I finished the master grade Barbatos 2 days ago and thought I'd keep the gun on its back or off it completely because Barbatos is a famously melee-centric mobile suit, but this idea was scrapped on account of this being the coolest gun in existence.
After finishing the live-action Avatar show with a friend that was visiting for a few days we unexpectedly ended up rewatching Legend of Korra Book 1 for the first time since we were 15, followed by the first 2 episodes of Book 2, and I'm starting to think that Korra was never bisexual but just a closeted lesbian because while I remember her relationship with Mako being bad in Book 2 I didn't remember it being so bad that she couldn't have a single conversation with him without getting angry. Really feels like this girl who grew up in a sheltered life was just desperate for the ideal of romance and then quickly realised she wasn't vibing with it.
People apparently debated back in the day who's the better villain between Kefka and Sephiroth, and while Kefka does honestly feel like the better written villain he is unfortunately held back by the fact that he isn't a black-clad, katakana-wielding swordsman named Sephiroth.
After years of waiting to get the money and time for it, I've finally bought and built the Perfect Grade GN-001 Gundam Exia.
During the build I listened to a few musicals for the first time (R&H's Cinderella, Mean Girls, Bat Boy) and the bop that is Apex Predator is now this model's theme song in my mind.
I'm a bit torn on the fact that Suletta doesn't kill anyone after the season 1 cliffhanger. On one hand it feels like the show didn't really deliver on what such a moment promises. On the other other hand the gatekeepers going "Get lost yuri tourists, the real Gundam starts now!" were really annoying and I find it very funny that they never saw her do anything like that again.
