the final scene of merlin was so unnecessary and for what. traumatizing an entire country on christmas eve with the implications that the magical twink with the death wish has spent 1500+ years waiting by that mother fucking lake for his wet golden retriever of a mythical noble boyfriend to come back. and it DOESNT EVEN END WITH A REUNION. haunting. jail for ten thousand years. i am devouring it with pita chips and hummus.

the worst thing about having parents that truly, absolutely believe in you is that you can't ask what if i fail. their answer is always you won't. but what if i do. what if i can't cross the bridge. what if i fall. tell me what should i do ahead. tell me there's a life beyond this. that even if i fail, i'm not a failure. please. just give me another light. another road. tell me it's okay. we'll do this, and that, and even that option is available. tell me it's okay if i can't do it.
