So I’ve been thinking about this for sometime and is anyone else kinda confused about Mac and Riley’s sexual chemistry? The more I think about it, the more I understand the platonic MacRiley shippers because I honestly can’t imagine then doing anything more than kiss(like not even make out). I know it takes a lot more to make a ship and I still do ship Mac and Riley romantically because of their emotional connection, but Mac has very evident sexual chemistry with Nikki and Desi and I really want to see Mac and Riley flirt and have sexual tension and all that. They’re both so hot and already emotionally compatible, I just want to see the writers show they have that fiery spark between them as well.

My take on Macgyver 5x07.
1. Mac and Frankie getting the venom. That was wierd that he wouldn't or didn't close that crate after he put a deadly snake inside. Thought he was smart
2. Desi is really getting on my last nerve. At every turn Mac is always the having to be the one to apologize. And they are getting very tiresome to watch anymore. Everything about Desi is making me irritable and i am not even PMSing. Her voice, her whining, their fighting and the forced apologies.
I am a the point where i have to unfortunately force myself to watch the episode. When i do i fast forward the Desi crap.
3. Hope MacRiley happens sooner than later or just end MacDesi very soon
4. Wouldn't Frankie have been arrested as a terrorist also because of the 2mil until she was cleared?
5. Hopefully Codex is the link between Mac and Riley

I find it disturbing that in season 5, with that flashback of Adora and Catra as children, that when Adora tried to make friends with Lonnie, Catra hurt Lonnie and when Adora tried to ask kindly what happened, she gets scratched in the face for it. And it was played off as a good character moment. Why did Noelle think this was a good scene to add? It just shown that Adora was always Catra's scratching post and that she is always being hurt by the one she loves. How's that a good message to kids?
yeah honestly the answer to why Noelle thought that that scene was an appropriate flashback to explore the depth of Catras feelings for Adora and vice versa is a really dark rabbit hole that I’m sure they’ll have to go down some kind of counselling one day but I will say they openly boast about how alike they are to Catra.
I also don’t even know what that scene was supposed to give us catradora wise? I dont see how its supposed to support the pairing or shed any positive light on their relationship or feelings? bc really what it showed is that Catra has always thought hitting Adora was acceptable, she didnt just start after Adoras defection and she didnt only hit Adora as She-Ra.
yeah I mean people like to forget that whilst being the Golden Child to Slim Shady she was definitely being abused by her to the point that Adora had a breakdown whilst sensing her presence in mystacor.
So Adora was being emotionally, verbally, psychologically abused by Shadow Weaver during her childhood and possibly physically
and at the same time she was being the emotional rock for Catra, protected Catra as best she could from Shady and we get to see that Catra was abusing her in return.
Catra was Hitting her in return
Catra literally cut Adora if she tried to make any other friends?
and we are told she’s adora happy ending?

y’all i love this ruke content and watching them sing together gives me chills and i will plot how they would eventually get together BUT i think for this show, i don’t want their relationship to b more than it already is.
i think having an interracial het couple probably means more on screen than reggie and luke’s relationship. also, i think having that relationship might over shadow the interracial gay couple we’re already getting, even if it doesn’t mean to.
THAT BEING SAID i think it would be great if they explored reggies bisexuality OUTSIDE the context of a romantic relationship.
