"I won't take up too much of your time, I promise." Taking off the backpack she placed it on the ground then pulling a seat across from her.
"I really hope you don't mind me coming here." She couldn't help but give off a nervous chuckle. Maybe she was bothering her friend by coming in durring her break, Chen proably would have wanted to spend it by herself. No Keep a smile on your face, don't let her worry.
"So, anything you recommend?"

”Sure, I doubt anyone would mind me taking a little longer break than usual.” She said leading to one of the tables and plopping down. “Though I can’t stay too long since I can’t be on break forever.” Chen sighed.

It was good to see Chen hadn't broken her cat ears and tail habit, then again, neither did Rin. Those were come of her favorite memories with Chen, was making different kinds of ears and tails to match different outfits. They always did have their favorite pair.
"Well if you'd like to spend your break catching up..." Rin had a teasing grin spread across her face, while holding her arm out. "I wouldn't mind eating here with you."

Chen watched her friends face, mirroring the much anticipated happiness. Not only did she find Marisa here, even if they never really got along due to some scrabbles with Marisa and Yukari, she had Orin whom she had grown close too in Gensyokyo. Maybe it was because both had similarities in cat ears and tails.
“Well it seems you’re doing great. It’s just awesome to see you again.”
Chen hugged her friend back, letting go to give a bright smile. “Yea, you’ll love Nox. I miss Gensyokyo but this is next best!” She said excitedly
."You probably guessed by now, but I just got here and I’m starving."
”Ah really? This place has great food!” She said motioning inside.
"Did you just get off work?
"Heh, only a break sadly." Chen said rubbing the back of her head.

Rin couldn't believe that she ran right into one of her closest friends, when she had quite literally just entered the city. Hopefully now she won't be as stranded as she had first anticipated.
"Yukari said I wasn’t social enough with others than Ran so she sent me here to meet new people and learn to live on my own… heh."
With a nod she wrapped her arms around Chen in a bit hug. "Well it seems you're doing great. It's just awesome to see you again." Rin gave a full hearted grin down to her friend.
"You probably guessed by now, but I just got here and I'm starving." She gave a quick look around the restaurant. It looked very nice, Chen landed a nice job. Then back at her friend, just then noticing the uniform. "Did you just get off work?

Chen rushed over to her, eyes bright with excitement. It’s been two months since she had left Gensyokyo and Orin, well Rin as she liked to be called, was someone whom her master Yukari affiliated with so Chen and her had become close in a way. It was a relief to finally find someone she knew for once.
“It’s been forever. I didn’t expect I would have ever run into you.”
”I thought Yukari would have told you, or atleast Ran. I live here now.” Chen replied.
"So, how’d you end up here?"
"Well…" Chen scratched the back of her head, thinking of the best way to put it. "Yukari said I wasn’t social enough with others than Ran so she sent me here to meet new people and learn to live on my own… heh."

Wait, that voice, it couldn't be. Rin's head snapped up at the familiar tone and not to mention her nick name. "Chen, is that you?" Her face broke out into a huge grin as she waved back. "It's been forever. I didn't expect I would have ever run into you."
"I left because, things started getting really repetitive and I wanted to change it up. So I saved up money and as you can see." Rin gestured to herself. "I am here. So, how'd you end up here?"

Rin smiled as she stood on the outer edges of the city, she didn’t expect it to be this enormous. She could see the roads buzz with people even from where she was standing. Nodding to herself, as if making confirmation she took her first few steps into the city.
Even though it was busy, it wasn’t crowded, easily making her way down the streets with nothing, but a backpack full of her things. Rin needed to find some sort of place to stay and fast, she couldn’t wonder around forever.
*Grumble*
"Fine I’ll get food, even though we just got here." Rin shot a threatening glare down at her stomach before walking into the first restaurant she saw. 'I hope this place has great food.'

Rin gave off a startled squeak, turning to the boy who had just bumped into her. His change in language caught her off guard, was that Spanish just now? Probably seeing as how in this place, normal people are going to be hard to come by. "Oh, don't worry about it."
"Well, is being different a good or bad thing? Since you're not exactly something you see everyday either." A small smirk graced her face before she glanced down and saw a dog by his side. "Doggie!" No don't squeal, don't you dare squeal!
