Skincare Ingredients That Keep You Young
Skincare Ingredients That Keep You Young
Jennifer Anniston and Christie Brinkley are just two of the many celebrities that seem to have found the Fountain of Youth.  While there are definitely genetics involved in their youthful looks, these stars also rely on some key skincare ingredients to achieve their ageless looks.   Here are some of the top skincare ingredients that will help keep you looking young:
Retinol
If you are serious about turning back time, you should know about retinol.  Retinol is a form of vitamin A that reduces fine lines and wrinkles, by promoting the production of collagen and helping even out the skin’s pigmentation.  While many products claim that you will see results within days, don’t be disappointed if it takes weeks until you see a noticeable difference.   Retinol is an impressive anti-aging ingredient, but that doesn’t mean that you will see results overnight.  For speedier results, consider investing in a hydrating mask containing diamond powder and vitamin A to get the best anti-aging effects.
Peptides
Perhaps an unsung hero of anti-aging ingredients includes short chains of amino acids called peptides.   Peptides are the building blocks of proteins and help promote the production of collagen, which makes up 75 percent of skin and gives the skin its elasticity.  Peptide creams and serums help rebuild lost collagen, and two of the most important peptides for skincare include Palmitoyl Oligopeptide and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7.   Palmitoyl Oligopeptide helps stimulate collagen production in cells, while Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 helps reduce inflammation.
Hydroquinone
This skincare ingredient helps you turn back time by inhibiting the skin’s production of an enzyme that is responsible for producing melanin.  Melanin is the pigment that gives your skin its color and many turn to this ingredient to help them eliminate brown discoloration of the skin.
While it has proven to be effective, this skincare ingredient has had its fair share of controversy.  However, there is little reason to fear.  Most of the negative reactions stem from the fact that users of hydroquinone may develop ochronosis, or a blue discoloration of the skin.  Out of the millions of people who use hydroquinone, only a handful of them have developed the disorder.  Discoloration can significantly age a person and, if you suffer from skin discoloration, it may be worth talking to your doctor about hydroquinone.

Summer Skincare Essentials for a Flawless Season
The sweltering heat, pollution and humidity during the summer can be very damaging to our skin. Therefore it takes away from our natural glow and can sometimes cause infections. Nonetheless to help prevent all of this, and keep your skin radiating like before, here are the Summer Skincare Essentials for a Flawless Season.
Sunscreen Always
First up on your summer skincare essentials list is sunscreen. This one is very key to protecting your skin. Throw away the unused sunscreen from last year and pick up a new bottle. Sunscreens are not supposed to last forever, in fact most of us do not use as much as we should. Particularly get a new sunscreen that has both UVA & UVB, make sure it has SPF 30 and SPF 70. Make sure to always reapply it every 1-2 hours when you are out in the sun.
Exfoliate All Over
This is the golden rule when it comes to basic summer skincare, exfoliation is key for smooth, glowing skin. For instance, our bodies sheds dead skin cells every single day. However if we don’t exfoliate, then they will just sit on our skin, making us look dull and dry. With that said, no matter how much lotion you use, if you do not exfoliate you will never have glowing skin. For one thing when you’re in the shower, grab a body scrub and rub it all over your body in circular motions. While in the shower avoid your face and neck you will want to
use a facial peeling gel for those areas. Overall, do this 2-3 times a week and you will be guaranteed to have radiant skin year round.
Drink Up
During the summer we can easily become dehydrated that in short, we need to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. With this in mind, it can be easily done if you carry a water bottle around with you and remind yourself to drink at least once every 30 minutes. As a result, not only does water help wash out a lot of toxins, it also helps you feel fresh. In conclusion, that’s why water is essential in our summer skincare.
Hydrate With Lotion
It is time to put away the heavy body butters and switch to a more light moisturizing lotion. We do not always have time for our lotions to sink in so instead, try something that is light and fast absorbing. For instance,
A multi-purpose lotion is perfect for our summer skincare in that you can carry it around and use it all over your body.
Initially, you apply it right after you get out the shower, then your skin will appear and feel visibly soft. As a result, it seals in the moisture your body just soaked in.
Summer Glow
We have so many different options when it comes to adding a summer tint to our skin. On the other hand, a healthy alternative is to let your natural glow shine through. For example, adding a collagen boosting cream or serum to your summer skincare routine will help improve your skins natural radiance.
In contrast, tanning is so harmful to our skin and for instance, the chemicals in spray tans can sometimes irritate your skin.
  Love Your Toes
After hiding our feet in boots all winter long, it is finally sandals season ladies! In other words, time to go get a pedicure or instead give yourself an at-home pedicure so you can touch up your toes on your own time.
Furthermore, nothing is worse than seeing dry, cracked feet inside cute sandals. With that said, stop neglecting your feet and include your little piggies in your summer skincare routine. It is very simple, just keep a body scrub and a file in your shower and scrub your feet a few times a week. In that your feet will be soft and flawless in no time.
In the end, you now have your summer skincare essentials, it is time to hit the beach or pool and show off your radiant summer skin. If you just follow these tips you will be vacation ready in no time ladies! Get all of these skincare essentials 25% Off with promo code ‘SUMMER’.

4 Easy Ways To Keep Your Skin Nourished

4 Easy Ways To Keep Your Skin Nourished
Frighteningly cold temperatures, harsh winds, heaters steadily blaring and the fight to keep our skin nourished continues… Until now.
We may be able to escape the freezing temperatures by hiding out in our homes, but it seems impossible to keep our skin nourished in this dry weather. The overall lack of humidity in the air pulls moisture out of our skin quicker than tickets sell out for Hamilton. We have gathered some pampering tips that will leave your skin feeling like you just stepped out of the spa. Well, almost.
                                           Turn Down The Heat
Tumblr media
I don’t know about you but I love a long, hot shower when the temperatures are less than ideal outside. It may feel great, but the steamy waters opens up your pores and dehydrates your skin. Swap out those lengthy showers for shorter ones with warm water. Once you are out, pat your skin dry and apply lotion when your skin is still a little damp, which helps locks in moisture.
                                               Polish & Brighten
Tumblr media
Exfoliation is essential! It keeps your skin smooth, which helps products really sink in and work better. Our skin naturally regenerates by shredding old, dead skin cells, but sometimes we have to help out in this department. If we do not exfoliate then thick, dry skin can form. Try exfoliating once or twice a week, but be gentle! Too much exfoliation can aggravate your skin and that’s can make it even worse.
                                                Treat Yourself
Tumblr media
Splurge and try applying a hydrating mask once or twice a week, which will work wonders in repairing your skin. Or, you could channel your inner do-it-yourselfer and make your own Homemade Honey & Lemon Face Mask. For super soft and nourished skin, just combine ½ ripe avocado, one teaspoon of plain yogurt and ½ teaspoon of honey.
                                       Nourish From The Inside Out
Tumblr media
Make sure that you are drinking at least eight to ten glasses of water a day. This is told to us all the time because it is good for our overall health, but staying hydrated packs a huge punch in the form of skincare benefits. Also, try to incorporate omega-3 fatty acids into your diet, it will help your skin to retain moisture. Try to eat more salmon or take the easy route by taking a fish oil supplement daily.

6 Flawless Ways To Achieve Better Skin in 2017
Original content from forever flawless
Happy 2017! Last year seems like it just flew by! A new year is all about a clean slate and a fresh start. And by that we mean a flawless face and the perfect canvas for makeup. We have rounded up the products we truly love and exactly how we use them so you can achieve better skin in 2017.
Eat your way to clear skin. Our skin is the largest organ, so that means if we are eating something that doesn’t mesh well with it, it will appear via redness or acne. If you keep a clean, balanced diet you can change everything from your faces texture to the appearance (or disappearance) of fine lines.
Protect your hair while you sleep. If you switch out your regular cotton pillowcase with a silk pillowcase, you will see major benefits. Not only will it make your blow-dry last longer, but it also helps reduce the chance of forming wrinkles. Your face will be less smushed and roughed up by an irritable pillowcase, everything stays smoother while you get your beauty rest.
Try double cleansing. This is one of the best ways to guarantee that you go to bed with a clean yet hydrated face. Start by massaging a lightweight cleanser, like the Forever Flawless Diamond Infused Cleansing Complex onto wet skin. Add water and rinse. Follow with a milky face wash, such as the OCEANE Beauty White Pearl Milk Cleanser. Once you are done, your skin will feel like butter and there will no trace of left behind makeup.
Try an at-home peel. One of the best ways to get rid of dull skin is a facial peel. There is no actual peeling involved and it goes on like a clear mask and then you wash it off. Usually these are done during facials, but now you can do it at home in the comfort of your sweats. You will instantly get a smoother face.
Wear SPF every day. Yes, even in the winter too. The UV rays make your skin more sensitive and the sun is damaging your skin, even when it’s cold outside. Your skin will age better if you protect your skin now.
STOP picking at your face! You will more than likely get scars and it is not good for your skin. We carry so much bacteria on our skin, that when we touch our face, we are just transferring it. So back away from the magnifying mirror and no more picking.
