this is like the v reason it is a -danger- for Black trans women to engage w chasers or even the dl types who pay more attention to the homies than the ppl they desire. It has been known for decades that antiblackness and transmisogyny (transmisogynoir) are the driving cause behind what makes a major portion of these chasers decide to kill us after desiring to be with us: shame, fear of being ostracized or killed themselves, unreckoned with internal trans- and homophobia as well as the fetishization and disposability of Black trans women are all factors at play and yet white trans ppl called us fascists on here for saying we did not think it was some great honor for a supposed tme “ally” to refer to themselves as a chaser on here :/

on that note why is there NO medical privacy in Starfleet? there's like no private exam rooms or hospital beds in any sickbays. random people walk into the room in the middle of exams all the time and the doctors will just share diagnoses in a room full of people. like wtf what if I didn't need my supervisor knowing that I have IBS or im pregnant with an alien or whatever????? captains will just ask doctors for updates on someone's condition and immediately get them?

A crowdfunding appeal has been launched to help a 29-year-old Black trans woman who lost both her legs after allegedly being thrown onto NYC subway tracks by her boyfriend. A statement from the New York City District Attorney confirms that the victim and her boyfriend were at the Fulton St. station in Brooklyn when the man is said to have seen the oncoming downtown train coming and “thrown” his girlfriend towards the tracks. “The victim was rushed to the hospital, where both of her legs had to be amputated. She also suffered from fractures to her ribs and a blood clot in her lungs,” the statement continues. When the police arrived, they found the woman under the train, reports Into. The woman has since taken part in an interview with trans activist Hope Giselle, and explains that she was on her way to a gender-affirming appointment when she alleges that she and her boyfriend got into an argument and he “threw” her onto the tracks.

My sister wants me and my brother to join the workforce so bad she’ll suggest the most bullshit option like no I can’t work a full time job that also requires me to use our cities god awful excuse for a public transit system that would have me out of the house for 12 hrs straight bc it only stops in our town twice a day. No our dawdling ass brother cannot work a FAST food job and really should not have any job that requires working with customers which is why his one and only job has previously been a night time custodian like I hate to break it to you sis but our disabilities limit what kind of work we can do like very happy for you that you can withstand a full time job and have a salary and a little house w a cat but that just currently is not in the cards for us
