Mark Antony and Lepidus (his two most important guys) got slapped in the face with nothing. 75% of it went to a scraggly teenager Mark Antony had once yeeted out of a carriage, and whom nobody else had heard of. One of the assassins was listed as a potential heir in case said teenager died. Teenager started calling himself Caesar Junior and his stepdad told him to knock it off. Antony bought out "NEW secret Caesar plans: Antony rulez!!" and the rest of the senate was like "He would not fucking say that." Somehow the teenager bullied two grown men into giving him the other 25% of the inheritance. At some point the Roman forum burned down.

I hope Caesar wanted chaos because that's exactly what they got.
