My dad was dealing with some mixed feelings so I told him "In therapy when something is too complicated to do a simple 'pro and contra list' we sometimes do an excercise where you imagine all these mixed feelings around a table in some kind of conference, letting each tell their bit and you leading the debate."
and my dad didn't really respond and just stared ahead so I kept preparing lunch. Until a few minutes later when he suddenly piped up: "I am having a bad time at the conference"
so many areas have been un-wetlanded and we need to re-wet them. if there is an area that makes a big puddle for days every time it rains everyone wants to make a channel to make the water go away faster. but actually that solution creates muddy polluted water flowing rapidly into the streams. the real solution is to dig a wide shallow pit to become a pond and make the water hang out for longer so it can become the cattails' and rushes' home. make sure to make the edges a gradual slope so the frogs can get in easily btw
I am that type of guy who gets anxious over asking out video game characters haha, so it took ages for me to actually marry the digital book man despite maxing his heart soon after giving him the bouquet. Silly little art time to sooth my sick heart. Also decided to change up Wolfe's hair, just gonna say he cut it for their wedding.
Also sorry to Elliott my man, one of my cows gave birth the first night he was on the farm. I can imagine that would be something...
Me: *super excited bc I was just gifted a crochet opossum*
Tourettes gremlin: "Duck-duck!"
Me: "no, we got the opossum, not the duck"
Tourettes gremlin:
BTW for context- "duck-duck" is just a tic that happens when I'm excited, happy, or see ducks. I proceeded to duck-duck off and on for 10 more minutes.
Do not read if you catch tics easily and have piercings!
I got my ears pierced when I was younger but I quickly discovered piercings aren't something I can have. My Tourette's would try yanking the earrings out of my ears, so I had to ditch them. I've tried earrings recently and it's still a problem.
It's always made me very sad because there are SO many cool earrings out there, pretty much anything you could want, and they suit me so well.
BUT! I've just discovered fake ball and spike piercings and eyelash glue! I can now have lip, snake bite, eyebrow piercings, you name it, that look real and stay on pretty good! Im so happy. And if my tics do attack it, it won't hurt me and I can just stick them back on.
