That's exactly what I said on a different post. JK chose the things he chose and that supports the assertion that the similarities are completely deliberate.

i've seen sooooo many videos of bts where they'd be just doing whatever but one look at jikook and i'll immediately notice they're different. like jungkook especially is a fucking open book it's hilarious; his body language is so damn transparent it's painful sometimes. if bts are all sitting for example, just look for jungkook, where is he? is he sitting next jimin? dan expected. is he not sitting next to jimin? then his body must be fully turned towards jimin AND you'll see him being so fidgety like he's itching to move and go to where jimin is.
there's this scene in ITS2 that always makes me wonder how tkkrs even exist, it's when all of the members were having breakfast(?) and taekook were sitting next to each other, ok, cool, so far nothing out of the ordinary; then voila, here comes jimin and jk's whole body turns around waiting for jimin to sit next to him, and when jimin does jo has his whole body turned towards jimin and his legs opened, his back turned to tae 😭
like damn if taekook are real they need to break-up ASAP cause clearly SOMEONE's body is eager for another...
Yes, you are so right! The difference is just so obvious. As clear as day. Jungkook really is an open book, now not as much as in the past, but still. In 2015 his crush on Jimin was painfully obvious, he couldn’t help it.
And after everything they did together if they were in a relationship with other people, i don’t think it would work. :D Even their families love them so much.
That scene in ITS2 was… 🫠
And I’ve always found funny reactions of other members to them. Panicking, smiling, teasing, third wheeling,… It’s just hilarious. :D

What’s your top 5 or 10 favourite moments of jikook?
Ooooh....
1. Rose Bowl. Dude sucked his ear in front of thousands on the jumbotron.
2. Hickey Gate. I don't care what story those two heathens plotted, bite my ass. I know a hickey when I see one.
3. Speaking of hickeys, when JK used a selfie of himself to blackmail Jimin into staying in the infamous STOB IT Jinminkook live. The picture he went ahead and posted the next day which shows a very suspicious spot on JKs neck.
4. Them getting caught by the cameras planted in their hotel rooms without their knowledge. We saw everyone else enter their rooms alone, and then JK comes into his followed by a clearly shook Jimin when he notices the camera there.
5. I'm one of the firm believers that it WAS Jimin in Kook's hotel room during the infamous "bread incident". No guy is eating bread, alone, naked, listening to Lana Del Ray. NOBODY
6. The "Coming of Age" ceremony. JK chose a song about A WOMAN FINALLY COMING OF AGE TO BE INTIMATE WITH HER OLDER LOVER TO DANCE TO AND CHOSE JIMIN TO BE HIS PARTNER IN IT
7. Doing a filthy ass choreography to a filthy ass Own IT, where Jimin seems to be getting a little too happy throughout the dancing.

What people should take away from hearing Seven?
"I know the song is about love, but... I hope my fans get energy"... The MV shows how chaotic it can be... it shows how one stays focused on their loved one no matter what happens around them.
(Fuck, sorry, but fuck, that is so so so so so the two of them.)
He hopes that fans can think of it as something that stays with them while having a hard time.
The way I see it, he means that it will stay with them as a lesson for when they are going through a rough patch.
Why I know JM already has Ken's guitar:
So, she asks him if he likes American movies, and he answers Titanic.
From there she's "so you like Ryan Gosling, do you think you will see Barbie?"
Now, how did she make the jump form Titanic to Ryan Gosling? My guess is that something was edited out. Perhaps him mentioning The notebook? Or, other option is that she brought it up as part of Barbie's promotions? Which included the Ken gifting his guitar to Jimin clip. Same JM who happened to be there in NY with JK.

The interview was short and cute. She was respectful, even if a little too giggly-annoying, lol, and I love JK's honesty and openness.
I'm actually really enjoying this. Seeing/hearing JK interviewed on the radio.
It's just fun to see him in these interviews, JK there all alone, independent, answering questions by himself. All grown up and confident, even if he's anxious. A new reality.
Wasn't RM saying that JK should take over as leader? He definitley is holding his own in these interviews.
Am I allowed to say I'm proud of him without sounding too cringe?

There comes a point when people need to stop denying the obvious--> Jimin and Jungkook’s album concepts and aesthetics are not just similar they are virtually the same...Lighting, wardrobe, poses, makeup, location...The concepts are so similar even down to JK’s haircut choice. JK’s hair cut is exactly the same...not similar EXACT SAME as JM’s . He even sported the same ring necklace in the MV.
These pictures in this post highlight the similarities sooo flipping well. Look at these side by side comparisons (putting it here again so it can be in your face twice over).
This post from humblestart1ao3 gives so many more similarities that it’s scary. And the similarities this time can’t be blamed on well they are apart of the same band. These aren’t BTS photoshoots. These are Jimin and JK’s solo debut photo shoots. They should not look this similar unless...unless it was the artists choice.
Those denying this are the ones delusional not us...we are simply calling a spade a spade.
The Theory of Destiny & Everlasting Love
Whenever I want peace from the infighting ignorance of twt, I come over to Tumblr. It’s my space to think and just be away from the noise on the BTS Stan twt side of things. Twitter is like a busy 10 lane highway as where Tumblr is like a long winding country road. So much peace. But there is something that occurred to me while vacationing over here. I want so share my thought.
One thing that has really changed about twt community is that we used to be allowed space to have fun and be silly without being policed by others - especially other Jikookers. I’m talking about our silly theories that used to keep us intellectually entertained - even though most of them were completely wrong. We used to have soooo many conversations about theories and the #13, and matching clothes and rings.
But in today’s twitter, under the guise of being “evolved”, our own moots often gatekeep the things we say and ratio accounts that talk about things such as number theories, and special dates. They are the “you’re going to get [redacted or redacted] dragged if you talk about these things” crowd. If people drag certain members, it is because they are terrible, nasty people who want to drag certain members. It has nothing to do with what we do, or, do not say. It’s going to happen regardless of our existence and not because of something that we posted about moon cycles or number theories. I will always respect the opinion of people who do not believe Jikook is a real couple. But it’s not fair that they get to shut down those of us who do feel there is something special between them.
Many of the “evolved Jikookers” are uninformed and don’t realize that Jimin started alot of the number and date connection talk HIMSELF. Jk jumped right into as well. Going all the way back to their posts on fan cafe where they would use numbers to communicate with us as well as each other. Jk even made us do math equations to get into his chat rooms. There is historical precedent for why the veteran Jikookers like to discuss these things.
It’s really unfortunate that people can’t just allow others to be themselves and scroll away from things they don’t like. It makes me sad for our Jikook community bc these harmless theories and rhetoric have been mostly shut down and we’re not allowed to talk about them without being piled on and shunned. And don’t even get me started on how we are bullied by other groups whenever we do get a good conversation going.
Ive been thinking of a way to create a safe space for THEORIES ONLY where people can just go wild talking about numbers and symbolism and colors and what it means for Jikook and OT7 overall. I am thinking through how we can create that safe space again. Thinking…maybe Tumblr is the place where we can post our delusions, but only share with those who want to theorize with us. Just as much as we have a right to play around with our theories and gush over matching jewelry, those who don’t want to see that stuff have a right to not be inundated with it. I respect people who don’t want to get caught up in that side of Jikook world. But there still should be a space of those of us who do.
There is so much symbolism in what Jikook does and yet so many Jikookers hold their tongues and are afraid to openly talk about it unless there is a consensus that agrees with the idea. Those who are bold enough to go off the grid and state their unique opinions are often not supported, especially if it looks like there is dissenting opinion.
With all of that said, I have a theory to share. So - gather around folks because I am going to openly share a delusional Jikook theory that came to me today. From this point on, everything I am stating is allegedly and can be assumed to be 100% incorrect bc it is just a theory based on my opinion. But my purpose here is not to be right, my purpose is to bring back fun and thoughtful consideration of possibilities. What are we witnessing and what are some of the explanations for it? So often we have to theorize because they don’t actually speak on these matters. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t leaving bed crumbs for us to figure it out. They are leaving clues just as they always have.
So if you are someone who hates this kind of stuff, you should leave this blog now.
WARNING THE FOLLOWING CONTENT IS PURE OPINION AND EVERYTHING IS ALLEGEDLY
Let’s Start HERE - Jk’s concept photo’s for SEVEN
Jk’s Concept photos dropped today and we were all immediately stuck by how similar they were to Jimin’s.
One of the reasons I needed to get away from twitter was because of all of the fighting by solo Stans and shippers and OT7, all at each other’s throats for no real reason at all. It was too much. I love peace and they were not peaceful.
At the center of all of the fighting was JK’s concept photos. There are many who felt that JK strongly “borrowed” his concepts from Jimin’s FACE concept. You have others who feel that the similarities were just coincidence. And still there are others who claim this is all JIKOOK COUPLE coded. It should be no surprise to you that I am in the last category. IMO, this is strongly Jikook couple coded.
Here are the seven reasons I believe that to be so:
No stylists would ever purposely give two artists who are breaking into solo careers the same (or extremely similar) concepts accidentally. That would be the kiss of death for their career. They would have definitely done their research first and talked to the other stylists on the team
Even if two stylists did accidentally make this mistake, one of the two artists in question (JM or JK) would have spoken up. Jk as been GLUED to Jimin’s entire solo roll out. Trust me, he knows, knew and has seen everything Jimin was preparing, even before we did. During the fittings, the dress rehearsals, or the concept discussions, Jk would have spoken up if he was concerned about how similar his concept was to Jimin’s.
They are not duplicates of each other. They are COMPLIMENTS of each other. For example, Jimin has thorns growing out of his skin, where Jk’s has spikes that are coming out of his clothes. To me that says they are being attacked by the same type of pain, but enduring it differently. Jimin is more immune to it because he has thorns that have literally grown as part of his body to protect him (another theory that I believe to be underpinned within the similar concepts)
HYBE is not on government assistance. They are a pretty profitable company with money to burn for their featured artists. They did not force the guys to share limited resources from their fashion budget. No one told them to share leather pants because they could only afford one pair. It is likely that both Jimin and JK had open wallets to spend as much money as they deemed necessary. Yoongi already told us that they were given very generous budgets to work with for their projects.
If Jk knew what Jimin was doing, Jimin probably also knew what Jk was doing. Nothing HYBE does is last minute or without thought (other than Jk’s sweet WLIVES). They plan and think for months/years in advance.
Each style represented had their own spin on it and placed side by side, you could see the customized differences. They felt more like tributes to each other.
So that brings me to my last point. If this was not an accident or some mishap by a stylist AND the concepts were complimentary but not exactly the same then that leaves only one explanation for this similarity - THEY PLANNED THIS SHIT!
For example, look at the below pic. More evidence of them being compliments to each other but not duplicates. For all intents and purpose, it looks like JK is wearing Jimin’s belt as a necklace. Again, NO STYLIST would make this mistake. They had plenty of time to correct if this was an accident.
Let’s list the similarities
1). Color schemes
2). Same exact leather pants in one of the shots
3) Same jewelry in some cases
4). Same hair and styling
5). Sticking with the black and white theme
6). The sun and the moon from their folio
7) Jimin wearing a fake lip ring in the middle of his lip while having a thorn in the exact spot of JK’s (old) eyebrow piercing
8) Similar poses, similar angles, same hair
9) The shirtless-ness
10) As a side note, JK still refusing to cover that J on his finger with any kind of ring. He either pushes it above the J or has a clear ring or no ring at all.
I understand if some moots are angry about the similarities, I really do understand. But I promise you, Jimin is no gentle flower to be fucked over. He’s a kind loving and incredible spirit who is gracious beyond his years, but if he was truly upset about his concept being stolen, he would have spoken up LOUDLY and made JK pivot to something else. So, that is why I fully believe that they sat down and discussed this TOGETHER. There were sketches, design boards, color wheels, and consensus on how they would become extensions of each other and keep the themes tied together while still expressing individuality.
So now the question becomes - why would they do this?
WARNING GOING DEEP INTO THE DELUSIONAL ABYSS GET OUT NOW
Here is my theory. I believe the answer to why they did matching concepts is in the lyrics to LETTER. People get so mad when we Jikookers make that song about a “ship”. Everybody wants to believe that it’s about ARMY. Well I agree, it is about ARMY, Jimin loves us tremendously. He is so beautifully humble and genuine and thankful for us.
But the back portion of the song where Jk joins in takes on a completely new meaning and I think that is where it ceases to be about ARMY. We all know that the lyrics changed from the way Jimin originally wrote them where they seemed even more affectionate. But even the final verses seemed uni-directional towards one single person.
Let’s step back and talk about the fact that Jk was brought into Jimin’s solo project; an album that he deemed highly personal. That fact alone should blow your mind and make you realize how important they are to each other. Jimin said time and time again how this album was extremely personal and about his life. There were NO COLLABS…except ONE [a hidden song that’s the 7th track]. So why bring Jk in on an album that is about his struggles and fears and triumphs that are so deeply personal? Any background singer at HYBE could have leaned in to help sing JK’s part (they would not have sounded as good, but the overall song still would have been beautiful). Why did it have to be Jk - the lead vocalist of BTS who was busy with his own work? Why did Jimin want Jk by his side on his FIRST full solo album? And just as importantly, why did Jk agree to do it? Why? Why? WHYYYYYY??? You have to ask yourself that question. Even solos and OT7s need to ask themselves that question. I know the answer but I don’t think some of you are ready for that conversation. Anyhoo….moving on.
The “baby don’t leave, by my side just stay…. those moments that filled what’s between you and me…so I can give back just how much I’ve received…though its scary, though we’re afraid, never forget that we’re together.”
NEVER FORGET THAT WE’RE TOGETHER. NEVER FORGET THAT WE’RE TOGETHER. NEVER FORGET THAT WE’RE TOGETHER.
That verse plays over and over in my head. In my tiny little brain this particular verse doesn’t feel like it was intended for ARMY. This feels like it was directed to Jk and Jk back to Jimin.
Think back to the similarities that I mentioned above as compliments to each other
1). Same Color schemes
2). Same exact leather pants
3) Same jewelry in some cases but worn differently
4). Same hair and styling
5). Sticking with the black and white theme
6). The sun and the moon from their folio
7) Jimin wearing a fake lip ring in the middle of his lip while having a thorn in the exact spot of JK’s (old) eyebrow piercing
8) Similar angles for the poses, similar hair
9) The shirtless-ness
All of it just feels like the physical manifestation of never forgetting that they are together. These feel like reminders that they literally wore on their bodies, in their videos and concept films. They showed unity by design. Even if you don’t believe these two are romantic, you CANNOT DENY they are very good friends. Probably two of the best friends within the group and possible soulmates (you are me and I am you). They love each other very much and IMO the mirroring and similarities of the concepts are PROOF that they talk constantly and they are extremely close even if we don’t see it on screen. You must be very very close to plan your solo concepts together.
Let me be clear that I do not intend to take away from their individuality. These two have spent alot of time apart and really grown into who they are and they have expressed themselves beautifully. I am Jk biased and I love to tout his accomplishments. I am also Jimin biased and I love to support him as well and his #1 BILLBOARD HIT. For me personally, FACE changed my life and those songs will live in my bones, my SOUL forever. So I more than welcome them doing things alone and allowing themselves to shine like the stars they are. They deserve to speak their voices and I will listen. I will never wish for them to be together when they are thriving as soloists. I respect each alone and together. But just because I respect them as individuals, doesn’t meant that I can ignore them when they do decide to present together (like the did in LETTER). Because I don’t think they want us to ignore it.
We all know that the matching couple behavior is nothing new for Jikook. They have always been the two that matched, mirrored, and complimented each other. And that matching has cultural relevance for couples. They have done it for years and years even when they are NOT styled for work. Sometimes its the exact same clothes, sometimes its the same hair color, sometimes its the same jewelry or shoes and sometimes, they just color coordinate in the most couple way possible. And 99.5% of the time, the matching occurs between only the two of them and no other members. Below is just a few of thousands of examples -
In summary, we shouldn’t be surprised about the matching of the concept photos at all. This was no accident. This was no rogue stylist who just wasn’t paying attention. This was methodical, planned and intentional from both parties, Jimin and Jungkook.
There is alot of scary unknown shit ahead of them with ms looming. We don’t yet know Jk’s plans, and there is potential for him to postpone his service until 2025/2026 after all the others have returned to meet up with him for a brief reunion. We can hope that they will all go together and come back together, but we cannot expect that or wish that on the Maknae who has committed himself to this group since the age of 13. He may want to live his life and enjoy freedom for a little while longer.
Meanwhile, we can assume that Jimin will need to plan to go pretty soon, even with the age regression from Korea’s new law. So with that said, these two could end up being apart for a very, very long time.
When Jk looks at his photos a year from now, he will remember Jimin in every single frame. When Jimin looks at his photos a year from now, he will remember Jk in every single frame. But no matter where time, space, travels, and service to their country takes them, they will NEVER FORGET THAT THEY WERE TOGETHER.

Jungkook is the most romantic person in existance (and the choice of ANTOYA supports this claim) 🩷
The things he does, both big and small, speak volumes about how he feels towards Jimin.
We know JK is a boy with big, big feelings. We see him crying when he's overcome, we see him enjoying his food most dramatically, we see him raging when hes furious.
We dont know everything about them, but one of the things we often get to see, when it comes to Jungkook and his feelings, is the way he celebrates Jimin.
The things he does aren't expensive, they aren't flashy, they arent designed to impress or show status. They are the things that money can't buy. He gives gifts of the heart.
Rosebowl, the giant pancake, the snow in NZ, the thirst-trap birthday message, leaving the gym to support Jimin's birthday vlive, the hyping of Promise (from inside a closet) and many more. Let's not forget GCF Tokyo! I can't list them all here but most recently, his support during Jimin's promotions for FACE - commenting on the livestreams, singing the songs, watching the promos with us - are hugely significant. Its not hard to imagine how much these gestures would have meant to Jimin.
It is all so special and thoughtful. It speaks volumes about their relationship.
But the thing I love the most about all of this? It's the WAY he does these things.
Some of them are impulsive (the snow), some are carefully planned (Tokyo). Some are enormously significant, changing the whole landscape around their relationship (Rosebowl) others are barely worth a mention (a bigger pancake). But in every instance, his whole focus is Jimin's happiness.
From the biggest things to the smallest, the delivery of his heartfelt gifts is totally without ego. There's no guile or selfishness in ANY of it. At no point does he seem to be thinking 'Look how good i am!' In fact i believe that sometimes he is not really thinking at all. At least not consciously thinking of how to impress or show his love or 'be thoughtful'. He seems to be so genuinely attuned to Jimin that he doesn't need to think. He instinctively knows, and without second guessing, he acts.
So what's so special about ANTOYA?
Its not a particularly expensive restaurant. I could easily afford to eat there and I'm not wealthy AT ALL. Its not especially exclusive or sophisticated - there's a person dancing in a cow-suit outside the door for goodness sake! The reviews talk about it being good value for money and a family restaurant. Yes, it has a mention in the Michelin guide, but they describe it as "good quality, good value" and "deliver[ing] a reliable roster of barbecue hits." Let's be frank, its not the highest praise possible for a restaurant.
So what makes it special enough for them to eat there? Besides the important fact that it proclaims itself 'LGBT friendly' there's one stand out thing... its very pretty and very romantic, and from what we know about Jimin's aesthetic, he would love it.
Would JK love it? Not sure he'd care. The boy sleeps on matresses on the floor and has bandannas tied around his lamps. His 'room' in BE was starkly functional and minimalist.
But Jimin's room in BE... JIMIN'S ROOM WAS A SERENADE OF ELEGANCE AND FULL TO THE BRIM WITH BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS. He's all about pretty, pretty things.
The restaurant entrance is honestly divine. It's like a pagoda covered in a cascade of colourful flowers, and their signature cocktail is called 'Love Potion'. What could be more romantic on Silver Day, than a meal at a place like this?
I really can't think of anything 🩷

My suggestion is go and read this.
I won't be talking about everything JK says. Just a couple of little honorary mentions from me.
Before I start, I do have to say that this man is absolutely gorgeous.
It's going to be a very sad day for the y/n fans when they finally realize that JK and JM are off the market and with no other than each other.
This here.
The pressure on his shoulders, trying to reach one of his end goals.
"...and then I can be more open about the real me."
You might think I'm being over melodramatic here, but I can't help it. I'm sitting here reading and re-reading that sentence and tears are just running down my face.
JK has always talked about hiding his true self behind a mask. He's been wanting to show us more of himself, his real self, his true self, trying to do that over the years.
That's why TTU hits so hard at times, especially their last Seoul performances of the song.
That's also why my heart broke when he told us in the Japanese interview for Film out, that he has come to realize that he will always need to wear that mask, that he might never be able to show his real self.
And now, again, he's trying to take steps to be able to show us who he really is.
We have said for ages now that JK wants out of the closet. It's that but it's also more than just his queerness. His queerness is part of who he is as a person, part of his identity, but that is not the only part of himself he is hiding from us, and his need to be out of the closet coincides with his need to stop masking himself (an interesting term that I am not using in vain here).
Next point I wanted to bring attention to:
That there folks. I literally just mentioned this in my last post. JK is the artist, he does the art. He has others, professionals in their own fields, that do the business side of things, which includes the promotions.
"I'm a dancer and a singer - I don't know about every single aspect of the business". And he is not only talking about the styling or the concepts here.
It's about what your goals are as an artist. What each and every one of the members goals are, and JK, his goal is this:
He wants out of Korea, I've said this once, I've said it a thousand times.
This photo here I found interesting:
Is this JK grainy, unclear, waiting to clear up, for us to see him clearly, his real self? Or is that just me bullshitting? Lol.
Other than that, did you notice the black and white theme going on?
JK acknowledging the change that we all saw in him since his Feb 23 lives.
Kind of also confirms what we've been talking about. JK is a smart young man and he knows what he's doing. The spoilers, the choices of words of songs during the lives, the JM promoting, not by chance and not done without thought.
And here we go again.
