This scene from the Valentine’s Day LTSQ was so cute! I like Penny’s outfit for this, and you can tell that JC at least tried to age her up a bit for this quest. I won’t spoil the details from the quest, but I do wish this scene was longer. :)

I just got to that part with penny that everyone’s been talking about, and to me, it really seems like an accident she tried to laugh off. She was upset that she couldn’t do it to empress Lockhart, not because mc wasn’t enchanted with her. It doesn’t seem like she had any nefarious reason, or she wanted to hurt mc in anyway or take away their freewill or something. She wanted to impress Lockhart and then made an ill timed joke to try and make an uncomfortable situation less uncomfortable.

Couldn't have put it better myself. I really don't see this as the travesty of morals that people are apparently seeing it as. It basically amounted to:

Penny: Aw man, I didn't manage to cast that cool spell.

MC: Haha, careful there, you almost hit me with that!

Penny: *Suddenly sees a flirting opportunity.* Would that have been so bad? ;)

MC: *flustered*

It can mean a lot to have someone listen and wish you well. This red panda is here to offer you hot tea and a friendly ear. 🍵❤️️
