Why do you ship cheese sandwich with pinkie? I am curious. I just think they look good together.
That’s an interesting question!
The main basis of it is this: he’s the most suitable character to be paired with Pinkie, outside of the Mane Six. (And to be honest, I personally think she’s the only straight one out of her friends.)
Some say that Cheese is just a carbon copy, male version of Pinkie, but I see more than that. He was shamed for who he was, she was encouraged to be herself— at least, that’s what’s assumed, seeing how her parents didn’t force her to stay on the rock farm.
Pinkie isn’t as oblivious as Cheese is; he wasn’t aware he was hurting her feelings, she usually can tell after a while.
Aside from that, they balance each other out well and can goof off and be sweet and loving. They’re just a pure, kind couple who have been proven to be good friends. Plus — this is kinda off-topic but not really, you need to read CheesePie fanfiction by scoots2. This woman is the master of acing these dorks, in my opinion. I was already won over of the ship after “Pinkie Pride” and her fics just fanned the flames.
Long story short: I just like the CheesePie ship because they’re sweet, dorky and share common ground. It makes for a cute pairing.
