Sometimes I just go through a fandom tag and there are posts saying certain scenes can only be interpreted as romantic and I just try looking for something I must have missed like a confused puppy, "but that doesn't look 'romantic' at all"
This happens to me so much if I don’t know the fandom and it’s an aggressive scene between two characters. My brain just ticks over to abuse, danger, please stop sexualizing aggression. Because without context, stuff doesn’t look romantic or safely sexual at all! And I even like the “sword at your throat sexual tension” trope. I just wish that we could talk about things like that without people being like “why you hating on my ship, you [insult here].” Because sometimes even in fandoms where I do know the whole context you’ll have artist pose the characters in possessive ways or have a character look worried when the other character is advancing. Anyways yeah, I wish fandoms which where 9/10th of that type of content comes from actually had discussions on it.
And on the more casual side, romance is so hyped sometimes it’s just like

Captain America: The First Avenger- 7/10. Cool train heist scene, and monorails go by at the World’s Fair
The Avengers- 3/10. A freight train goes by at the beginning. Cap tells the police to get people into the subway, giving hope for more train content that goes unfulfilled. The only scene of Cap riding the subway was deleted.
Iron Man 3- 0/10. No trains.
Thor: The Dark World- 10/10 THOR RIDES THE TRAIN
Captain America: The Winter Soldier- 0/10. No trains.
