got7 is pretty much a new group so that means I don't quite know them, would it be bothersome to you if you just gave me a little description of their personalities?
Ah yes, they’re fresh out of the rookie pool, to be honest. Just debuting four days ago and they’ve already gained so much popularity. That being said, my descriptions of their personalities are based on the observations I’ve come across when watching their performances, predebut items, and bts practices.
Mark: He gives off a “manly” vibe. Being a tricker, he also gives off this confidence aura, which shows that his flipping and dancing skills are what he’s proud of doing. Even with that, I think he’s pretty down to earth (as in he’s humble about it). And I think he likes to joke around a lot as well. On one stage performance, I saw him flapping his arms in the back and it was pretty ridiculous. He seems like a charmer inside and out.
JB: Even though he isn’t the oldest, he’s the one leading the group. Typically, leaders like this are very dedicated, hard-working, and caring. Even before GOT7, fans could see how talented he is through JJ Project. He gives off the “positive” sort of vibe. To the point where I’d label him as “dad” of the group because he takes care of all of his members and makes sure they’re all doing well.
Jackson: He seems like the mood maker of the group. Seeing him on the JYP live chat, his reaction to picking Nichkhun as his partner was adorable. He gives off this energetic and joker vibe. He’ll probably be that one who makes the members laugh by doing crazy dance moves when they’re all exhausted from practicing just to see them smile.
JR: I feel like he’s the mum of the group, to be quite honest. Debuting before GOT7 with JB, they have more experience and could possibly use this experience to help the members out. I feel like even though JB is the “dad” of the group, JR would tend to the member more on a heart-to-heart level.
Youngjae: He seems like a total sweetheart. During the garage showcase, he was the only one without a partner, but his solo stage was one of my favorite stages. You could tell that he really loves to sing and he really loves his band life. He seems like the one to hug the members out of nowhere.
Bam Bam: He’s too adorable for his own good. Even though he’s only the visual maknae, he seems like he would act like the maknae: wrapping his arms around his hyungs pouting for something. Using aegyo to get away with things. But even though he likes to play around, he knows when to be serious.
Yoogyeom: He seems like he’d be very polite around everyone. (Even though he technically needs to since he’s the maknae, he’s just of a polite nature.) He might not fool around as much as Bam Bam, but when push comes to shove, he’ll crack a joke that’s so funny, everyone will fall on the floor (plus it’d be like 3am so it’d be five times as funny).
