Okay! With things going rather well and being on track for an end of the weekend possible launch, I’m gonna drop a progress update:

-Some muses will not be returning for the new blog. Of these, Casey will be (eventually) moving to another blog as a very low-key muse for another project in the near future, and Cyan  will be returning eventually, but at the moment is a WIP that will not be ready when the new blog goes up.

-I will have several new muses available in place of them, but only two of the four newbies will be available for interactions on launch - The other two still require a great deal of work on their abouts, and like Cyan, will be saved as a WIP. All three will be added to the muse list when their abouts and icons are completed. Info about them will already be in the rules where needed, as they were already planned on being added from day 1.

-Everything has had a rehaul, from rules to theme to tags and even muses. All the muses will have a proper about page and have had major rewrites, reflecting how much they’ve grown and the like. There’s even new FCs in place, finally!

-I will be keeping the new blog under Slow Activity and selective. I simply don’t have the energy or the mental health for multiple ‘main’ main blogs and while I’ll be on the new blog fairly regularly, I may be slow to reply, which is true across all my blogs. To this extent, I’ll limit the number of the threads I have at any given time so I don’t overwhelm myself, which means a lot less starter calls and more memes instead! <3

-I’ve been trying to reach out to everyone I can about keeping up relationships, ships, and the like and if they’d be something y’all wan to continue - If anything’s changed or I haven’t reached out to you yet, hit me up!

-Speaking of that, shipping rules have changed - I’ll be highly unlikely to take on new ships with the new blog, and in the case of Sera, straight up won’t be. There’s been a lot I’ve realized in the last two years, and I’d love to build more friendships for my muses than I would romances - So the ships that get carried over will be the only ships unless there’s a LOT of time and work put into a new one.

It’s been 7 months since I announced the reboot, and in all that time, I... Bit off more than I could chew. Pretty normal for me. XD HOWEVER! I’m looking to get things up and running on the new blog by the end of the weekend at the latest, with some major changes I’ll detail out later once I have things settled a little more. Safe to say not all my muses will be returning, and some will be at a later date - Just to lessen the load on my plate, as trying to write up actual abouts for as many muses as I’ve been trying to add there is kicking me in the butt more than I thought it would.

New year, new me - And this new Pom’s come to a decision. <3

I am as of right now archiving this blog. I’ve ultimately decided to remake, though it’s gonna take me a few weeks to get a new blog up and running, especially since I’m not sure if I’ll keep the same url or not just yet and I have other blogwork elsewhere I need to finish up, too. But, since things on this blog are getting frustrating to deal with, it’s best to just archive it ahead of time, I think, rather than try and fight it further.

This was a long time coming, I think. I made this blog almost a decade ago, and a lot has changed since then, both in me and my muses. The site itself also is a contributing factor; no matter how hard I try to organize things and tidy them up, tumblr consistently forgets my new tags, but not old ones I care not to remember - even if I used it all of once 5+ years ago. Above even that, there are some bad memories tied to this blog’s past for me, and trying to tidy things up is consistently bringing me face to face with things  I don’t want to think about again.

This blog has allowed me to meet some incredible people though, and I love you all for sticking through things with me! <3 The plots, the muses, the muns - You’re all amazing and I love every single one of you! <333 As much as there’s bad on this blog I want to put out of my life, there’s just as much wonderful I do want to remember!

With that in mind, PLEASE let me know, either through a message or a comment on this post, or a like, if you want to keep something going and carry things over to the new blog! I’d love to keep things going, but I’m leaving that up to y’all, too! <3

Debating rebooting this blog in its entirety for the new year… Finding tags and such since reworking everything has become incredibly difficult with nearly ten years’ worth of content on here, and nothing wants to stick that’s current, while older things I don’t care to remember do. Of course that’s also just on tumblr and sucking at remembering current tags when you have older ones, but I digress.

If I do remake to a whole new blog, would anyone be cool with a refollow? I’m giving it some serious thought and won’t be doing anything until next week at the earliest due to health issues either way, but I’m being honest when I say I do miss things here, it’s just been difficult to deal with a lot of offline and non-blog related things, as well as the hassle of trying to keep so many years of content organized when I failed to do it previously. IF I do reboot, I’ll be keeping all current relationships and most of the current verses, but possibly pruning my muse list a bit to only the most active muses.

This is a blog I love and partners I love even more - I’m not willing to just close it now. <3

Sera is by far the opposite of the definition of healthy, at any point in her life. While her health can and does begin to turn around later in her life, she never truly falls under the definition of healthy, and retains several health issues while being able to reverse and ‘fix’ several others. Her health, however, is something she cares little about without the countering force of loved ones, and requires being kept in check, lest she slip back into old, bad habits and make her health worse once more.

Sera hovers just above the line of malnourishment and under undernourished, though the line is an admittedly thin one with her, as she has at least briefly been more of the former instead of the later. Having been raised in an abusive household from birth to 11 years old, good food was difficult to come by and routinely withheld from her, and, even with portions of her siblings’ meals added to her own, never seemed to be enough. She was never at a healthy weight for her age and developed a small appetite, and by the time she ‘left’ her birth family, was able to force herself to soldier on on little more than a single, small meal a day, usually along the lines of healthy berries or a breakfast sandwich, if she was really lucky.

However, her lack of an appetite brought with it its own issues, discovered during meals given to her by kind souls met along the way in her travels. Her stomach is fairly sensitive, easily irritated by foods that are too heavy or too strong in certain flavors (most notably foods that are too spicy, sweet, or sour), and gives her stomachaches on the regular, be it because of hunger or varying other reasons. Having less in her system also results in lower energy levels and makes keeping up with others difficult... But for a girl dead set on changing the world, this was something she could push through. Overworking is far easier for her to do than most, yet she refuses to let that be known.

Malnutrition has also ensured her immune system and growth in general has been impacted; she easily on the petite side, and struggles with illnesses most would brush off, frequently suffering from headaches and stomachaches among varying smaller aches and pain, as well as a tendency to bruise easily and a case of dry eye born from living in trees and dusty areas. Sicknesses are harder for her to fight off and take longer to recover from, as well as hit her harder - The very fact she’s yet to succumb to one and lose her life is a miracle in and of itself, and she will always be grateful for the good samartians who lent her aid in passing, keeping her alive when she needed it the most. She’s aware she looks as small as she is, and yet, isn’t bothered by it unless unwanted questions pry into it.

Her body temperature also runs cooler, as well, and oftentimes leaves her seeking warmth in the form of her cloak, a sweatshirt, or the arms of a loved one. She’s unbothered by climates on the warmer side of things and honestly finds them quite nice, though she still finds herself needing a blanket from time to time, regardless.With her immune system completely out of whack, so are her monthlies, usually delayed by months and causing incredible pain when they do hit in the form of cramps. Having children is something she comes to terms early on with being impossible, yet when she does, it’s a mess, as she’s far from physically capable of carrying a child without difficulties of some kind, and requires constant watching and extra medical care, on the off chance something could go wrong.

Sera’s health is something she doesn’t usually see a problem with, but understands how others do, and over time can be shown that it is, indeed, something she needs to be concerned with. It’s her bonds and eventual family (should she have one in any verse) that make her later take a good, hard look at how much she wants to see tomorrow and be there for those she loves, and the answer is always clear: More than she can ever say.

it’s this realization that makes her begin to take better care of herself and take more control over her health, more often than not starting in her early 20′s, seeing it slowly improve and even reverse some of her problems with it. She’s able to partake in larger meals and even expands what she can eat with far fewer cases of an irritated stomach, albeit meals that still aren’t anywhere close to big. Her headaches and dry eye have considerably lessened, and her energy reserves are higher - She’s still far off from healthy, but she’s trying.

Hoping that she hadn't devoted herself to preparing lunch, the male peers through the doorway. ❝ Seraphina, may I have a moment with you ? ❞ Hands behind his back——with no intention to reveal until she waltzed out of the area to take in his full visage.

For once, he wouldn’t have to worry; though the far more petite of the two blondes had settled herself in the kitchen, for once, it was merely to admire the decorations being made up for the evening’s later deserts. She’d made a special request for the night in hopes of seeing Ky smile, but there was something about watching the creation of the small roses out of a simple bag of frosting that was outright fascinating to Sera, each one set on a delicate cookie iced to resemble a small pond. She’d made the cookies herself earlier in the morning - why baking was so much easier than regular cooking, she’d never understand - but having not trusted herself to get the idea right, she was more than content to watch.

Or rather, had been; the moment his voice reached her ears, she almost seemed to light up like a sun, quickly turning to flash a bright smile in Ky’s direction. It took her no more than a moment to circle around the counter and make her way across the kitchen; did he have a day off, for once? He certainly deserved it, if that was the case - Ky worked himself far too hard, and she’d always be the first to remind he needed rest just as much as he did his work, more than concerned for the day ‘working too hard’ became ‘overworked’“O-Of course - Ah... I promise, I w-wasn’t trying to cook again. They... Seem to have h-hidden the pots and pans f-from me unless I’m baking something...” No doubt to avoid another hole in the wall, she was sure, though the only hint she’d give to her embarrassment over just remembering the last three she’d made was a dip of her head, smile weakening and turning sheepish. “I-”

Couldn’t help but pause as honey colored eyes dipped down, ever so slowly taking in his more casual outfit, from head to toe and back again. Perhaps he wouldn’t notice how her expression seemed to soften at the sight of him? Or the pink tint that rose to her cheeks, ever so slightly? “Y-You... You look... Q-Quite handsome t-today, Ky- A-Are you heading out somewhere today?”

...Maybe he wouldn’t notice how flustered saying as much had left her when she truly meant those words?

Sera’d admit, the way the words left her lips without hesitation startled her, darkening her cheeks to a vibrant shade of red. She’d not intended to actually reply to him; standing outside his door with a hand lifted, she’d meant to simply knock and wait for acknowledgement, as was the norm for her. Keep her head down, wait until she had permission to do something so she could avoid being a bother, don’t overstep - simple rules, but ones she abided by nonetheless.

And this evening was no different. With how busy Ky had been of late, she’d hoped he’d be in the mood for a bit of company; overworking oneself was never a good thing - ignoring the irony she often did so herself and denied it just as much, of course - and with him home... There was no reason to not check in on him, at the very least. Maybe he’d like some tea, or even just to talk? Or maybe... He wouldn’t laugh if she admitted she’d missed him and their time together, even if she’d blurted out a reply like a fool before he even knew she was there?

“I-I’m sorry- I meant to knock, I swear it-! I just- I mean-”

A pause, the blonde shifting her weight from foot to foot. She meant... What, exactly? Just how did she explain an out of the blue reply, or that she’d parked herself in the hall in a desire just to see him?

“...If... I-If you need a trim... I’d be happy to help?”

So it’s been a while since I decided to rehaul things here and I’m definitely sorry for going radio silent again. That was never my intention, but things behind the scenes have gotten... Different. Fair warning for a long post ahead.

Let me begin this by saying I have no plans to abandon this blog. My girls have been and still are very strong muses for me, and will continue to be! <3 However, like many times in the nearly nine years I’ve had this blog, my interests have shifted, and I’ve been focusing on different blogs that aren’t this one. I miss my girls here, and I still planned on bringing them back - But I’ve decided to do it differently than I’d initially planned when this overhaul began late last year-ish, largely so I can begin doing things here again once I post this.

This means the following things are going to/have begun taking place, placed under a readmore because whoops did not mean to be long af here:

-I’m going to be running this blog as severely slow activity. I refuse to leave my girls. I love them too much, and all of you! <3 But in recent years, a lot of my partners have left or moved on to other things, and things have slowed here, on top of dealing with a bunch of things offline really chewing up and spitting out my ablity to focus like a puppy with an old shoe. I’ve made other blogs and rejoined/joined other fandoms, but I will always return here, even if it’s just slower than I was in the past. That will always be a thing. <3

-With slow activity comes slow replies. I’ll check here a few times a week to make sure I have things drafted, but I’ll be taking on far fewer threads here than before and generally doing reply dumps once or twice a week, or as I’m capable. Again this is on nobody but myself and really trying to deal with a lot of things slowing me down and I hate it. Trying to push myself to stick to a ‘schedule’ for things, as well as pushing myself to stay active daily, really contributed to some burnout, I think, and made wanting to be here tiring instead of fun.

-I will have a pinned post made up soon with links to blogs I’m running that see more activity! <3 If I’m not here, you can almost guarenteed be able to find me at @sakurarisen, though! <3

-I’ve already changed the theme here, but pages are getting super rehauled and streamlined. One of the things I realized during my rehaul was that my girls’ bios were... Not.. Really bios. They were a list of personalities and HCs and with how much I’ve grown as a rp’er, not having a ‘proper about’ for my OCs was really bothering me. However, because these require rewriting literally everything, these pages aren’t completely finished yet, and will be ‘installed’ as I finish them. I am in no rush to finish anyone but Seun’s, as Sera’s is already finished and up, leading into...

-I’ll be putting less attention on Cyan, Casey, and Maika. I’m implementing a tier system here that I’ve explained in my (new and updated) rules, and at the moment, all three will be considered low-tier/tert muses, while Seun and Sera will be the primaries. I realized one of the things holding me back was how much I love them and want to keep them here, but a lack of interest in them made finding motivation to do anything for them difficult. They require the most work, too, and thus I’m taking things with them slowly. They’re not being removed... They just won’t see much attention for the time being, and I’ll alert when their pages go up and/or anything changes here. Always feel free to request them if you like! <3 I just won’t be any too quick to finish things <3

-There is a new muse list page in the works to replace the old nav page, but it’s currently last on the to-do list. At the moment, ‘muses’ links to the old nav page, which will link to the new profiles as I add them.

-As previously mentioned, i’ve rewritten my rules again? yes again I know to keep them pretty much he same across all my blogs. Of importance to this rewrite really is that shipping is now closed outside of the ships I have, this blog is slow activity, main verses are a single canon, please tag real life fires for me, and a ‘triggers/warning’ section, leading further into...

-I will no longer be avoiding Sera’s full backstory on this blog. Until a few months ago, I heavily hid Sera’s full backstory out of a desire to avoid anyone’s triggers or upsetting people who come across it, and only told it in threads. I will no longer be doing this. Sera’s life has been incredibly traumatic and full of hardships, abuse, and again, hard trauma, from birth to about the age of 16. I will be tagging this should it come up in threads and a rundown of what can be expected is now in my rules. I will always ask partners if they’re all right with it or require tags before it comes up in threads, and I am more than willing to essentially ‘gloss over details’ and hint at it rather than let Sera actually talk about it in threads with partners who are uncomfortable, or flat out avoid the topic in general - but this is Sera’s story. It is not nor will it ever be harped on nor focused on. Sera is not her trauma and will not allow it to become all that she is. She has suffered and will use those experiences to help others, yes, but she has a lot more going for her than that and will not bring it up without reason to. Running her FF and YGO based blog like his has actually allowed for Sera to grow and flourish for me and I just won’t be hiding her anymore.

-On this note, PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU NEED A SPECIFIC TAG. Sera’s life story is heavy. She doesn’t do well with memories and still suffers the aftereffects. Please, please tell me if you need tags, ommited details, etc. for comfort’s sake. I want us all to be comfortable here, and I will be as open and transparent as possible on things so nothing is a surprise, even if I can promise it won’t be coming up (and especially not in grand detail) often.

-Sera also has a new verse for Guilty Gear, tied to things that have been growing between myself and @sxtoritera​ for the last like.. 4 or 5 years. XD It will be getting a rewrite as I refine the verse entry and get back into the swing of things, but it was about time this got its own dedicated verse. <3

-Things here will be reopening as of this post, but please keep in mind they’re heavily under construction and I’m not really doing much with anyone but Seun and Sera at the moment.I will be updating as things change for anyone interested~

I’m sure I missed a couple things, but the last several months have come with a lot of realizations and attempts to work out what works for me now, compared to what did several years ago. I haven’t wanted to admit I needed to change things in me and how I do things, Burnout is a thing that happens and I hit it about the time I ran into a lot of offline stuff a year ago, but never noticed. Time to work out the whys and fix it. <3

I’m all for starting new things if anyone wants to with Seun and Sera as of this! <3 And more than anything, I hope you’ve all been well and have reasons to smile - y’all deserve it <3
