Hi there! 

I have no immediate release date, but I’m really wanting to have it released before The Last Jedi! Progress has been slowed by a lot of personal life stuff, and a sudden sharp decrease in my personal time, but this is a project I am still very intent on finishing!

just an update that the game is still going to happen, i’m just dealing with a lot of life stuff right now. i’m sorry.

hellooooo everyone!

after a nearly 100% unproductive day yesterday -- i hadn’t slept, i was fixing my sleeping schedule -- i am pleased to say that i am!! so pumped to work on the game today!! i worked through some problems that were nagging at me with the way the story was going, and figured out a crucial bit of coding to make moving forward easier.

some things to look for in the finished game; 

→ cycling dialogue choices! i haven’t decided whether or not i will go back and rework the beginning of the game and the start of mitaka’s route to follow suit in those, because that will eat up a bit more time -- i may just release an updated version after i release the full game for play. regardless, what that means is that now you will be able to click through and pick specific topics to discuss with characters, and they will respond according to your choice!

→ at some point in the game, you are going to be locked into your romance choice with whoever you pursue at a certain crucial story point; this is for the sake of cutting down on production time. if, in a later, updated version, you’d like to see more freedom from that point forward, please let me know, and i’ll see what i can do then! i rely very heavily on feedback from you all, and will continue to do so once the game is released so that i can make updates and changes to make the experience overall more enjoyable!

→ keep an eye out for fun easter eggs! after a really fun conversation, i’ve decided to include a few fun little things that you can happen across in the game if you follow certain choices. i won’t spoil it now, but i hope some of you will get a giggle out of it the same way i have!

so i’m working on the game, and things are going as usual, you know, just working along, typity typing. and then i glance down.

and see i just. i write little captions to keep me on track with the story so that i know what to put in those boxes when i’m working there later.

and i look down and just. very small, in the corner:

you should all know i’m back to working on the game, full speed ahead!!

I’m so happy that you enjoyed the demo; I’m really excited to roll the game out, honestly --- it’s taking longer than expected, because I really did not account for just how big of a game this is going to turn out to be, but I’m sure it will be worth it. I’m home from a brief stint of working several hours from home, which means I’m back in a steady place to keep working on the game. I’m working on a block with 27 variations depending on what you’ve chosen thus far!
