Hello. I wanted to inform you that the ref page linked on the about document leads to an empty blog page/a "page not found" message. That's all. Have a nice day.
the easiest thing to do is stay quiet when something’s up. you’re not bothered, and you know what? you shouldn’t be! it’s none of your business, even when it’s entirely your business. it’s difficult (read: impossible) to tell if your cheery demeanor is a cover-up for something sadder, or if it’s simply your natural state of mind. you see a lot of things: people coming through town, people leaving the house and never coming back, lies and deceit of the highest degree. what happened to you? will you ever be that kid again? your presence smells like cotton candy, and your fingertips sparkle like stars. whatever white rabbit you’re chasing isn’t going to lead you to wonderland if you don’t start reaching out when you’re not feeling okay.
shores, headbands, warm hugs, mugs, fruit baskets, blankets, sleeping cats. your essence is peach: you are a gentle, thorough heart who seeks to spread joy. you wish to create a home for others; you are the soil of the garden, hoping others will plant themselves and never leave. your thoroughness is always humble and you scarcely act alone. you are the tender. you are the homemaker. you find kinship in like-minded individuals of honey, marigold, cream, and apricot, who share your want to help others. you are also drawn to the efficient souls tawny and ashen, who will help you grow and stand on your own. however, you may struggle to get along with the shrewd personalities of lavender and honeysuckle who can be too quickly judgmental.
Eros, a two-tailed spiral galaxy located within the Hydraxxius constellation, often dubbed the Cornucopia of Life, the Great Kaleidoscope, the Prismatic Vortex. So many sapient alien species have evolved here in this galaxy with countless livable planets that it has been theorized time and time again that the probability of it cannot be mere coincidence. An untold amount of advanced civilizations have rose and fell that it would be near impossible to guess which of them is responsible for the galaxy’s incredible influx of life.
A little description of each, @ing each of my friends whose original species call the galaxy home.
THE PLAGUELANDS: The home of The Silent Dominion, home of the reviled Kariians. Those who cross their borders do not come back. The only maps of the Plaguelands that exist are those that were made from the comfort of Federation Space.
THE FEDERATION: The territory of the Federation of Allied Species (F.A.S for short), a relatively peaceful conglomeration of multiple sapient species. Their high government, the Electoral Elite, are composed of representatives of every species, with those who contribute the most to the well-being of the Federation and its inhabitants holding the most sway. The Thal’ni of Ieuzuno ( @cosmic-gemstone ) are an important, core member of the Federation.
THE CRADLE. Widely known as ‘neutral territory’, as in: an area just as multi-species as the Federation, but without the Federation laws. The planet Sigma Rhada 6 is the de-facto ‘capital’ of the Cradle, as it is the center of the many trades illegal in the Federation, but there exists a dozen other colonies as well. Because there are no laws, colonies are prone to rising and vanishing in quick succession; nobody here will remain who cannot fight to defend what is theirs. Where the Cradle borders the Federation have routine skirmishes, but the Federation does not intrude on the Cradle so long as they do not cross into their space.
TSURIS MOSAIC. The enigmatic region of the Vhrosevphæls ( @serpentongue ) staked majorly in the very outskirts of Eros, often called ‘the vast absence’. Most consider this area to be mostly void, starless. This is only somewhat true; volatile pulses and warps spread throughout the mosaic like living tendrils of energy and space-dust. None save for the Vhrosevphæls themselves have learned to navigate this unstable area of space, this including the Kariians, whose tech is the most advanced in the galaxy.
GIIRKI’S PAW. A small nebula, its most notable system known as the Tasho System, home of the ‘newcomers’ to Eros, the Midoans ( @vin-robles ) have only recently gained the capability of space-travel. For the time being, they remain neutral and unaffiliated, though the Federation has been contemplating an attempt to induct them into their numbers for some time.
CUIPRA NEBULA. The small area of space between the Dominion and the Federation that is home to both the Niakanu ( @techthiev @fernadorned ) and the Taalir, two species that are seemingly locked in eternal conflict due to their overlapping territories, with the mostly peaceful Niakanu routinely attacked by the violently fundamentalist Taalir.
WILD SPACE. While not impossible to navigate, unlike the Tsuris Mosaic, this patch of territory just next to the Dominion is referred to as Wild Space for more reason than one. Space storms are constantly roiling within, making travel lethal and if not lethal, immensely difficult. It isn’t known if these storms are the result of a natural phenomenon or from the meddling of the Dominion. It is here that is the most likely area for one to ever see a Kariian, as it is flush next to Dominion territory; this area is the ‘battleground’ of constant squabbles between exiled or otherwise independent Kariians attempting to stake claim over it and rule it to create a new Dominion. This always ultimately ends with the Speaker of the Dominion culling them. Between the threat of constant war and/or subjugation, and the dangerous space storms, non-Dominion species tend to stay away.
He’s mostly avoiding eye contact, but his crossed arms and flicking tail speak volumes about his mood. It takes a moment of rewording in his head before he finally says something.
“You made an... offer a long time ago. About helping me with the Black Aivvox? ...Does that offer still stand?”
His claws press lightly into his biceps as he speaks. It seemed someone was finally done rolling over for “protection” from people who were just as likely to beat him if he failed to pay.
Oh interesting. Naru’s finally gotten tired of this.
After so long rolling over for them and rejecting offers from capable friends out of fear of retaliation, he’s finally willing to seek help about his gang problem.
