovial expression turned icy and she pulled the plate back toward her. “Had I known it was you, I wouldn’t have offered in the first place,” she shot back. She crossed her arms and leaned back in the chair. “’Not supposed to be in’? I don’t think it’s your decision where I am and am not supposed to be.”

“Oi,” Fox said as she pulled the plate back, instantly pretending to be offended though he didn’t think he really wanted to eat anymore anyway. “No need to be rude, Mac. Besides, I was here first, I so have dibs on this town. There’s a whole huge country and an even bigger world out there... wait, are you stalking me? Suddenly it’s all making sense. I know I’m cute, but you have to get over me at some point, you know.”

ohmonicas:

“… this is the first time I’ve ever gotten tied down to a tree by boys, Fox. Or did you have a dream about this?” She squinted suspiciously, playfully so, before finally getting freed and revealing her trick. “I can so do it. There are no pizza laws, and I didn’t lie. I’m gonna order lots of pizza, you just can’t have any of it.” he continued stepping back, amusement in her eyes as she started to move a bit quicker, before finally letting out a nervous cry, full of laughter, as she started running away. She should’ve taken her heels off, that much was clear, but it was far too late for that.

“That was a joke, Mon. For as much as you get around, you’re amazingly innocent in there, aren’t you?” He reached over to tap her forehead laughingly. Fox probably looked all too offended by her trick, shooting her a playful glare. “There are so pizza laws! You can’t promise someone pizza and not actually give it to them. That’s like... a cardinal sin.” His eyes narrowed on her and the moment she started to run he took off after her, the length of his legs giving him an unfair advantage along with her being on heels and he lightly tackled her, knocking them both to the ground. “Aha,” he said from on top of her, grinning down at her. “Got you. Are you going to promise to share that pizza with me? Or am I going to have to tie you back to the tree?”

‘‘true, but i’m more of a meet them at the bar kind of guy, i think i’ve only ever been on like, three dates in my lifetime. and one of those was in high school.’’ eric explained.

“Three? God, you’re missing out. I once went out with this girl who tried to tell me all about how I had a hidden dragon inside of me and then at the end of the date she tried to invite me up to her place to tell me that she could ‘release my dragon’. Great times. And proof that dating is totally worth it.”

clark’s eyebrows furrowed at the guys homo joke. “what the fuck..” he scratched his head before brushing off the joke and stepped back slightly. “i don’t need ANY fucking reason, TWINK.”

“Oh come on, don’t give me that. You set me up for it,” Fox said with a laugh, shrugging his shoulders and not the least bit worried about whether the other would be offended or not. “Are you trying to insult me? You can keep trying, it’s sort of cute to watch you try, but you need better material.”

“So, I got sucked into the Philip Defranco show recently and…well, the episode today kind of freaked me out. I don’t really consider myself a wimp when it comes to scary things but…let me just say, one of the topics of today’s show was clowns.”

“Clowns? I love clowns!” Fox said, barely listening to what she had to say but perking up at the end of it, grinning at her. “I don’t get what all the clown hate is all about, they’re just noble men and women serving their country with honor and I appreciate them.”

seb shook his head, “oh there is no way i’d know him by his abs. i have never seen any guys abs before.” the boy chuckled nervously. sebastian was pansexual, so seeing abs wasn’t the problem here, it was just the fact that he never had the opportunity to see any since he was so anxious, he’d usually flee the spot as soon as anything like that was brought up. “i–” he was cut off by fox and seb chuckled. “fox? like the animal? is that like a nickname or your actual name?” seb was curious. 

“Never? Damn, you’re really missing out. Supposedly this guy has some really quality ones... though they did look suspiciously like they might have belonged to Chris Hemsworth.” For Fox, being attracted to someone no matter the gender was a normal thing and he had the tendency to just automatically assume everyone was the same. “Fox like the animal or as in foxy which I totally am, yes. It’s the name my mother gave me. Never met a Fox before?”

clark gave him a look and shook his head. “sounds like a fucking GAY ass game to me.” he moved closer to see, despite sounding disinterested, he was curious to see what it looked like. his anger now cooling down and his attention on the other male. “what’s your name, TWINK?”

“If only. Gay ass games are a lot more fun than this,” Fox responded and far too pleased with himself for the line, just smirking at the other a bit before shrugging. “Why should I tell you, buster? Got a good reason for me?”

“So you’re saying it was great because… it was literally the worst?” Rory eyed him skeptically. “I’m a fan of liking movies that are so terrible it’s hilarious, sure, but that didn’t even manage… that kinda terrible, babe. It was a hot, hot mess,” he said, shaking his head, mouth full of popcorn when he heard Fox say Sean’s name. He glanced up for a moment, frowning ever so slightly. “Yeah, that’s the one. You know him?” He squinted, ready to attack if he heard anything he didn’t like. “She understands you, sure. Whatever you say. As long as I don’t have to watch that ever again, I’ll live the rest of my life at peace.”

“Yes? Duh?” Fox replied, nodding his head like it should have been obvious.”Exactly! That’s the beauty of it! They managed to make a movie that was so bad that it literally doesn’t work on any level. It’s not funny, it’s not charming, it’s not cute, it’s just... gouge your eyes out with a spork bad and I love it.” Humming happily, Fox shrugged. “Dorky but cute? Can’t work computers to save his life? Yeah, I know him. He keeps turning down my offers of alternative methods of payment every time I fix his computer. Very rude.” Fox huffed. “You really are such a spoilsport. Can’t appreciate good art when it’s right in front of you.”

mitchxbashir:

Mitch thought about it for a few seconds and shrugged, he could name a few places and situations it would be rude to flirt with someone. “Yeah well, don’t feel too special. I was just doing my good deed of the day.” He said, tilting his head to the side slightly as he smiled at Fox. Mitch smirked at that, his hands sliding back into his pockets as he observed the male. “Maybe that was my plan all along. For you? I suppose I can make time.” He grinned cheekily. 

“But it’s a good deed for little ol’ me? Of course I feel special.” He even went so far as to flutter his lashes a bit, though almost entirely joking. Fox just liked to see how far he could get away with some things. After quickly checking the wallet to make sure everything was alright, he shoved it back into his pocket. “Did you pickpocket me just for a chance for a date? If that’s not the cutest thing I’ve ever heard, I don’t know what is.” A little surprised that he was legitimately enjoying the banter, Fox paused. “Do I get a name, cutie? I’m Fox.”

clarks brow shut up when he heard someone talking behind him. “what?” he spat out. “i know how to use my fucking words thank you.” he shook his head as he looked down at the guys phone. “what the fuck is that shit you’re playing anyways?”

“Clearly you do. I’m just impressed. Very elegant threats you’ve got going on over there,” Fox responded, not the least bit intimidated by the other, but then again he’d never had much sense of self-preservation. “It’s a farming game. I’m just taking care of my virtual cows instead of having a cow in real life.”

sebmidd:

seb shrugged his shoulders as he took a puff of his cigarette. “hm, can’t say i know who marcus is. i’d probably have to see a face first. i don’t usually ask names of my neighbors.” sebastian chuckled a bit at the mention of a dumpy old man. “hey what’s wrong with the name sherman? it’s a cool name,” he joked back. starting to feel less anxious around the guy, seb stepped a bit closer so that there wasn’t such a large space between them any more. “i’m sebastian,” he offered his hand.

“I mean... I would show you a picture of his face, but mostly I just have very nice abs shots. If you could recognize your neighbors from that though, I’m happy to show you. I might have some more questions for you though,” Fox joked, shaking his head as he glanced up at the building before turning his full attention back to the other. “Have you ever met an attractive Sherman? I didn’t think so,” Fox finished without waiting for the other to say. Chuckling, he shook the hand. “Fox.”

mackenzieroth:

“Hey, you! Person walking roughly northeast down the sidewalk! D’you want some free food? I’m trying to see which restaurant in this town should be where I spend most of my paychecks and I overestimated how much food my stomach can actually hold. I swear it’s not roofied or anything.” 

“Hmm? Did you say food?” Of course Fox was always thinking with his stomach, focus much more on that than the girl as he moved over to swipe a few fries from her plate without questioning the offer. “You had me at fre--” That was as far as he got before he glanced over to see who was actually talking to him and it made him pause. “... you sure it’s not drugged? That would make more sense  than you just offering me free food on the street of a town you’re not even supposed to be in.”

ohmonicas:

“Don’t look at me like that,” Monica whined, ever so dramatic, as she threw her head back, only to collide harshly to the tree trunk, causing a followed his of pain. “They seemed like very nice boys,” she said, a bit more quiet, though she shook off her embarrassment as Fox finally untied her. With a breath of relief, she shook her arms free, the light in her gaze returning as Fox went on to suggest a kiss. “Oh! Sorry,” she said, slowly leaning forward. The second their lips were inches apart, her gaze turned more mischievous. “… I never said I’d buy the pizza for you,” she whispered, before quickly rushing to her feet, laughing as she slowly backed away from him.

“Oh, don’t they always. They all seem like nice boys at first, but then you trust them a little and next thing you know you’re tied up uncomfortably while they’re taking advantage of you. Tut tut, you should know better,” Fox teased, smirking at her a bit too smugly and grinning as she leaned forward, only to let out a noise of real offense as she said she wouldn’t get him pizza and pulled away from him. “Oi! You can’t do that!” Jumping up himself, Fox gave her a mischievous look as well. “Well, Monster, I didn’t want to have to say this but... this is war. And all’s fair in pizza and war.” Carefully he moved a bit closer to her, clearly with the intention of playfully chasing her if she tried to run.
