I feel so lucky to be a voting member of @recordingacademy . I love that I get to receive so much great music submitted for consideration for the GRAMMY Awards®, and that I get to talk with the people who have poured their heart and soul and dreams into making their music come to life despite the many struggles and obstacles along the way. Today is the first day of first round voting and there is some really great stuff on the ballot. @jason_mraz a great new reggae record produced by Michael Goldwasser that I love. I have to give a shout out to former executive director for my Chapter @mwingerski (who also produced three of my earlier records) and now current director @cpm.jfdi for doing great things to bring our musical community together. I first met @cindyhowes_ playing my song Morningbird live on The Coffehouse WERS @wers889 radio at Emmerson College in Boston at 6am on a Tuesday in 2005.
