Yay for Smoothies!!!
I know I posted about my new personal blender, but haven’t really said much about it. As I’ve dated before in previous posts, I’m addicted to Red Mango’s Banana Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie. Like seriously addicted. So I’ve hunted for a dupe recipe. I searched y'all. I unfortunately came up empty handed. I looked on Red Mango’s website and came across the ingredients for the smoothie!

So I had to guesstimate. I will be posting a video of what I came up with! It’s yummy and chock full of protein and calories. Seriously. I use it as a post workout and a “just because it’s freaking delicious” drink. Stay tuned 😘

2/6/17- Morning Weigh In (I know I’ve seen this number before but this time it feels legit lol- we shall see tomorrow!)
I’ve been so busy with the Super Bowl party planning, but I promise I haven’t missed any meals! 😉 Now that it’s over, I can resume w blogging! I haven’t been taking Apetamin as religiously as I was (runs to take 10mls now). My appetite is somewhat regular now, but I will continue taking at least one dose a day to maintain. The last thing I want to do is fall back into bad habits.

I ordered one of these babies today so I can start making smoothies at home. Now I already had a Ninja blender, but I like the idea of making the smoothie in its own bottle. Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the banana peanut butter smoothies from Red Mango- but those things are EXPENSIVE! In New York the regular size (16oz) is over $5 and the large (24oz) is over $7… 🙀🙀🙀 I love them but the way my bank account is set up….

Not happening. I’m looking for a dupe of my favorite smoothie. I may have to buy one later and peek over the guy’s shoulder to take notes 🤣Anyway, off to the supermarket I go!

Update
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
I’m currently 107 lbs, still low but its in the 100s still. I ordered not one…not two…but FIVE BOTTLES OF APETAMIN. As soon as I get it I’m going to start and I am ready for the long road to get to 140-50ish. Crossing my fingers come March I’m at my goal for my birthday. Wish me luck, it’s gonna be a hard journey

2/1/17- nighttime weigh in. Trying hard not to be excited. I just ate a heavy meal so it's expected that I would have went up a bit. We shall see in the morning!

2/1/17- Food Diary I came up a little short today but I am literally stuffed 😳 Breakfast- I know this was my weak point. Most days I work late so I have a bit more time to plan breakfast, but today I had to be at the gym by 10am. I overslept a bit because I had to take theraflu last night and literally had to rush to work 😓. I managed to grab my favorite- a regular banana peanut butter smoothie from red mango. I wish I got a large 😅. I should really learn how to make this at home. Lunch- I picked up the pace here and took my dose of Apetamin l, went to my local Jamaican food place, and got baked mac and cheese. Now it isn't the way my mother makes it but it hit the spot haha. I sort of had to guesstimate how much I ate because he literally dumped a big piece into the styrofoam container. I'd say it's at least 2 cups. As far as the calorie count is concerned, I'm not 100% sure- and I honestly am not sure here's a way to really get an accurate calorie count when you get food that isn't from a chain food place. Oh well. 922 it is 🤣. While shopping in CVS I noticed that Ensure was on sale. I've never had it before, but I heard it's a staple in the weight gain community. I was a bit wary about trying it because I'm told it contains a lot of sugar (15g per 8oz bottle) but I figured I don't consume things with a ton of sugar on a regular basis, so one bottle a day won't kill me. I meant to grab the butter pecan flavor but accidentally got the coffee latte. It actually wasn't too bad! It was honestly an easy 220 calories plus 9g of protein! Being pescetarian you get excited about any inadvertent protein intake lol. Dinner- Y'all. I was a fatass. I took my dose of Apetamin and had another vegetable soup (since I may or may not have the flu). This soup was delicious. It's loaded with beans and pasta. Soooo much protein. Keeping on my protein streak, I had a delicious 8oz salmon fillet. I like my salmon with a1 sauce. Don't ask. I had 2 King Hawaiian Rolls which I absolutely loveeeee. It was an easy 180 calories. The 3 cups of iced tea was excessive, but I was thirsty and water just doesn't cut it. 😓. Snacks- I listed it under snacks but I had the granola bar after dinner. If you could believe I was still hungry. Maybe the Apetamin is kicking in after all. Lol.

1/31/17- Progress Pic I've decided to post a few "before" pics so it's easier to see progress. The shorts I'm wearing are spandex but I didn't feel like changing. The Apetamin has me so tired 😩I weigh 133 in these pics

How I'm snacking right now. Two large carrots peeled and cut into sticks. The red cup is 2oz so 4 tablespoons of ranch dressing. Remember, the calories aren't in the carrots- it's in the dressing!

1/30/17- Food diary ••••The numbers at the top changed for the bottom picture because I completely forgot I had a smoothie before work 😓•••• This is everything I ate yesterday. I'm still not 100% happy with the amount of calories I'm consuming daily, but I think this was a good day. As you can see in the last photo, I passed my daily goal of 2640 calories. That smoothie from Red Mango really saved me lol 😅 Breakfast- as I mentioned in an earlier post, I really don't like breakfast. I'm not sure if it's because I don't like eating early, or if it's just because I'd rather sleep in but my first meal is usually around 12pm. I loveeeee carrot sticks. I cut up a large carrot into sticks and eat them with ranch dressing. As you can see, the calories aren't coming from the carrots themselves- but it's from the dressing! In case you guys were wondering, a fluid ounce is about 2 tablespoons. I make sure that I completely finish the ranch to really get the most out of the meal. Lunch- I didn't have lunch yesterday because my "breakfast" was late and I left to go buy the Apetamin around 1pm (lunch time). I got back around 5 and my next meal was "dinner". Dinner- I took my dose of Apetamin and devoured 8 fried wontons and some fries with hot sauce 😋😋. I typically don't eat so much fried food, but I was craving it. (Side note- I don't think my heightened hunger was due to the Apetamin. I think it's far too soon for it to be working so I was just extremely hungry.) Fries is listed twice because I didn't realize I can edit the serving size amount in the app. I know now lol. Snacks- After I ate that? I was still hungry so I ate a small bag of hot cheese popcorn located under snacks. I left for work and grabbed a 24oz banana and peanut butter smoothie from red mango. Y'all. If you've never had one you need to run, not walk to your nearest red mango to try it. After the gym, I grabbed a veggie burger from bareburger and ate that. Delicious. Yet expensive. Yesterday was a good day.
