في الزمانات، وربما حتى الآن ولكن في أماكن أقل، كان جزء أساسي من رحلة زوار القاهرة هو عشاء على باخرة في النيل وأهم ما فيه أن تكون هناك "رقاصة"، والصورة معها هي تذكار مهم من ضمن اللقطات التذكارية لرحلة إلى القاهرة، مثلها مثل الصورة أمام الأهرامات.
